My cat has never been friendly or wanted me to hold her now she stays in my bed and wants to cuddle and sleeps with me like it’s her side of the bed .plus she has been in my closet a lot . So is that where she will have her babies

I have an adopted cat and she is small. I thought she is sick because her belly is getting bigger. Then one time while she is sleeping on my lap, I notice some movements around her belly. I am still not sure if she is pregnant until I watched this. I can see in my cat almost all symptoms that she said in this video. I’m very happy, I am a grandmother now.

Thank you for this, your videos are very well done. I just rescued a cat a couple weeks ago and I was already afraid she was pregnant, and this helped me confirm it. We did not want kittens but at least that makes me even happier we adopted her. She'll have her kittens in a safe place and then she'll be fixed like she should have been living in a home with two males, and an owner who couldn't take care of them!

Awwwwe, we had a kitty give birth right on our bed once. Literally in between my husband and I, while we were asleep. We knew she was close, she stayed sooooo close to any member of our family all day. But of course we needed to sleep! And yep- lol, that would be when she started having her babies! There was a stray that everyday will follow me to the bus stop. One day she showed up at my backward and when she saw me she began to meow. I gave her food and played with her, now she comes everyday and is really hungry. She shows up at the roof of my shed so i have to take a ladder to feed her, but lately her stomach is huge and sticks to the side, I can see her nipples and is extra affectionate so I guess I'm getting a bunch of kittens. Thanks for video.. I am going through situation with a cat I recently rescued. She was the Apartment's local cat , that has been around for a while, that a few of us fed. I could tell she's stray not feral. I meet her while walking my Yorkie, Gracie. She came up to us. They get along well & play. She had a litter in August. A neighbor took the mom & kittens in. A nesting instinct of pregnant neighbor. After kittens got older she found homes. She kept mom & 1 kitten. Never got her fixed tho. So In late Dec or early January she ran off during heat cycle. I witnessed it. It was freaky how she contoured her back.. 😟. When she returned they threw her out.. Said it was too much on their plate already. & gave her back to the streets. So now she came over begging for food & she doesn't want to be outdoor again. Especially during cold or rain. & hasn't had a heat cycle since. I am taking care of her. Idk what to do.. My plate is full too. I can foster until I can find home. My ❤ won't allow me to not care. I will look into animal agencies.

Hi Merle, It's hard to say, every cat is different. I always recommend separating the Queen and her kittens from all other cats in your house. If your Queen is around another cat and that cat is sick or carries something, it can easily transfer to the kittens simply by just sharing a litter box with another cat. It's best to give her as much privacy as possible to not only reduce stress but to reduce the chance of infection. 💜

The only thing you can do is ensure she is completely separated from a male cat during this time and to mitigate her going into heat, try not to have too much sunlight (or) bright artificial light coming in the room. It can trigger her melatonin levels which cause her to go into heat. Ask your veterinarian how soon after the babies are born you can schedule for her to be fixed. 😺💗

Hey fellow 🐈 lover ! I took in a stray cat(Callie) about 8 months ago that was pregnant when she came wondering up to my house, she gave birth to only one kitten(Cassie). I decided to keep them both and they are inseparable.. however Callie got outside about 2 months ago and ended up pregnant again.. Now that she's pregnant again she's sometimes a little moody towards Cassie, they both sleep in the bed with me but lately Callie sometimes growls at Cassie when she trys to snuggle up to her... I was hoping since Cassie is one of her kittens too that once the new kittens get here they'll all sleep and cuddle and get along together... I don't want Cassie to feel left out and be alone.. Do you know how cats normally act or react I guess in this situation??

