13:49 The guess say Prendergast is the best 10 in this tournament... Apparently he hasn't seen any game with French 10 Hugo Reus (1 year and a week younger than Prendergast) who scores 2 tries, made 16 out of 17 conversion, 1 penality kick and got one 50/22

he may of missed a few tackles but made a try saving tackle. Also if you watch him across this tournament and the 6 nations , he made plenty of big tackles and is getting really good at holding up the tackler , creating a maul and often turn over ball. He's also 90kg and 6+ft

Max Deegan is only mentioned as an example of a guy who stood out in the u20 2016 WC as a standout player yet has struggled to get into Leinster starting team (albeit he has had a lot of injuries) and that there is no guarantee these guys will be able to make the jump to regular starting professional or that the path ahead will be the same for all as Deegan had Conan ahead of him and before he could outshine him in comes Doris and they make the point Gleeson will have to compete with Gavin Coombes who is only 3-4 years older and could potentially be his rival for years at Munster
Don't believe Gleeson was compared to Deegan as a player, just an example of what may be ahead of him and to temper expectations I think.

Oh for Gods sake, it's not bitchy and it's nothing to do with his being from Munster! It's just a note of caution about pressure/expectation on a young lad, and he's using a Leinster player as an example! Max Deegan came out of the 2016 tournament as U20s World Player of the Year, the ceiling was huge for him! But events/injuries and those ahead of him in Leinster conspired for his career to be good but not as stellar as it might have seemed at the time. Gleeson has vast potential, he'll almost certainly be nominated for U20s World Player of the year, but there are no guarantees in sport, or life. God knows these past couple of weeks have made that patently evident.
