Leigh you made me laugh half a pint of red wine ! What a lovely little pod for chilling in ! It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Matlock , so nice to see the views !
Me and my husband have stayed in The Anex in Clay Cross, the same lady who owns these little cabins. The Anex was really cosy, we went around winter and it was lovely. I love going to Derbyshire, I live in Norfolk and its so flat around here, whereas Derbyshire way is so hilly and cute little places to visit!x
We live 15mins from stretton farm shop yet never been, we plan on going this week as it looked quaint for a nice drink and cake. Enjoyed your trip to Matlock mad hatters is always a great place to visit. x
That pod was super cute… I really love how you take us along with you to all these little quirky places… people like me never even knew about half these places and things you can do… I’ve learned a lot …..Ty guys ❤️❤️
We live just outside Matlock, Mad Hatters did the most amazing dessert box during lock down when places could only offer take away, it was one of the few nice things in lock down!
I laughed out loud when Nick mentioned Horace Goes Skiing! Have you guys ever thought about joining Twitch and streaming your favourite games occasionally? Would be awesome, I remember you both play COD 2.
Loved this ,, ! Tranquil and quite romantic really . It’s a pity you didn’t take more stuff to eat . Better too much than not enough . Nice day in Matlock . Every day is best 😍
I think that Cabin would keep me awake all night a proper rough weekend sleep in a small bed lol Thanks for showing it though on your channel as it has given me more of a idea on what to expect.
They are both local to me - so glad you liked - Mad Hatters is a lovely place - you should have popped into Chesterfield, cafes galore and lots of history
Glad you enjoyed Matlock, I live about 30 mins away. If you google it you will see that when we had all the horrid weather a bit ago the park and surrounding area (where hatters is) was under water 💧 and it’s happened twice in a short time. The castle that you mentioned is called Riber castle and yrs ago it used to be a zoo (had many a trip there with the fam and school) it ended up closing due to it not being very nice it’s now where people live. The long hill you drove up on the vlog is called slack hill and it’s a nightmare in bad weather, it’s a pity you didn’t visit Chesterfield home of the crooked spire and cobbled streets.
Ooh you’re in my neck of the woods, 15 mins from my house. Mad hatters is lush! We often get the train there from Belper, Matlock bath seems to be known as the seaside with no sea! Lol crazy birds too!
Would recommend taking a little fan heater in the van with you. It does get very cold in the night. The loft bed used to be absolutely freezing. We had to get an electric blanket for that bed 😂. No one would sleep up there without it.
What a cute place to stay! I would have loved to see a pic of you two snuggled together in the bed. Clothed of course! Can't wait for van camping with the girls. ❤️
Great vlog guys... Hi nick and Leigh... Hope your both keeping well!... In the last month... I have stayed in Pod1... And... The Annex... Both really great properties... On Stretton Hall Farm... Julie the owner is really lovely and friendly... Matlock looked a great place to visit... Keep enjoying your travels... 💖...
No Way Clay Cross thats my Neck of the woods these days Tesco where you went is sometimes where I go to & to Matlock been there next time your in town guys we most have a Coffee or a Beer Good Vlog until next time guys take care
Matlock looks lovely 😍 definitely going to visit soon! We don’t live too far from Buxton & Bakewell so I don’t think it’s a million miles from here 🤔…. Love the little glamping pod too ❤️ great vlog as always xx
Oh my gosh, these tiny homes look like the perfect little getaway!! Im the same as you Leigh, I really struggle to switch off, especially where work is concerned. I'm so glad you managed to though, and I think half a pint of wine should become a new measurement haha!
I like the idea of getting away from it all with no TV and internet. I’d happily chill and read. My husband however would probably go crazy without internet, his PS5 and social media 😂
The pod you stayed in is very similar to the glamming pod business my sister, has in Scotland but hers are bigger, have a TV & a log burner They are also expanding next year & getting 3 more pods but these will have hot tubs as well Loving the vlogs by the way
And here I always thought of Matlock as a legal drama starring Andy Griffith - I didn’t know it was an English country town as well! It looks very picturesque. And I’m not sure Nick would be able to survive if there was a toasted currant teacake shortage!
Hello Leigh and Nick... You both are awesome and I love you how silly you are to each other. My husband has IBS as well. What is your best advice on how to deal with it and food to stay away from? Thank you so much ❣️. Stay cool and safe....
That’s a mega pint!
Leigh you made me laugh half a pint of red wine ! What a lovely little pod for chilling in ! It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Matlock , so nice to see the views !
Wow matlock is a beautiful place! Thanks for taking us along.
Great to see you both testing out this lifestyle prior to going on the Camper trip . Matlock looked very interesting x
Looks like a lovely little pod for a get-away. There's a loads of glamping places in Northumberland ideal for chilling and star gazing

