Salvador Sobral was forbidden by doctors to sing at Eurovision. He was very sick but he went to pay homage to his sister. Then he came back, he had a heart transplant and today he's fine
The song is of loving a person beyond death. The idea of a person weak and the other wondering what to say. The words they say are even after your gone I will love you still. The title of the song is "Loving for both" and not in the sense one no longer loves, but that they died. This would be thus the swan song you offer to let them know there is nothing that can replace you in my heart. The crowd loves the movements he does and style of music choice because it harkens to old times and the hands by the heart or making little movements which are delicate thus remind of times gone by and being full of emotion. My top 10 list at Eurovision, unless someone tells me something to watch: 1) “Hurricane” by Eden Golan (2024) 2) “Arcade” by Duncan Laurence (2019) 3) "Fairytale" Alexander Rybak (2009) 4) "Amar Pelos Dois" by Salvador Sobral (2017) or "Loving for both" or in other words one is about to die and the other is saying they will love them still 5) "Hasheket Shenish'ar" by Shiri Maimon (2005) or "The Silence that remains" 6) “Why Me?” by Linda Martin (1992) 7) “Nocturne” by Secret Garden (1995) or "the night" 8) “Waterloo” by ABBA (1974) 9) "Zitti E Buoni" by Måneskin (2021) or "Shut up and be good" by Moonlight 10) “Ne partez pas sans moi" by Celine Dion (1988) or "Don’t Leave Without Me” 11) “Toy” by Netta (2018)
Lovely song!! Beautifully executed with his unique voice and flowing gestures!! Enjoyed it very much!! Great spot on reaction in tune with the song!! 💜🎵💜🎵
What a love song 🎵. I felt like I was watching an old movie, and this song came up ala Edith Piaf. 💖 It is very dreamy and was executed so nicely.🎤🎼 Your reaction captured just what I was thinking, Hap!! It is uncanny sometimes😊💐 Ana, what a lovely selection! Peace J ✌ ☮ 💕
This song reminds me of Angelina Jordan's Song "Song For A". I had almost the same feeling - like a breeze floating across a field. And that's how the singer conducted the notes while feeling the melody. The combination with this orchestra and his voice - wonderful performance. And this song also reminds me on songs of movie's of the 40th, 50th. It was a perfect decision to enjoy the song without the lyrics at first so you could focus on and enjoy this soothing vocals. Nice reaction HAP 🥰🙋🏻♀️.
