Great video. Been a massive help. I've come stuck on that 13mm bolt by the water intake at the back of water pump. Any suggestions on tooling? I can't get the angle with a long socket. Cheers.
Will a faulty power steering pump cause the steering to be notchy when turn the wheel? Like there's no power steering then it starts with power steering when turning the wheel?
It can feel like that but you would normally get a whining noise at the same time. If it has hard spots when turning, I'd be more inclined to say steering box issues
@@wardysworx excellent thanks for the quick response, picking up a 2nd hand pump tomorrow, will try that first the steering box next. Pump only £20 so not bad price
Do you have a part number or a link for the O-ring that went between the cradle and the block? It seems removing the cradle is a bit easier than having to take off the turbo and oil sump to reach at those water pump bolts. Getting ready to do the water pump and power steering myself soon as soon as all the parts come in!
Thankyou so much! This is exactly the vid I needed with little all info available elsewhere. You are a legend!

@@landroverman79 let's hope it's the pump because the box is a right pain in the arse to change.
@@wardysworx ah balls time to start watching vids about how to change steering box just incase.
