ooh that's a beautiful song! it sounds like the recording on the album was done with harp, but the live recording is with guitar. I'd love to do this one, I'll see if I can find the time!
This tutorial was a life saver. A streamer friend of mine was wanting to learn this live, so I found your video to help. The chord voicing was *PERFECT*. It allowed her to cheer me up after a horrendous weekend. Bless you for this❤️
Thank you very much, i’ve never thought i could find a tutorial for this song and it’s a very good one. All the details you give help a lot. Thank you !!! 😍
Amazing tutorial! Thank you so much! I've been playing uke for a few years now and this Song (and your tutorial) make me want to practice Guitar now! Definitely gonna try this!
Thank you Noah!! I thought it was some weird tuning that was the trick. And then it's so much easier :) That open G-string is so genius, typical Dodie. Similar to Guiltless, also so cool and so easy to play: Well done!! What happend to OG's Pretending? ;:) And of course I'm subbing :)
My wrist is burning and becoming stiff to a point that it's painful to move it haha, I don't think that's good. Anyone have any tips about how I can position my hand over the fretboard?
ah that's not nice! try to take breaks regularly and warm up a bit before you play so blood can get to your wrist and fingers. it might help to try to bend your elbow/shoulder more instead of just bending your wrist when playing these chords (and make sure your arm/shoulder/neck are not too tense, everything is connected!), or to play the lowest note with your thumb instead of your pointer finger if you can. it could also be your guitar though; if the strings are too thick or too far from the fretboard playing can hurt a lot, so you could have it looked at if you want. i hope this helped and good luck!
you are completely right! there is an Fsus2 there! i missed that one haha, thank you for telling me. you can play it by moving the same shape up to the eighth fret!
You're legitimately such a good teacher by the way
