About 'Forever 1' MV,First,a group of soloists, musical artists, actresses, djs, hosts, businesswomen, endorsers, ambasadresses, chefs, authors, etc. to have all these successful individuals in one group is beyond incredible. Secondly,At the time,I'm literally crying watching the MV. Been a sone since 2010 and I’m so happy to see them together again. And also the line distribution and vocals, my god! And you can also notice on the video their individual career. Happy 15th Anniversary to the Queens and the k-pop legendary Girl Group! 【Btw:During the bridge, they sampled Into The New World and used the iconic melody in the background ㅠㅠㅠㅠ goosebumpsssss😭 Do you know that the trophy represents that they’re up until now are the only girl group that ever won both digital and physical disk daesang at the same time in GDA】🤩😄❤ Also the album 'Forever 1' is a masterpiece and you shouldn't miss it! That is why in 2018 the group formed the sub-unit Oh!GG with the 5 members who are still with SM -- Taeyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon -- and released the song and MV "Lil' Touch." "Forever 1" is a fulfillment of the promise that they would be back and that they would still continue to be a close-knit group no matter where life took them. Girls Generation ballads are so good! Complete, forever, not alone, devine, Girls, promise... I can go forever, their voices go so well together and just bring so much emotion to the songs and thats why my favorites are always the ballads.
Forever 1 is the title track for their 7th studio album of the same name. SNSD released the album to commemorate the group's 15th anniversary since their debut in 2007. Forever 1 is SNSD's first music release in five years, following their 5-year hiatus after the release of their sixth studio album Holiday Night in 2017. The MV of Forever 1 is like a representation of the individual career of the members and what they did during their 5 -year hiatus. Taeyeon as a soloist, Sunny as a celebrity (she hosted many TV shows), Tiffany as a soloist (she went back to the USA to release songs there), Hyoyeon as a soloist and DJ, Yuri as a model although she's also an actress now, Sooyoung as an actress, Yoona as an actress and Seohyun as an actress (but I think for this MV, she's a musical actress). About the lyrics, I think it contains the things that they want to tell the fans. Also, they want to let us know that SNSD and Sones are forever one and that SNSD is forever although they are currently prioritizing their individual career. Actually, we were just hoping that they would release a song with MV to celebrate their 15th anniversary because we know how busy they are with their individual career that's why everyone went crazy when it was announced that they were gonna release a full album with promotions (performing at music shows, appearance on variety, radio, and UA-cam shows) and their own variety show called Soshi Tamtam. Their determination and commitment to do all that were unimaginable and amazing, given that some of the members were also busy with their own careers during the comeback. Anyway, I hope you'll react to the Forever 1 album in the future. As for Lil Touch, the song was not promoted at all. They just released the MV and that's it. No appearance on music shows and no dance practice video. Until now, Sones didn't see the whole choreography for that song. SNSD ballads are special and different because of their vocals, adlibs, high notes, and harmonization.
The two members whose names you are still 'missing' are Yoona (the one you remarked had a great "body-line") , and Yuri (you remarked on her outfit) during 'Lil Touch. It was Hyoyeon who named the sub-unit 'Oh!GG'. "Oh" is the pronunciation of the Hangul number "five", and GG is of course "Girls' Generation". "TaeTiSeo/TTS", comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun is the other official SNSD sub-unit, which seems to have been inspired in-part after Tiffany and Taeyeon's concert performance of the 'Moulin Rouge' version of Patti Labelle's 'Lady Marmalade'. I've always been a huge fan of the original ( and, incredibly, was able to say so to Patti Labelle herself in 1977 when by random chance we ended-up sharing a table while having breakfast in a hotel in Bahrain!), but although the Moulin Rouge version has a IMHO a great Missy Elliot 'rap' that is artfully added to the original, both Mya and Lil' Kim are crappy performers in this musical genre, and IMHO a drag on the overall performance...it should have been just Christine Aguillera and Pink. "Taeny's" version is IMHO simply the BEST performance of 'Lady Marmalade" there has ever been ( sorry, Patti) . There is also an "unofficial" SNSD sub-unit, called ""SHY" comprised of Sooyoung, Hyoyeon and Yuri, which they 'formed' as a joke counterpart to TTS (with encouragement from Tiffany) and then actually committed to the joke in-concert, most notably performing "Push It" by 'Salt 'n Pepa'. Anyway, 'TTS' is STILL the most commercially successful and most artistically awarded Korean girl group sub-unit ever formed. I think it's worth noting that although SNSD 'lost' their 'co-main vocalist' Jessica in 2014 and then had lyricist and dancer Sooyoung, and Lead Vocalists Tiffany and Seohyun end their contracts with SM in 2017, SNSD was NOT disbanded by SM, nor did the members themselves decide to disband~~as would-have, and has happened, with other groups. IMHO by 2013, SNSD had ceased to be an SM 'product' and instead had become their own entity and a de-facto "national treasure"; not just SONE, but a huge proportion of the general Korean population would have been seriously distraught if SM had "disbanded' SNSD ( When Jessica got the boot, SM stock value immediately dropped 16%, so imagine what would happen if SM disbanded SNSD in 2017, after recovering from that!). SNSD are successful and famous for so many good reasons, and one of those is their "harmony"...not just in singing, but their personal; harmony with each other, and with the Korean population in general. In this, I think, they are absolutely unique. Well done on finally, after a little hesitation, distinguishing Yuri and Seohyun ( the maknae)...yes, the cheeks help to distinguish them, but as every SONE knows, Seohyun's very pointy elbows are also a particular feature of hers ( speaking of which, elbows are also a fascination of Sunny's, your obvious bias). Sooyoung has indeed never been blond until Forever 1, while Hyoyeon has been blond for many more years than she's had brown or black hair. Though Sunny has worn various dyed wigs, she has also dyed her own hair many times in many different colors. I'll end this lengthy comment by saying that I encountered the members of SNSD first (in 2019) by discovering the 2016 Korean variety/reality series 'Sisters' Slam Dunk' and being intrigued as to who cast member Tiffany REALLY was~~my first impression was that she was just a pretty, bubbly 'flavor of the month' pop singer, but I quickly discovered how wrong I was. While I continued watching that show, I also began watching 'Girls Go To School' which cleverly chronicles SNSD's official debut preparations while also working to perform on the established 'guerilla concert' series "School of Rock", as well as searching out early interviews and 'viewable radio' appearances. In that first month of chronologically exploring SNSD content, Sooyoung quickly became my 'bias', but as I continued my journey I'd get 'wrecked' by another member for some reason, actually many reasons, and pretty quickly determined that my 'bias' was simply ALL OF THEM.
It took me longer to recognize their basic independence from SM, but when you pointed it out, it immediately made sense, and I will try to acknowledge it whenever I point it out to others in the future, Thank you! Steve P.