love staying in farm or countryside settings , hot tub is nice , glamping. needs to have a decent size bed
Nice to see you visiting Matlock. The castle on the hill was Riber Castle and it used to have a zoo when we were growing up in the 60/70s.
Matlock Bath has always been popular with bikers . My Dad and his brothers used to ride their bikes from Runcorn when he was younger. He’s 96.
Love the accompanying music - beautiful ☺️

Leigh, it was hilarious to see you relaxing with a half pint of Red Wine. Hope it helped you wind down and settle your mind x

Welcome to my neck of the woods. I usually have a pint of Blue Moon at the back of the mad hatter. Pauline said hello.
Matlock looks lovely 😍 definitely going to visit soon! We don’t live too far from Buxton & Bakewell so I don’t think it’s a million miles from here 🤔…. Love the little glamping pod too ❤️ great vlog as always xx

Matlock is beautiful we stopped at a lovely glamping site on a farm
You guys should create a travel check list of supplies, so you will always know what you are bringing on each vacation trip.
Your Lodge on your lake is nicer than a Pod in a field.
I like the idea of getting away from it all with no TV and internet. I’d happily chill and read. My husband however would probably go crazy without internet, his PS5 and social media 😂
Been following you for years always brilliant but the pod was amazing - Kevin & Cyndy
Awww what a lovely cosy little place to stay I love them you looked very chilled Leigh sat drinking your red wine 🍷 😀 x
The place you went reminds me a lot of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Nice One Guys .Looks Like A Fab Place Too Go,"STAY SAFE" Guys
👍
Those pods look so cosy ideal for a weekend away.Nicks pancakes my goodness , great share guys 🙂👍
So nice to see you somewhere close to me, we are just half and hour from Matlock its a lovely part of Derbyshire
Who needs tv when you can just look into each other’s eyes and dream?
I'm glad you both enjoyed a relaxing evening away. Those pods remind me of the bomb shelter from Grease 2.
The pod you stayed in is very similar to the glamming pod business my sister, has in Scotland but hers are bigger, have a TV & a log burner

Beautiful countryside

That part of Matlock is very susceptible to flooding when it rains heavily, hence the boulders in front of that house on the river.
Have you 2 not heard of Tupperware 🤦🏻♂️😂
The rock bags are there because there was flooding a couple of months back
Nick is a Tech Man. He prefers to wind down with a good movie & gin with a chocolate bar or two x
half a pint.. lol. Leigh, you didnt seem too thrilled with the tiny pod. lol
Don't know how you both managed to sleep in that little bed. I'd definitely have my husband sent outside lol
Was that bath mat in your pod Winnie the Pooh?!? xx
Hello Leigh and Nick... You both are awesome and I love you how silly you are to each other. My husband has IBS as well. What is your best advice on how to deal with it and food to stay away from? Thank you so much ❣️. Stay cool and safe....
Class 1/2 pint of 🍷 red wine
“Very rude indeed “
😂😆
Wish I'd have known I'm literally 15 mins away
What is this Blue moon drink you speak of?
The best Beer
