It’s true that RIVAL was originally named for the usage of Red and Blue colors, signifying 2 Teams to face off against each other. But with this new color scheme appearing as far back as Summer 2022, it’s officially a new Lineage that we’ve dubbed “RIVAL Upgraded”, due to the internals being overpowered. The HIR rounds are also given a special Streamlined mod (Plus, a Blue Color to match the Palette on the Blasters), allowing them to fly at least 90 feet.
While not true rifling for spin the barrel is ribbed for accuracy. Look at the barrel up close from an angled photo. The fine print on the 8 Round Removable. Magazine callout says it's compatible with standard mag fed rival blasters. I bet this magazine works in the Challenger, the question will be if the Challenger mag works in the Mirage. On the Walmart listing it states Blasters and Accessories sold separately. That could be a clue along with all the tactical rails and barrel lug that attachments are coming. The Mirage appears to have the same spring loaded carabiner clip as listed in the Challenger description. How long will it take before someone cuts away and removes pieces to create a minimized Star Trek phaser pistol?
I really dig the new design style that Hasbro is taking with these upcoming Rival blasters! definitely looks to be a very solid blaster with some nice features
Coop approves this blaster because it has an N-Strike barrel lug😝 I wish he would come back just for videos here and there for all the cool blasters coming out!!! Who doesn’t want to see him review the challenger cause he loves the stryfe so much👍🏻👍🏻
im going insane over this right now. i want this one over the electric one. im primarily a springer guy and i already own every acu rival in the blue line so far. i might even get a take down and saturn but the new blue line out performs them by alot.
Im definitely liking the look of this and the challenger, here's hoping these come over to the uk as over here we never got the pilot or the forerunner over here last year, thankfully though i did manage to get a pilot off ebay last year so you know 😊.

(been a while since i havent been commenting on your videos, so sorry about that) but i have some interesting things to point out on the new rival mirage, firstly i think the mirage cutout on the grip must be there to reduce cost and i also noticed that both the mirage and challenger doesnt have those movable iron sights and those green front sights which the other accu-rival blasters have mainly the forerunner, vision, fate, and pathfigher ever since the pilot came out, which is interesting since those 5 dont seem to have tac rails like those 2 new blasters and i have theory that nerf might make a large accurival blaster that will introduce a new barrel attachment for rival (similar to the retaliator) that could be eqquiped with the mirage and challenger
Well, maybe it's a stock in the sense that the Apollo has a stock. One that isn't really primarily being used. If need be, I'm sure you could prime the Mirage, and then shoulder it after.
@@foamquest Hi, thanks for replying! Yeah I get what you mean but the Mirage's end looks like an actual stock, instead of the apollo's extended butt. Also, stocks are generally useful when you're priming the blaster, so you can have your shoulder support the strength required to prime. In this case, the design is kinda dumb. But anywho, ig we'll find out when it releases :)
I only own the Seagull and the Hurricane. My Hurricane is the collector transparent Red #501, it's still NIB. The Seagull is great though. I would probably only change the stock on it or add some grip tape. The pump grip is very small but I got used to it. I got a green Seagull but wish the Orange was available when I bought mine. Now do I get matching green mags or not, hmmm?

I would suggest getting both, the new blue line is awesome but both the takedown and saturn are awesome too, especially with accu ammo

@foamquest If the priming handle is where the stock is, when you prime it, the priming handle will exceed the stock. So is the stock unusable?