Oh!GG is a subunit of 5 members who is still under SM - Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyo, Yuri and Yoona. And Lil Touch was going to be Yuri solo song at first. You seems to struggle only with bermuda triangle - Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun(maknae), but seems to notice their visuals in this video. "Forever 1" was their 15th anniversary comeback and their previous comeback with "Holiday"/"All Night" was for their 10th anniversary. It took them 5 years not just because they are under multiple labels now and it's challenging to organize, but also because it's just really hard to get all them members together at the same time. They are probably the busiest group "on hiatus" you can possibly find and they can be harder to follow than some of the currently promoting groups because of that. Sooyoung's blond/black hair situation wasn't intentional. She just wanted to do something fun for the comeback but she had movie/drama filming and promotions lined up and had to change her hair back before the MV filming was completed. Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun also had multiple acting jobs going. Yuri had to skip sleep entirely at some point. Taeyeon had a busy year with GOT the Beat, "Can't Control Myself" and "INVU" MVs and all the full album promos, Killing Voice, Queendom 2 MC gig and weekly Amazing Saturday show. It's almost a miracle that they managed to pull off that group comeback at all.

Taeyeon as a soloist, Sunny as a celebrity (she hosted many TV shows), Tiffany as a soloist (she went back to the USA to release songs there), Hyoyeon as a soloist and DJ, Yuri as a model although she's also an actress now, Sooyoung as an actress, Yoona as an actress and Seohyun as an actress (but I think for this MV, she's a musical actress). About the lyrics, I think it contains the things that they want to tell the fans. Also, they want to let us know that SNSD and Sones are forever one and that SNSD is forever although they are currently prioritizing their individual career.
Actually, we were just hoping that they would release a song with MV to celebrate their 15th anniversary because we know how busy they are with their individual career that's why everyone went crazy when it was announced that they were gonna release a full album with promotions (performing at music shows, appearance on variety, radio, and UA-cam shows) and their own variety show called Soshi Tamtam. Their determination and commitment to do all that were unimaginable and amazing, given that some of the members were also busy with their own careers during the comeback. Anyway, I hope you'll react to the Forever 1 album in the future.
As for Lil Touch, the song was not promoted at all. They just released the MV and that's it. No appearance on music shows and no dance practice video. Until now, Sones didn't see the whole choreography for that song.
SNSD ballads are special and different because of their vocals, adlibs, high notes, and harmonization.

