This might sound weird, but could you do a video of your trigger finger during a race and do a double screen with the race video? It would be super helpful to see things like throttle and brake control at various parts of the track
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m so happy to see you getting more and more into 1/8 off-road and specifically 1/8 nitro. Would love to see you run truggy also
Hey Ryan , just wanted to Say that youre to me by far the best RC channel on UA-cam , your stuff is so well produced and the presentation is calm and precise. Its the best way to Enjoy my cup of coffee before my Day. I got back into RC and RC Racing because of your channel , thanks.
hey Ryan! I love the slomo at the end! What i wished for is maybe only some stills from the dirty beaten up cars. but thank you anyway for your work and thank you for letting us participate. cheers!
Those TLR cars are like 2-3 engineering changes away from being the best car on the market. I sold mine because no matter what change I made to it, I couldn't get that rear end waggle out of it. You name it, I tried it. When it was on, it was ON, but it was a handful all the other times.
That latter half of the ebuggy main (!), some of the smoothest, most consistent laps I've seen you turn - great job! Congrats on 2nd place 🥈 You seemed to be struggling in the nitro main but hung in there - well until that shaft bent! Enjoyed the racing as always and nitro is always a blast! 👍
Very nice and fun race. Looked like your nitro buggy was a bit more loose than your E setup. Thanks for sharing the vid 🔥💪🏻. Keep the Nitro content burning 😁
Sick hat love the multi tasking to keep up with moto I just got my first nitro truggy hopefully catch you at one of the central fl tracks in the near future!
Would love a 101 on how to build & get running in nitro buggy, perhaps info for those want to make the jump from electric, how to install motor, fuel lines etc, filters etc break in, how to start, setting AF ratio, & tips for racing etc
Very interesting from a promoters view. Yes, I have promoted many live events in the past. I would love to create a series for Professional Drivers, where they actually get paid. Not just get comp for hotel and or a per diem and or food allowance for a weekend event. There needs to be prize money in it for pro drivers to continue their career. As well a tier system. Tier 1 Pro, Tier 2, Semi Pro Drivers and or developmental drivers, Youth development all in the same structure. I would love to create a tour event 5-6 events With in North America and Central America. in a few months. I am inspired from your videos! Keep up the great work and if you know or suggest drivers fantastic, lets build the industry!!!
go with a lighter center diff oil. the car will be much easier to drive. you got a lot of wiggle woggle going and it looks like you gotta be very gentle on the throttle. lighter center diff will help that and your confidence will go up once you realize your putting power to the ground haha just try it
First of all love the videos! Got into the hobby in December with a TLR 22 5.0 and totally have the rc racing bug. Just recently got a Tekno eb410.2 because I wanted something different for a 4 wheeler and has been a blast. I’ve been on carpet only so far, what would you say the “fun” and “competitive” factor is between carpet and clay and outdoor 1/8th scale is?
hex ryan , cool stuff man , love your vids , I look your video know and on my left site I build my new toy the TLR 8eight e elite buggy ;-) , best regards from Germany
I have a question... my 22-4 just started running away. It has a new esc, motor and receiver. What causes this? I have looked it over and everything is working fine
@@DonutRoller no tires works “perfectly” on this type of surface. More importantly was the compound choice for the track temp. I went softs and they lasted all day
@@RyanHarrisRC it makes the races more interesting that’s for sure, love your vids btw, I’m hoping to see you at hobbyplex in the future, it’s my home track!
No end of race summary, no final thought, no setup ideas at the end, the intro was at the end of the vid, no pit table banter..... This was a very un-Harris like vlog? 🤔
Long day, hurried home, cars weren't 100% and racing wasn't 100% lol My 1/8 journey continues and I will share progress and setups when they get dialed in!
This might sound weird, but could you do a video of your trigger finger during a race and do a double screen with the race video? It would be super helpful to see things like throttle and brake control at various parts of the track
Weird question, but good and understanding. I agree
Great idea! I used to marshal for the A classes just so I could listen to the fast guys throttle and braking in the corners. Taught me sooo much!
I totally am struggling with this so a video with some tips on throttle control and how to actually drive from a drivers stand would be so helpful.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that watches supercross in between heats!
Glad all out is back up and running. Fun facility. The heat is killer out there in the summer though!
I have to make it back out there for some off-road and crawling… I see he removed the oval that was fun to have with the old layout!

