I luv Sunny! She's not my bias but she's my wrecker. And imho she's not forgotten at all in snsd. She might not be as active as the other members but it looks to me like she still has a huge following and is much luvved to this day, and is also mentioned a lot by many reacters and snsd content creators.
"Beep Beep" is one of SNSD's Japanese songs, so that is why it isn't on SM's channel. (Moshi moshi is Hello in Japanese, so they are talking on the phone saying, hello.) Most Japanese MVs are either uploaded by their Japanese production companies or by a Japanese fan, because Japanese songs weren't typically promoted outside of Japan at that time.
Also back in the day, Japanese MVs would only be released as 'short version', just over a minute long, to make people buy the album and stop downloading. I remember being so mad when the songs would be cut off halfway

Genie live performances are a treat, in my opinion. Tiffany (the girl who sings the 'DJ put it back on' line) would use the name of the city they are performing instead (e.g. Chicago, Tokyo etc.) Their live performances in general are better than studio even.

Sunny and Yuri use to be on a KBS show called Invincible Youth. It's pretty much how I was introduced to Kpop. It had 7 Kpop artist from different groups living on a farm. Somewhat like the Surreal Life but with more charming characters. It's still on UA-cam and worth the watch. Sunny was super cute and cheesy on that show. Other idols were Hyuna from 4mimute, Hara from Kara, a member from T-ara, a member from Secret and Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls. One of my favorite episodes was when Minho visited the show. Totally hilarious.
as someone who never got into the current era of kpop (nothing against it, my interest to keep up with new groups and new releases just faded over time), it always makes me so happy to watch new reactions of people appreciating groups from "my time" as a fan. Girls' Generation's "Gee" and "Genie" were both released in 2009, 2 years after their debut. As you can see, "Gee" has a pretty simple story. How I interpreter it is the girls are mannequins in a clothing store that come to life after store hours when no one is watching. Kind of like if you have ever seen the 1980s movie called "Mannequin". They all have a crush on the handsome young store manager, who is played by Minho from SHINee, who had just turned 17 about a month before "Gee" was released. The girls are tired of being trapped in the store and one night they decide to escape. Minho comes back in the morning and discovers that the mannequins are missing, but I guess he isn't too concerned because he is employee of the month and he is on cloud nine because the girls all kissed his picture. (There's a reason why Miho is SNSD's favorite boy in real life. You should check out a video all about how Minho is SNSD's favorite younger brother.) There is no deep story there, it's exactly what you see. :D On a side note: SHINee is SNSD's juniors, and they debuted a year after Girls' Generation. As label mates they often are featured in each others' MVs. As you have seen, Jessica, a member of SNSD, also was in SHINee's "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" MV in 2013. Just like SHINee made colored skinny jeans a thing for guys back then, SNSD's "Gee" made colored skinny jeans a thing for girls.

In terms of facial features, Hyoyeon and Sunny are definitely easier to recognize, besides their already distinct voices. Taeyeon is pretty easy for people to spot because of her voice. The one you liked in The Boys (with tons of sass) is Sooyoung, she’s also pretty easy to spot because she’s the tallest out of all of them. If someone is speaking English, chances are it’s either Tiffany or Jessica since they’re the fluent speakers of the group, though Tiffany’s voice is huskier than Jessica’s. The one you liked in Lion Heart and Party from the other video was Tiffany. Seohyun, Yuri, and Yoona are harder for newer fans to differentiate, hence the reason why they’re called the “Bermuda Triangle”. Noticing them apart will just take time and being exposed to them long enough.

"Beep Beep" was my ringtone for a long while 😅 And "Genie" was the song that seriously got me into k-pop in like 2011. I heard Taeyeon's Adlibs towards the end, and was like "Hmmm, maybe there is something to this K-pop thing after all..." After all this time it's still my favorite K-pop song of all time, (probably because it holds such a special place in my heart).
If you want to find Tiffany, pay attention to who has the most natural sounding English lines. Tiffany’s a CA girl. In Genie for instance, her iconic line is “DJ put it back on”.

On a side note: SHINee is SNSD's juniors, and they debuted a year after Girls' Generation. As label mates they often are featured in each others' MVs. As you have seen, Jessica, a member of SNSD, also was in SHINee's "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" MV in 2013.

"Gee" and "Genie" are two of SNSD's most famous songs and they are probably one of the most well-known Kpop girl group songs of all time. If you ask anyone around the world if they know any Kpop songs, at least one of the songs they will mention, and probably do the dance too, is "Gee" or "Genie." They are so well known that pretty much every group in the industry, both girl groups and boy groups, know this song and dance and probably have even done a cover performance at least once in their career. For example, if you have ever seen boy groups doing girl group dances, then I am sure you have probably seen them dance to "Gee." It's pretty much the go to song.

In terms of facial features, Hyoyeon and Sunny are definitely easier to recognize, besides their already distinct voices. Taeyeon is pretty easy for people to spot because of her voice. The one you liked in The Boys (with tons of sass) is Sooyoung, she’s also pretty easy to spot because she’s the tallest out of all of them. If someone is speaking English, chances are it’s either Tiffany or Jessica since they’re the fluent speakers of the group, though Tiffany’s voice is huskier than Jessica’s. The one you liked in Lion Heart and Party from the other video was Tiffany. Seohyun, Yuri, and Yoona are harder for newer fans to differentiate, hence the reason why they’re called the “Bermuda Triangle”. Noticing them apart will just take time and being exposed to them long enough.

- Gee came out in January 2009, so Minho had just turned 17 the month before (internationally).
- Beep Beep was released digitally in 2012, but the full MV didn't come out till late 2013.
- The boys (2011) - yes you got Hyoyeon right. Since you loved this one, please check out the English remixed version they performed on Letterman (even better choreo and they kill it live vocally despite multiple members being sick at the time).
- Genie was 2009 so they look young, but I think this was their first somewhat more mature concept.
