Hello, Jeff. I haven't used Bitwig for quite some time now. It's a great DAW, for sure. But the more I used it, I just had problems getting into the browser(especially after they changed it) and the small instruments/effects in the device panel. I had major issues getting into the drum machine as well because of how small it is and using it. And one of the things I love to do is create entire songs in a drum machine. Impact just works better for me in this regard by a long shot. I also prefer the MIDI/pattern editor window in Studio One. It's really just a matter of personal preference and what type of UI you prefer and workflow you prefer. I also like the UI changes that have been made in Studio One over the last year, or so. It looks refreshed and I love being able to customize what tools/buttons I see with the new customization option. One major thing that turned me away from Studio One is the - what I consider to be - shady tactics that Presonus is using to push people into subscriptions/get more money. But, I've now pushed the politics out of my mind and am just focused on teaching and using the DAW that works best for me. I'd love to like the company that makes the DAW I use, but that's just not possible and I've come to terms with it. I just want to teach and make music in a DAW that I like. Sorry for the long response but there was no way for me to answer your question in a brief manner. I would recommend not paying attention to me, or any of the other 'noise' that you see online with people complaining. Just use the one that feels the best to you when you are working in it. Don't pay attention to anything else. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for supporting the channel.
@@quantaaudio hey, really appreciate the lengthy response - no apologies needed!:) yeah I’m in a bit of Daw lingo myself. I too love Bitwig on many levels but am becoming frustrated with some of its limitations (it’s like the genius kid in math who can do crazy calculations in his head and amaze everyone - but hasn’t figured out how to effectively tie his shoes yet lol). Been flirting with Reaper which instantaneously solves the political problems surrounding other daws (inexpensive, can use forever freely if desired, great community etc). It’s definitely been satisfying my yen for a more traditionally linear daw after Bitwig. But: think I’m going through a bit of S1 nostalgia. And honestly it DOES look slick (far more of a selling point to me than splice integration, stem separation etc). Anyway, always enjoy your tuts and will certainly check in for more if I return to S1 (for however long). 😊✌🏼
You can just use the blue send level fader as I show in this video. Changing the send level using this blue fader does not affect the level of your tracks.

Considering to switch from Pro Tools to Studio One. Grateful for the video as it'll help in the transition.
It's e of my favorite channels. I remember when you started with no followers. You’ve been all around the world and back and still teaching. ❤
Hey, MB. Thanks for your support of the channel over the years. Hope all is well with you!
Thanks. You do a lot for the music community.
Appreciate it. Thanks for supporting the channel.
Thank you! Very helpful video!!
Hey Quanta - would love to use your S1 color palette. Is there a way to save it out and distribute it?
Hello, Is this theme available for Studio one in Persons Exchange? Amazing Video. Thanks for doing this:)
I like your colors! Are they somewhere available?
Shoot me an email and I'll send you the preset file for the color palette.
Thanks great !
Hey Quanta: good to see you again. Are you still on Bitwig, or back to S1? Or both? Curious to get your impressions on the pros and cons

Is there a way to bounce the “Apple binaural renderer” to send to the client? Or is it monitoring only?
What's up Q...great video. Enjoy the tutorials...now, if I could only apply them. lol. How is everything in V?
Hey, SB. Glad you dug the video. I'm actually in Malaysia now! Haha.
@@quantaaudio Yea man, always enjoy your vids... Oh boy! How is Malaysia? Gonna meet you in Thailand one of these days...lol
How can I change thee amount of an effect that I have on multiple track insert sends (like reverb) without effecting the volume of the track or tracks
You can just use the blue send level fader as I show in this video. Changing the send level using this blue fader does not affect the level of your tracks.
