This video is of me getting clamped in a place that I have parked for nearly 12 years with no issue until now. My son is in the back of the car crying as this is going on. I am simply trying to get me and my family safely home. In this day and age should private clamping companies really be allowed to intimidate and harass people for financial gain? Surely this cannot be allowed to go on. Had this not been recorded I hate to think what he would have done. Comment and Share please.
A friend was parked LEGALLY in a car park and when he went to leave 15 minutes before the lot closed his truck had a clamp on it. He is a volunteer firefighter and his truck has lights and all the tools he would ever need on a call out including a $7500.00 Hurst Jaws Of Life Cutter/Spreader. Took his less than 3 minutes to remove the clamp. He called the company that clamped him and waited until they arrived and he told them about their illegal activity was on multiple cameras and he then gave them the $500.00 clamp he cut up. They tried to sue him but it backfired and they lost their license. 😊

I had an old guy get mad at me and come up behind me and it felt like he was patting me down but he was full on punching me. I turn around and ask him what hes doing, and try to explain his misunderstanding with me telling someone else to shut up and he thought I was talking to him, but he was just being a prick so I told him to hit me again and see what happens, and the old bastard tried. I blocked, and he was so weak I decided not to hit him back and just wait for someone to separate him from me. Then his son the next day was bitching about how the guy went to the hospital with internal bleeding trying to make me feel bad. It gets me every time I recall it. I had a one sided fist fight with a guy and he ended up in the hospital with internal bleeding and I didn't even touch him.

The old guy was the father of one of my Bosses. I was doing truck driving for a Farm just 2 1/2 weeks for harvest. The other co-worker was another driver, and told me this stuff the next day when I told him what the old guys son was saying. This happened a few years ago. I didn't have anything against the old guy we just had a misunderstanding caused by us joking with each other and it got out of hand and he got butt hurt. I was more mad at his son for being an idiot. Sadly the old guy is dead now, Died in a car accident a year later.

Please Note: I am parked in an area that has no visible signs regarding private property or clamping. Honestly if I had been given a ticket by the correct authorities I would have paid it and been on my way. I am disputing that some random man that has nothing to do with where Im parked can just stick a clamp on and ask for €160. I do not condone parking where ever one likes, of course there has to be order. England, Scotland and Wales have banned clamping and are getting on fine. Its time it was banned in Ireland too. Private car clamping was banned in Scotland many years ago after an incident similar to this led to assault and a court case in which the judge concluded that private car clamping was theft and extortion. I believe private car clamping has recently been outlawed in England and Wales. So how does the law stand in Ireland?

True story: I had an old Rover 216 that was legally parked at my girlfriends flat in a visitor space. At the time the car wouldn’t start. I rang them and they said if I didn’t pay they would tow it away. I said Fantastic, please do, you tow it you own it, where do I send the V5 to?
After 3 days they took the clamp off. It also helped that I moaned to the estate management company. Jump started the car, got a new battery and good as gold for another 2 years! I hate clamping firms!