I know it can be difficult, but even if Callie accepts her around her kittens, other cats can easily transfer viruses or infections to small kittens. Not saying Cassie has anything, but it’s just a preventative measure until the kittens are older.😺💗

My cat is also called nala! Everything you have said is exactly what my nala is going through so she must be pregnant. Me and my mum have thought this for a little while now so this clarifies it. I was in my mums room with nala earlier today and she was lay on the bed, she let me lie next to her and touch her stomach. My neighbor has a cat named nala who was pregnant so I took her to my house no idea she was pregnant (it was storming outside) so I brought her home and my mom was like omg she's pregnant and I said oh so that why she hated being held like 1 week later they picked her up 2 or 3 days later she had 3 kittens and she had "adopted kittens" because their mom got hit by a car her name was socks and I got to keep one of the kittens her name is petunia and she is currently around 7 to 8 weeks pregnant.

donnellie Hi, Donnellie! At this age it’s still a bit young, but as long as she’s atleast 80% of her adult weight, she should deliver fine. She just might not be mature enough to handle taking care of them, but every cat is so different. You will have to monitor her and make sure she is wanting to feed her kittens, etc.🥰💖

Wheeeelp. I took in a stray cat to foster back in the beginning of October. I know she's not fixed (I had scheduled an appt in December to get shots and spayed and such. This might change..), her nipples are elongated and pink, she was puking a lot in October (not anymore now!), She eats and drinks quite a bit now, she's filled in quite a bit, she's lethargic, she's EXTRA affectionate, and she drags my blankets to the corner and kneads on them. Oh boy... I think she preggy and may pop at any point. This was helpful!

my cat is pregnant rn and one day she meowed and I mean MEOWED so I started talking to her just thinking she REALLY wanted attention cuz she a snuggle bug so I meow back and she meows even louder so I am a little worried but I brushed it of so yet again I meow back again and all I hear is MMMMMEEEEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWW and then she just puked the hole bowl of food up😂😂😂😂

We did not want kittens but at least that makes me even happier we adopted her. She'll have her kittens in a safe place and then she'll be fixed like she should have been living in a home with two males, and an owner who couldn't take care of them!

I was expecting a litter of 3 or 4 but only got one. I researched pregnant cats have the ability 2 delay their labour so the rest of kittens can be born on different days. First time seein an only child(kitten) for a cat. More food and more love for the little one 🤗❤

My cat was in heat around the beginning of the month and around the end of July like around that time she got out about 1-3 times during that time so ik she won’t be showing a whole lot of signs but her belly is getting bigger (idk how to spell the correct word) and my cat has always been every affectionate but she also been knocking everything off my desk and fighting with my other cat that is a male but he’s fixed, so I’ll update next month if I see more signs
My cat always eats and somtimes she would eat so crazy she pushes the bowl😂

Awwwwe, we had a kitty give birth right on our bed once. Literally in between my husband and I, while we were asleep. We knew she was close, she stayed sooooo close to any member of our family all day. But of course we needed to sleep! And yep- lol, that would be when she started having her babies! It was a good feeling though. She was scared, and she knew to stay close to her human mama and daddy to help her along. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I wasn’t worried until my grandson told me that he had had a dream that she got pregnant & had kittens. He even described the kittens she had. I hope he isn’t a prophet. Ha ha

My cat Bobo is 9 year old. I’m almost definite she’s pregnant, all the signs are there. She’s needy and affectionate but she’s way more needy and affectionate. There was a stray that everyday will follow me to the bus stop. One day she showed up at my backward and when she saw me she began to meow. I gave her food and played with her, now she comes everyday and is really hungry. She shows up at the roof of my shed so i have to take a ladder to feed her, but lately her stomach is huge and sticks to the side, I can see her nipples and is extra affectionate so I guess I'm getting a bunch of kittens. I'm gonna put a box and some blankets for her and hope for the best! I just hope that she wants to give birth in my backward so I can take care of her and the kittens, because I don't know where she goes everyday and i'm worried for the babies. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for video.. I am going through situation with a cat I recently rescued. She was the Apartment's local cat , that has been around for a while, that a few of us fed. I could tell she's stray not feral. I meet her while walking my Yorkie, Gracie. She came up to us. They get along well & play. She had a litter in August. A neighbor took the mom & kittens in. A nesting instinct of pregnant neighbor. After kittens got older she found homes. She kept mom & 1 kitten. Never got her fixed tho. So In late Dec or early January she ran off during heat cycle. I witnessed it. It was freaky how she contoured her back.. 😟. When she returned they threw her out.. Said it was too much on their plate already. & gave her back to the streets. So now she came over begging for food & she doesn't want to be outdoor again. Especially during cold or rain. & hasn't had a heat cycle since. I am taking care of her. Idk what to do.. My plate is full too. I can foster until I can find home. My ❤ won't allow me to not care. I will look into animal agencies.

