I am a new convert to the Muslim Faith, and I am still learning. Everything is new for me. I am so excited when it comes to perform Wudu. I used so much water, and watching this video it takes takes the presented 1-3/4 bottles of water to complete the task. I am so impressed of how he performed wudu. I will now used this way (Swt). After I finish performing wudu, I used a hand towel or bathtowel to dry my hair, arms, face and feet. I then put on my socks to go and present my prayer of praised and worshipped to Allah (swt) Alhamdulillah.
God gave 4 simple steps through His messenger, to wash the limbs before salat (5:6). Can't use or find water? No problem. Just do a dry ablution. Problem solved. That's how easy God made it to approach the salat. Satan was not happy with this. Satan wanted everyone to have a gazillion questions, be filled with waswas, and distract people from the commemoration of God. What did he do? He inspired the Fuqaha with the rules for istinja, istijmar and the like. It is said that "tahara is half the faith". It it literally half the faith, if you consider the volume of literature dedicated to these silly topics, and the inordinate amount of time spent on it during religious education. It is all about body fluids. Feces. Urine. Blood. Vomit. Pus. Vaginal discharge. Post-natal blood. Women are forbidden from praying, fasting, touching the mushaf, entering the masjid for about a fifth of their reproductive years. Satan has found clever ways to keep people away from the worship of God. Dozens of rules on how to clean the back side. How to clean the front side. How to wipe. What stones to use. Making sure the number of stones are odd. How to determine that the body fluids are gone. The triple test to check that there are no more traces of body fluids - wash or wipe until the color, smell and taste are gone. It is said that a major reason for punishment in the grave will be based on how people cleaned their penises after peeing. Gazillion rules to confuse women on how to tell from the color of vaginal discharge whether their period is done or not. Whether spotting counts as menstrual blood or not. Waswas. Waswas. More waswas. Satan very happy.. Meanwhile, other cultures and societies have made great strides in scientific knowledge, including personal hygiene and sanitation. They have invented ways to keep their bodies, houses, streets and cities clean and sanitary. Made progress in every sphere of life, solved the most challenging problems and even sent people to space and to the moon. Meanwhile, our ulema are still stuck figuring out how to clean their backsides. They need a religious text to teach them that.

جزاكم الله خيرًا Wallah I am shocked how much water shaikh used to do wudu and there was still some left in the end , Alhamdulillah . In the beginning I was thinking there is No way he can finish Wudu with only that much water 😁. I struggle to wash my mouth with that much . Subhan-ALLAH

But Never the less we should follow the sunnah of prophet s.a w no mater where in the world we may be . There is a hadith of prophet s.a.w where Rasoolullah s.a.w said " save water even if your sitting by a running stream/River" ( Ao kama-Qaal s.a.w) .

Allah has explained very well and we don't need any external sources to explain [5:6] O you who believe, when you get up to observe the Salat, wash your faces and your arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles.
Allah swt commanded us in Quran to establish salah, my question to @mazeer Ahamad is that how will you figure out how many rakats you have to pray in your salah from Quran. Jzk

As we have here a topic of Wudu, I'd like to ask something that has been on my mind. I've been new to the Muslim faith, so still learning, I'd like to know don't people need something (towels, paper napkins) to pat dry themselves after washing?? Or, they just walk inside to do salat with wet faces and hands (and feet, if they opt to wash feet rather than just wipe them). Thank you for your answer.

Bismillah means start with the name of Allah, Then you can add all the kind of Praises or Dua . Its not restricted . Make Islam Easy . Nothing is complicated. Just make sure , you do not murder , take part in Loans with Interests that is Riba, Do not do Adultery and fornication. Do not deal with Banking that deals with Interest. Make a simple living and Enjoy and smile all the way to Jannah. Marry as early as possible , Do not wait for a Career. Our Career is Quran , Ikhlaq, Good Character . In Sahih Muslim Book 2, Number 0437: Humran, the freed slave of 'Uthman said: I saw Uthman call for a vessel (of water) and poured water over his hands three times and then washed them. Then he put his right hand in the vessel and rinsed his mouth and cleaned his nose. Then he washed his face three times and his hands up to the elbow three times; then wiped his head, then washed his feet three times. Then he said that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had said: He who performed ablution like this ablution of mine and offered two rakahs of prayer without allowing his thoughts to be distracted, all his previous sins would be expiated. Dear brother it is better to ask a question 'did Rasool Allah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam put his hand in the vessel?' rather than a statement. May Allah make us humble students.
What about the hadith on part of putting the water into the mouth while as the same time to include into the nostrils also, narrated by S Uthman Affan RA as also performed by the Prophet Pbuh ? Is the hadith not Sahih, Sheikh?
He said you can do it once, but three times is better. Suit yourself and do how many times you want. Whether its 1 or 3 its both okay. I am not educated but this is what I heard him say "once is fine, yeah. Three times is better" 11:43

@@Nasreddiin wamasahu in the verse means wipe. The actual arabic meaning is wipe not wash. I also goggled the meaning by putting in the verse there and even Google agrees it is wiping. May Allah guide you. Research yourself and do not follow anyone
As we have here a topic of Wudu, I'd like to ask something that has been on my mind. I've been new to the Muslim faith, so still learning, I'd like to know don't people need something (towels, paper napkins) to pat dry themselves after washing?? Or, they just walk inside to do salat with wet faces and hands (and feet, if they opt to wash feet rather than just wipe them).

The shaikh here mentioned to say Bismillah wa الحمدُلِ الله
Is this what the prophet pbuh said or did the prophet pbuh only say Bismillah
Bismillah means start with the name of Allah, Then you can add all the kind of Praises or Dua . Its not restricted . Make Islam Easy . Nothing is complicated. Just make sure , you do not murder , take part in Loans with Interests that is Riba, Do not do Adultery and fornication. Do not deal with Banking that deals with Interest. Make a simple living and Enjoy and smile all the way to Jannah. Marry as early as possible , Do not wait for a Career. Our Career is Quran , Ikhlaq, Good Character . All the other things are illusion and only add up for climate change.

Salam. Sura 5 V 6 tell you how to do wudu. Thats Allah sunnah.

In Sahih Muslim Book 2, Number 0437:
Humran, the freed slave of 'Uthman said: I saw Uthman call for a vessel (of water) and poured water over his hands three times and then washed them. Then he put his right hand in the vessel and rinsed his mouth and cleaned his nose. Then he washed his face three times and his hands up to the elbow three times; then wiped his head, then washed his feet three times. Then he said that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had said: He who performed ablution like this ablution of mine and offered two rakahs of prayer without allowing his thoughts to be distracted, all his previous sins would be expiated.
Dear brother it is better to ask a question 'did Rasool Allah SalAllahu alaihi wasallam put his hand in the vessel?' rather than a statement. May Allah make us humble students.
What about the hadith on part of putting the water into the mouth while as the same time to include into the nostrils also, narrated by S Uthman Affan RA as also performed by the Prophet Pbuh ? Is the hadith not Sahih, Sheikh?
