My favourite Crested Gecko Morph has to be the Lilly White! It is such an incredible gene! The beauty of the animals expressing this genetic trait is astounding! What I also love is that no two lillies are the same - not even clutch mates! Talk about special! Thank you for watching everyone!

I traveled two hours just to get a tiger morph cresty, my first pet! 2 months after I got him he is great, growing a lot and will even sit on my shoulder when I have to do homework or watch some tv. I think he likes it when the Geico commercial comes on :D.

@@braydonbroome7473 funny you ask that today considering today is the day piccolo was delivered. I have a job at sonic which I love a lot and I make so much money even If it’s nothing compared to others it’s a LOT to me. I do take a lot more naps now tho. I find myself tired often but that’s fine.
@@braydonbroome7473 piccolo is quite shy and I only try to hold him for about a minute so I don’t stress him out while he’s still exploring his new home. I’m going to try and hold him for at least 5 minutes next week. Hopefully he won’t be scared of me for too long.

Also always loosen the "root ball" when planting plants from a pot! 🥰 Helps them establish their system faster.
Great tip! The plants I planted where actually all from one massive root ball I separated up haha.

I love my crestie! He is a lavender harlequin with some dalmation spots and possibly some brindling. When I was setting up my bioactive for him I watched your other video of setting up the other enclosures for your cresties and it was a huge help, it’s how I found this channel actually

they look great! i don’t have any crested geckos, but my best friend has on and i’ve cared for him before! the jungle mix is ok for me, it always gives me splinters. i prefer zoomed’s reptisoil. i love the cork! also the music in this video was nice😅
I have two female crested geckos and they are easily one of my favorite geckos! I love their personalities so much. my one, rin, is a pure flame. then my other, haruka,is a flame bold-tricolor!!💜 I am actually currently working on building a natural vivarium for rin (dont worry haruka is next!), so this video is very helpful! thank you!

Yes you could say I have and adore cresties, I have 8 all rescues. I have two harlequin ,Dalmatian ,tiger ,flame ,red patternless ,blonde ,Halloween, all are in bio active enclosures. They are so fun to watch and interact with .. great video!

I was wondering why my crested gecko stop eating (every other day) she would clean out the bowls now she has stop eating for a couple of days do you know what’s wrong i just moved her into a new cage because she was to big for the other one and she was eating just fine when I moved her for a week and half now she stop

I have 10 crested geckos, I love them all! I have Dalmatians, pinstripes/quadstripes,,I would love to have a Lilly white one day. Great video!

Here’s a tip:
Depending on what type of crestie you have you might want to get a certain bedding. For instance, I got my crestie a coconut dirt bedding, I do not recommended this because mine tried to eat it due to the coconut in it. I’ve learned now that it can be very lethal if they eat too much of that type. Now I choose carpet, but you also have to be careful about that because certain carpets have a low quality material and gecko pads get stuck on it. Also I recommend an auto sprayer, it’s easier for when you have to go on trips for many days and people don’t need to comeover every couple hours to spray it and instead they can focus on feeding it and caring for your crestie. Also if you feed your crestie crickets, only feed them one or maybe two a week depending on the cricket size, if they have to much they get these weird bumps on their body and from what I know it’s not healthy. Also I have made the mistake of wanting to be able to see my crestie more so I only put 1 plant in, but hiding is natural and probably makes them feed a lot more comfortable. Lastly, I don’t recommend mesh hammocks bought at pet stores, especially for hatchlings. Their delicate pads can easily get stuck in the mesh and could injure them badly. Hi there! I noticed that you didn't put springtails and isopods in the substrate, is this okay to do? I read somewhere that you would have to just keep replacing the substrate. How frequent do you have to do this without a CUC? Ty! Beautiful build btw!

I loved this build!! I absolutely need to know what what used for the background, I've been trying to find that exact cork like material for my future leopard gecko enclosure but I've only been able to find the cork bark tiles instead of the flat boards like you used.
I have 55 crested geckos. I really enjoy keeping them, they do a lot of dumb entertaining things. I have a variety of morphs but breed primarily for high contract pinstripes with drips :)

I have a couple favorite crested gecko morphs one of which I have now is the flamed crested gecko. However, I do like the dalmation morph as well and would love to have one eventually.

Thank you very much I know this video is an old one but I've decided to take action and renovate my full grown crested gecko big cage with a timed mister so I no longer have to spray the cage with a bottle bc I injured myself and adding the right layers under the soil also adding real fresh plants and a big water dish. Is there anyway u have a video on all they can eat and what's best for them to eat?

I don’t have a crested gecko but I do have a Juvenile gargoyle gecko that I haven’t named yet. I just built an 18x18x36 foam background and mounted corkbark and live planted tank. Really excited for him to grow up so he can get in there. He is a brownish blackish stripe!

i have a little baby tiger flame and boy do i love him so much he loves to run up and down my arms his personality is truly amazing even though he’s a couple months old. his name is doobie :)
I have one male crested gecko who is just leaving his juvenile state. He is a caramel brown flame with some white and black spots and ivory white underneath. I love having him but he has been having problems like retained shed and eating issues, most of the problems are solved (except for the retained shed, he won't let me take it off). Besides some issues, I run into he is one of the best things that have happened to me and I can't wait to try some of the stuff you added in your video. I love your videos and hope to see more crestie content in the future.
thanks for all the kind words and support! If your gecko is having shedding issues your humidity may be too low. Make sure its at least sitting between 60-70% :).

I was going to go with a leopard gecko. But I've found that crested geckos are much easier to care for. plus since l live florida their humidity levels and temperatures are much closer to the native land!

Do you have to do the little ball things and the mesh before the substrate or can you just put the substrate in? Also how often do you have to change the substrate and do you need springtails/isopods

I would 100% recommend doing that. I didn't for this build but if I wanted to make it more "bioactive" I can do so :).

i have a crested gecko named spyro iv had him 8 months im pretty sure he is a flame morph he is pail yellow and pail brown when he is fired up he is more of a dark brown and a orange (actually he might be brindle morph or flame not certain also he is my first ever gecko )
Have 2 male and female both are flame green crested geckos and they are adorable
