The only thing I'm upset is that it's another remake of a beloved classic. Disney needs to stop before they destroy their reputation fully. (The woke also needs to stop)
Yeah the more live action remakes they do the more of a self parody it seems. It's difficult to say which remake was the jump the shark moment, but it's well since passed.
Gotta love the “twist” that girlboss Wendy is the true she-ro and puts patriarchy Peter in his place. Never could have seen that one coming in current year.

I watched the Japanese version on Fox kids in 90s. That's the only Peter Pan I've seen.

What a joke!
i watched the original peter pan not too long ago and it was way outdated. still very good but had bad depictions of native people. remaking the same movies over and over has little value but at least now you can show your kid peter pan without having to explain why it was problematic.
Yeah, except they just swapped one "problematic" trope for three more, including characters who are too awesome to learn lessons. And kids watching this version now when they grow up will be getting yelled at by the generation behind them because tastes in the year 2063 will have changed and that generation will want to know why there was such condescending attitudes towards minorities in these movies.
