I always thought how our prophet S performed wudhu with just a small amount of water. Thanks brother to enlighten us with these great contents. May Allah bless you
و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاته Also, where possible, fill water into a jug so you can just keep to that amount. If I make wudu at a masjid or elsewhere where I don't have a jug then I'll open the tap just a little to get enough water and then turn the tap off fully. I usually use around 1L of water, alHamdulillah.
JazakALLAHu Khairan for this beneficial video..Thanks for raising awareness about the importance of using less water.. May ALLAH help us all be more like the Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w.) in the way he used water.. Aameen!
I learned something new; I've never before seen the gargle and snuff in one. I've always been shown and done 3 x gargle then followed by 3x clean nose.
So much waste at mosques in the UK. I recently was told by a friend who went to a Moroccan mosque how he got funny looks when he started doing wudhu with the tap running. Morocco is part of Africa and they more than anybody understand the valuable and scarce nature of water.
M T and if a Morrocan goes to Mauritania, he will be looked at funny for wasting water 😄 The ummah has forgotten their key for Salah. May Allah guide us. Amiin
First step toward savings is sense of measurement. Masha Allah, apt solution would be using mugs for ablution. Alternatively, in today's masjids, tap water aerators/flow restrictors with Flow rate around 0.35 GPM (approximately 1.32 litres per minute) can be used. Further, this water can again be reused for Gardening and Flushing toilets.
Our mosque has motion sensor taps, Mashallah, which conserve a lot of water. Unfortunately, this is not available everywhere. So this demonstration the best way to do it! May Allah SWT reward him!
When washing the hands(after washing the face), make sure to wash even the tip of your fingers. Stopping at the wrist is wrong. I mean, you need to wash the whole hand including the elbow and fingers. Allah knows best.
In USA people do wodu with a bucket of water and faucet are the shower faucet in some masjid. Gallon of water may be wasted while mixing hot and cold water to start wadu. There are one handle faucet which can save 80% of water but masjid use kitchen or shower faucet for wadu . It is necessary to install water saving single handle faucet or sensor faucet in all masjid.
my mom when i think of wadhu i feel like she is so good at doing wadu that she also brings a pan of water and does her wazu easily and one of her cousin sister usses about may be half of jug or less to make her wazu
one thing which is very important is that all the things the person performed three times in the wudhu can be done for one time also if you dont need to do more and you have completely washed in one time so you can skip the repeating two more times. doing every step for three times is not necessary.

It shows that we can do wudu with this much little water no need to waste so much water. It's not for that time only.. It's for now also sheikhs are doing like this
@Gha Rib I think this is the point often forgotten. Wudu is to purify yourself, not to wash yourself. The fact that we are allowed to perform tayamum in the absense of water highlights this.
There is no tricks or whatsoever. This is the Right Way to do it. The problem is many people think they are doing the right way, but its actually incorrect. Perfect your wudhu brothers and sisters.
What you mean thats against the sunnah? That is The Sunnah brother. That is the correct way to do it. Its in the authentic hadith brother. Read brothers, listen to the scholars brothers.
Yes there is difference of opinion in this. Some scholars say one mudd is around 600-650,some day 700-750 ml.Its Okay you can adopt any of these because small difference won't make a change and this matter is flexible.
i have learnt that while doing the wudhu the water should flow through each part necessary to be washed but from your demonstration it seems that the parts like arms, face and feet are only being wiped with wet hands... Is it correct or I have learnt wrong.please clarify. Jazakallahu Khair
According to me, there's 2 (or more, I'm not sure) ways, but ultimately the goal is to make sure that the water itself reaches every area of each part mentioned. One should make sure that there isn't any area that is completely untouched by water Just for extra info, how wudoo is commonly done 1. By using a tap/ river: when using a tap, the water we use is obviously running 😅, just like that of a river. So in this case, like you mentioned, water should flow through each part for, according to some online sources, at least 3 seconds 2. By using little water and rubbing the parts with our hands, like in the video. Hope it helped and wasn't too confusing 😅
@@Yuki-cd9yi But it is really confusing 🙂 which one is correct or to be followed either wiping does suffice or the 3 seconds type view. It is because generally we go for the way in which least water is used which is the case with your mentioned second view i.e wiping or wetting the body parts. Do we have any daleel for non-wiping argument?
Wiping means you hands are just wet and you move this wet hand on head. Washing is you have a amount of water in your hand you put this water on your arm now this water starts running on your arm with help of hand just immediately you move this running water on all your arm and hand. Hope you understand
650 ml 5x a day still is 3.25 litres. This is on top of any other water you use for washing. Not really saving anything, are you? Also he absolutely did NOT snort any water up his nose.
