The housing situation in Ireland is pathetic, from my perspective it does not make sense to move to a country if you can't find a decent place to live.

@@swankyshivy there is a housing crisis here, there aren't enough homes to rent or buy for the amount of people seeking accommodation. And if someone is lucky enough to find a rental property they will pay an extortionate price. That's why alot of people are homeless here.

VISA n all is not at all challenging in any countries... main challenge is getting job offer from international companies. Nobody guide clearly and give 100 % clarity on how to search job and how to get job offer.. Also all overseas employers first give preference to their own people then it comes to us after filter which has very less chances of getting job... this is the (sad) truth.
But the most important part is how to convince a company to hire you if you need sponsor. 99% of them do not sponsor visas
Exactly..and this applies for all countries where we have to go...main thing is job offer.

With or without sponsership, minimum 2 years CS job offer letter is must, After accepting job offer the individual or the company HR can apply for Work permit letter. I also applied my own work permit

Give us companies hiring international workers. Most are hiring those within the country. The CSEP is only for graduates.

2) what is the way to directly talk to owner instead of agent/broker.
3)what are the genuine websites to find rental apartments around/suburbs of dublin. we are ok even if it is 30/40 kms away from dublin.

CSEP won't be approved if your employer doesn't have More than 50% EEA employees

Why do we want to say we do not want their visa sponsorship while the system caters to such a benefit? That is the thing I do not understand! Can you clarify that?
We need to directly contact the company for job. I contacted Sigmar recruitment. They asks for Visa first.

Hi @Sarika, thanks for the content. But it seems misleading. The work permit from Ireland DETE is different and once you get it anyway you need as employment visa which is stamp 1 to enter the country.
Please give the clarity on work permits and visa, both are dependent but different

The main cause of Labor shortage in "some low skill sectors" is the fact that housing costs are among the most expansive in the world eg Rent... if you can get something to rent in the 1st place. Also food, heat, TAXES etc are among the highest in Europe. So Irish people & Europeans are leaving. Check it out before you go because otherwise unless your the new CFO of Google.. you could end up sleeping in a park, which for 9 months of the years means you die in the cold / rain, social services are not the best and as a foreigner forget about getting access to them.. Good Luck

Hi, I have a question. I only can apply for a critical skills work permit if I already have a contract with a company? I mean, if I'm already working in the company? Or can I apply if a recruiter is interested in hired me? Because, I'm a stamp 2 and I already had chats with some recruiters, but they told me that I apply first for the visa and then they'll give me a contract.

It's really hard to survive there. Most of are paid not more than 11 Euro per hr, which means you even can't manage your own expenses
One more thing need to know if you kindly tell us about living expenses with rental, food conveyance and all kinds of expenses for a single person can be (minimum). As We don't know nothing about it. Please.

Personally I really don't see any changes as UK is Skill + Expereince based market. As long as you have those skills which are in demand in the UK, you will be totally fine .

Ireland have bigger GDP per capita then Switzerland but in the same time around 2-3x lower salaries on average then in Swiss so unless you are not some Doctor,higher ingenieur ,IT expert and similar Ireland are pretty shitty overall with incomes which are on the level of countries with much lower GDP per Capita as spain or Portugal and similar
