Hey Rolf, I have a question here. Can you please explain the definition of extended period of time? As you said market should not trade below the lower Bollinger bands for an extended period of time. So how much time ideally we consider as an extended period of time. Please advise 🙏

My trading has improved since trading with daily pivot points.
How about strong bullish or bearish thru Bollinger bands or vwaps hopefully not coming back to retest?
In the first two examples you have missed half the move by the time you get in, can't you use a smaller EMA to get in earlier?

Generell kannst du wohl die meisten Strategien auf verschiedene Märkte anpassen. Man kann dann an verschiedenen Stellschrauben drehen und an die Volatilität und andere Faktoren anpassen.
Der Backtest zeigt dir dann wo noch Anpassungen erfolgen müssen. Evtl kann ich das in einem der nächsten Podcasts besprechen

Day trading forex is the easiest way to wipe out the account fast. It is more similar to a lottery game than trading. Price doesn't obey tech analysis and even if you have 3-4 indicators that suggest buying there is a real chance that price will start to fall. Avoid day trading FX except if you find losing money to be fun.
But people make good money with day trading
Depends on skills, prudent decision making, and discipline in following your trading plan. There are people who are really good at scalping and day trading, and make lots of money on day-to-day basis.
As long as you have a positive winning rate, losing is not a problem because you are still profitable. Just follow your trading plan to avoid blowing out your account.
