Buddy was the favorite of Guitar Players: BECK, SRV, HENDRIX, Clapton, Page, Jorma Kaukonen & more like Bloomfield (& that says it all)! Only after THE VID (2021) was he slowing down & overworking in his own 80s. This is a good one; basically 'til he was hairless - he was a ripping Great - not just Good- Player. Jeez fantastic shows! Like a fair or carnival game: 'Whack-A-Mole' as i or a dozen others in the crowd were jolted up outta our seats at different times as each one was studying a Solo, series of Leads like lightning bolts. The Best of Blues-Rock & the only block was in education for the Lyrical content
Buddy was " cray cray " back in his suit n tie days too when he played live in front of an audience . Can anyone recommend any Buddy Guy album or studio recordings compilation ? I figure he isn't screwin around so much in the studio . please any and all replies !
Bring 'em In is a 2005 album that is fantastic. Check that one out. Tracks 1, 3 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11*, are especially great. Track 1 Now You're Gone, and track 11 Cut You Loose are my personal favorites from the album. Just a great album.