Hi Merle, It's hard to say, every cat is different. I always recommend separating the Queen and her kittens from all other cats in your house. If your Queen is around another cat and that cat is sick or carries something, it can easily transfer to the kittens simply by just sharing a litter box with another cat. It's best to give her as much privacy as possible to not only reduce stress but to reduce the chance of infection. 💜

The only thing you can do is ensure she is completely separated from a male cat during this time and to mitigate her going into heat, try not to have too much sunlight (or) bright artificial light coming in the room. It can trigger her melatonin levels which cause her to go into heat. Ask your veterinarian how soon after the babies are born you can schedule for her to be fixed. 😺💗

Hey fellow 🐈 lover ! I took in a stray cat(Callie) about 8 months ago that was pregnant when she came wondering up to my house, she gave birth to only one kitten(Cassie). I decided to keep them both and they are inseparable.. however Callie got outside about 2 months ago and ended up pregnant again.. Now that she's pregnant again she's sometimes a little moody towards Cassie, they both sleep in the bed with me but lately Callie sometimes growls at Cassie when she trys to snuggle up to her... I was hoping since Cassie is one of her kittens too that once the new kittens get here they'll all sleep and cuddle and get along together... I don't want Cassie to feel left out and be alone.. Do you know how cats normally act or react I guess in this situation??

I know it can be difficult, but even if Callie accepts her around her kittens, other cats can easily transfer viruses or infections to small kittens. Not saying Cassie has anything, but it’s just a preventative measure until the kittens are older.😺💗

Me and my mum have thought this for a little while now so this clarifies it. I was in my mums room with nala earlier today and she was lay on the bed, she let me lie next to her and touch her stomach. Normally she has been jumpy and not been too happy with us touching her belly but as she’s getting bigger she’s getting more used to it.

My neighbor has a cat named nala who was pregnant so I took her to my house no idea she was pregnant (it was storming outside) so I brought her home and my mom was like omg she's pregnant and I said oh so that why she hated being held like 1 week later they picked her up 2 or 3 days later she had 3 kittens and she had "adopted kittens" because their mom got hit by a car her name was socks and I got to keep one of the kittens her name is petunia and she is currently around 7 to 8 weeks pregnant.
Also I will update you when she has kittens (if she does) and also when shes just laying on her side and I put my hand on her stomach I can feel tiny kicks!

donnellie Hi, Donnellie! At this age it’s still a bit young, but as long as she’s atleast 80% of her adult weight, she should deliver fine. She just might not be mature enough to handle taking care of them, but every cat is so different. You will have to monitor her and make sure she is wanting to feed her kittens, etc.🥰💖

If you notice her being hormonal and trying to fight or hiss at other cats, then definitely separate her. Wheeeelp. I took in a stray cat to foster back in the beginning of October. I know she's not fixed (I had scheduled an appt in December to get shots and spayed and such. This might change..), her nipples are elongated and pink, she was puking a lot in October (not anymore now!), She eats and drinks quite a bit now, she's filled in quite a bit, she's lethargic, she's EXTRA affectionate, and she drags my blankets to the corner and kneads on them. Oh boy... I think she preggy and may pop at any point. This was helpful!
