There is a lot of hate and resentment out there of cities with a lot of economic and cultural influence like Boston, LA, San Francisco, New York and Dallas but you cannot hate and resent Kansas City. It's good to see them doing well.

Appreciate Aikman with his honest, genuine, no bs answers while also squashing the Mahomes GOAT talk that is tiring. Agree with Aikman, lots of folks jumped on the Patriots band wagon, polarizing for some, but definitely America's team. People are attracted to success and some simply loved watching Brady and good, disciplined, complimentary football. Maybe Dan was thinking of the haters because of spy/deflategate when questioning Aikman?
It's weird, he won 2 Super Bowls and lost one to Brady, also lost a conference championship to Brady, he won't be anywhere near the GOAT conversation for years. Aikman said he'll need to win 7, but losing two big games to Brady will always be there. It's not like Jordan and Lebron where they never played in a finals against each other.
Good point, Brady won their head to head battles too. IF Mahomes ever get up there in SB appearances and titles, that will probably be the deciding factor.
It’s beneficial for these celebrity athletes to come on these talk shows because it shows a more human and favorable side of these guys that we normally might not see that may change our previous opinion of them. Dan did this with Nick Saban and made him more likable and not like the gruffy guy in press conferences. Someone said Belichick should do media so the public can get to know the favorable side of him as well. Like Troy being candid.
There are realistically maybe 7-8 QBs who arent game managers in the NFL, most of these guys main jobs is to not turn the ball over and run the designed play, very few QBs can consistently produce off schedule
Dan who back in Sept was one of those who asked if BP and Mac Jones switched places would the niners be any worse and patriots be any better. No he says folks are too hard on BP. He's good enough to win the SB.
IMO a big reason American didn’t embrace patriots because of our love for Peyton Manning. Obviously the biggest reason because Belichick got caught cheating. Very close friend of mine who played on the greatest show on turf told me that the patriots knew every move they made in that superbowl .. knew the plays
