- Before a hunter takes a shot at any game animal, he or she should ask 3 questions: Is it safe? Is it legal? Is it ethical? Watch these various scenarios to see why. For more information on hunter education in Texas, go to tpwd.texas.gov...
Thanks for posting this. It's always worthwhile for us hunters to consider our shots, carefully.
The video I watched before this was Josh Bowmar taking a 95 yard shot with a bow on a Mule deer. To his credit he hit it, but now dudes all over are going to take those shots without proper training. I guess at 95 yards they probably can't even hear the bow go off much at all, but react to the arrow flying at them.
Excellent video,
Great video
So shooting a moving dear is a No, and shooting a flying bird is "sporting"...
Yeah I don’t see why a moving deer is unsafe, if you know you can safely miss then there is no risk. If you know, I guess government agencies have to be overly cautious.
@@mj6463 Because you’re using a rifle with a deer and a shotgun with a bird. Birds are easier to kill and you have a lot more room for error with point of aim and point of impact versus a deer.