C hub cars can be tricky for sure. But I really like the steering feel vs a pillow ball car.
It was fun to race with you!
YEEESSSSSS 8th SCALE BABY!!!!

Awesome driving. I just took home second in my latest 17.5 buggy race. Your videos inspire me to learn more and improve my driving.
Very nice and fun race. Looked like your nitro buggy was a bit more loose than your E setup. Thanks for sharing the vid 🔥💪🏻. Keep the Nitro content burning 😁
Went with a long wear compound for the longer main, but I think I could have used Softs and been just fine.
Yes!!!! I’ve been requesting more racing vids thanks Ryan your the best bro💪🏼
Great to see some of your racing vids again.
Tomac is on top lol. Cool to see an RC/MOTO guy! Loving the videos, Ryan!
Awesome video bro! I'm looking to get back into the hobby and you have inspired me! Probably just going to stick to electric though!
8th scale looks so fun
Nitro is all about that $$$

badass slow mo at the end
Great video my man, I really liked that slow footage at the end, great video camera Sony??

Yeah that's a rough time! But, hey, 2nd in ebuggy! Your race vlogs are awesome!
Now just some gas truck at B&T Raceway March 26-28. Crestview, Fl.
That's one bad hat Harris.... :D
Hey have a close look at your video at 7:01. You only moved one side outside link hole. one is all hole 2 and one in 1.
Full disclosure, I did a quail with it like that 🤣 fixed it for the main tho 🤘

Y'all gat real handsy in those races
Good to see you running 8th scale, because I got something you might be interested in
This track looked like it had a mishmash surface, super dusty but also hard packed. Looks like the shock oil needed to be super soft as well
Most FL tracks get this way by main time 1/8. Hard pack red clay with loose sand on top
@@RyanHarrisRC yeah tricky surface to prep for, also track had heaps of little ruts and bumps, shock absorber tester!

Super cool video
You should try 6Mik tires
Fantastic, more 1/8 content! and nitro...
Thanks for the videos, great job as always. BTW, cool hat...where'd you get it...?
Great video
Wild and loose looking track. Those lips looked extremely square and unforgiving. Way to make the best of a super tough weekend
The jump shapes were very... creative lol I'd take a track vs no track any day!
Wish they would open more tracks in SoCal
Awesome video, those raw speed tires seemed to let you down tho, constantly sliding around and struggling to get on the power earlier.
Come race on sandy hard pack and see what happens ;)
@@RyanHarrisRC I hear ya, my local track is a just bath too. :)
Awesome to finally meet you. You looked busy so I didn't make much small talk. I also had dnf's. All out is my kryptonite.
Sorry man! I’m usually always wrenching on something, but please come say hi whenever!

Probably 🤣
Do you race here often?
❤AWESOME VIDEO REALLY APPRECIATE IT
I love you vidios
Can we get some mx videos? I thought you ride too
Needs moar spheeeeeeed!
WHAT IS YOUR SETUP?
I have a question... my 22-4 just started running away. It has a new esc, motor and receiver. What causes this? I have looked it over and everything is working fine
U try Google?
@@shiftgear190 it was my receiver don't know what happened.
Where is this track been looking for one ???
Awesome! Is this the only close 1/8 for you?
Kinda? A few track run the 1/8 program near me but not consistently
What was the pill setup for the LIT blocks?
1 down in/ 1 down in
Man, that nitro car looks likes it’s a handful (poor handling) my brother. Great job driving though!
She needs some love for sure, way to reactive to keep it consistent
Electric went well, nitro looked like it was a bit more hard work
"Super Secret Website" Link for setup sheets not working :(
You need to come to zoo city one time and try it out
You should try hb cars easiest to drive
Weren’t those aurora tread pattern
Yes! Misspoke 😫

Limit rear droop. It looks like you had way to much weight and chassis aditude movement when letting off or breaking.
Noted! 🤘
Are any 1/5 scale vehicles allowed on the track for an open practice?
