Damashi has devastated the balance of this timeline. The Tarkat plague, Jerrod's assassination, Mileena's affliction, the sorcerers and the general becoming the supervillains they were in past lives, Damashi has to be behind it all.

Nice points actually. It would be nice to see DAMASHI return in the next expansion pack. I hope he answers everything and discuss all of the points.
What a great way to introduce the new version of Shang Tsung and set up the main objective of the story. At first, I thought Kronika would come back as a mortal, and I wouldn’t mind since I liked her ever since MK11. I like the twist more, which suits the story, in my opinion. Whether MK1 ended up being multiverse or should have been a brand new self contained story, MK1 is great for what it is.

I was happy to see Kronika back in the game. I thought Kronika returned as a Titan back and it would be nice to see her vs Titan ShangTsung vs Titan LiuKang but that moulded twist of Titan ShangTsung changed everything but this twist was good too.
I think now it open's up all possibilities for the next big antagonist in the story line.
Will it be ONAGA , will it be Shao Kahn or anyone .. This will get exciting for real.

@DylanFontanez Even I thought the same but it looks like BARAKA is a different guy.
But most of the time, I still feel the old man was BARAKA in human form.
Different guy as Baraka had it for years now and this game takes place only a few months
@@superluigi5762 That's logical but we meet BARAKA later at the game, we don't know if BARAKA is the same old guy who's daughter died of TARKAT but he was resistant to it.

NRS did a great job not revealing the real antagonist in MK1. They also surprise us by revealing that both endings in MK11 are actually, canon..

I wonder why Lu Kang didn’t make the sorcerers good guys kinda like there good counterparts
@reaperbrothers5487 I think he made them good both ShangTsung and Quanchi but Titan ShangTsung made them bad.
That;s what LiuKang says in Sindel's chapter where he tells the truth that he's a Titan
Techically he is not sorcerer he is an alchemist, at least not yet. He can't even shapeshift right now. But his ending heavily implies he will get his shapeshifting ability and will become sorcerer again

Wow 😯.. that's correct though but in the reptile chapter doesn't reptile say that ShangTsung learnt Shape shifting ability from him ?
So, he learned shape shifting at that time but she didn't implemented it.
@@MikeLabsYT there are few problems with that. I don't know the conversation between him and reptile. But We never saw Shang Tsung shape shifting. And Reptile's shape shifting is very different than Shang..First he can only shapeshift into his human form, he can't copy other's appearance. How come Shang learn something from him that even Reptile himself can't do.
Second Reptile's ability is not magic it is natural. It is not something Shang can replicate. Though it might be revealed that it is unnatural. In reptile's ending it seems like someone was genetically engineering his race but we don't know with what