The two members whose names you are still 'missing' are Yoona (the one you remarked had a great "body-line") , and Yuri (you remarked on her outfit) during 'Lil Touch.
It was Hyoyeon who named the sub-unit 'Oh!GG'. "Oh" is the pronunciation of the Hangul number "five", and GG is of course "Girls' Generation".
"TaeTiSeo/TTS", comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun is the other official SNSD sub-unit, which seems to have been inspired in-part after Tiffany and Taeyeon's concert performance of the 'Moulin Rouge' version of Patti Labelle's 'Lady Marmalade'. I've always been a huge fan of the original ( and, incredibly, was able to say so to Patti Labelle herself in 1977 when by random chance we ended-up sharing a table while having breakfast in a hotel in Bahrain!), but although the Moulin Rouge version has a IMHO a great Missy Elliot 'rap' that is artfully added to the original, both Mya and Lil' Kim are crappy performers in this musical genre, and IMHO a drag on the overall performance...it should have been just Christine Aguillera and Pink. "Taeny's" version is IMHO simply the BEST performance of 'Lady Marmalade" there has ever been ( sorry, Patti) .
There is also an "unofficial" SNSD sub-unit, called ""SHY" comprised of Sooyoung, Hyoyeon and Yuri, which they 'formed' as a joke counterpart to TTS (with encouragement from Tiffany) and then actually committed to the joke in-concert, most notably performing "Push It" by 'Salt 'n Pepa'.
Anyway, 'TTS' is STILL the most commercially successful and most artistically awarded Korean girl group sub-unit ever formed.
I think it's worth noting that although SNSD 'lost' their 'co-main vocalist' Jessica in 2014 and then had lyricist and dancer Sooyoung, and Lead Vocalists Tiffany and Seohyun end their contracts with SM in 2017, SNSD was NOT disbanded by SM, nor did the members themselves decide to disband~~as would-have, and has happened, with other groups.
IMHO by 2013, SNSD had ceased to be an SM 'product' and instead had become their own entity and a de-facto "national treasure"; not just SONE, but a huge proportion of the general Korean population would have been seriously distraught if SM had "disbanded' SNSD ( When Jessica got the boot, SM stock value immediately dropped 16%, so imagine what would happen if SM disbanded SNSD in 2017, after recovering from that!).
SNSD are successful and famous for so many good reasons, and one of those is their "harmony"...not just in singing, but their personal; harmony with each other, and with the Korean population in general. In this, I think, they are absolutely unique.
Well done on finally, after a little hesitation, distinguishing Yuri and Seohyun ( the maknae)...yes, the cheeks help to distinguish them, but as every SONE knows, Seohyun's very pointy elbows are also a particular feature of hers ( speaking of which, elbows are also a fascination of Sunny's, your obvious bias).
Sooyoung has indeed never been blond until Forever 1, while Hyoyeon has been blond for many more years than she's had brown or black hair. Though Sunny has worn various dyed wigs, she has also dyed her own hair many times in many different colors.
I'll end this lengthy comment by saying that I encountered the members of SNSD first (in 2019) by discovering the 2016 Korean variety/reality series 'Sisters' Slam Dunk' and being intrigued as to who cast member Tiffany REALLY was~~my first impression was that she was just a pretty, bubbly 'flavor of the month' pop singer, but I quickly discovered how wrong I was. While I continued watching that show, I also began watching 'Girls Go To School' which cleverly chronicles SNSD's official debut preparations while also working to perform on the established 'guerilla concert' series "School of Rock", as well as searching out early interviews and 'viewable radio' appearances. In that first month of chronologically exploring SNSD content, Sooyoung quickly became my 'bias', but as I continued my journey I'd get 'wrecked' by another member for some reason, actually many reasons, and pretty quickly determined that my 'bias' was simply ALL OF THEM.
It took me longer to recognize their basic independence from SM, but when you pointed it out, it immediately made sense, and I will try to acknowledge it whenever I point it out to others in the future, Thank you!

You got all the names right! In Forever1 maknae Seohyun is in the pink dress, Yuri the black pearl is the darkest one and OG center Yoona starts the song and has the scene with the monster thing.

Forever1 was a 15th anniversary comeback after 5 years of hiatus, which took then almost 3 years to do. But they did full album, promotion, fanmeet and variety show on top of personal projects which was a bless for SONEs.
Sooyoung change hair color because of acting jobs, but also it feels like different eras of SNSD. And actually as now SNSD has 5 actresses, Tiffany joined acting line last year.
Oh!GG is a subunit of 5 members who is still under SM - Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyo, Yuri and Yoona. And Lil Touch was going to be Yuri solo song at first.
You seems to struggle only with bermuda triangle - Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun(maknae), but seems to notice their visuals in this video.

"Forever 1" was their 15th anniversary comeback and their previous comeback with "Holiday"/"All Night" was for their 10th anniversary. It took them 5 years not just because they are under multiple labels now and it's challenging to organize, but also because it's just really hard to get all them members together at the same time. They are probably the busiest group "on hiatus" you can possibly find and they can be harder to follow than some of the currently promoting groups because of that. Sooyoung's blond/black hair situation wasn't intentional. She just wanted to do something fun for the comeback but she had movie/drama filming and promotions lined up and had to change her hair back before the MV filming was completed. Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun also had multiple acting jobs going. Yuri had to skip sleep entirely at some point. Taeyeon had a busy year with GOT the Beat, "Can't Control Myself" and "INVU" MVs and all the full album promos, Killing Voice, Queendom 2 MC gig and weekly Amazing Saturday show. It's almost a miracle that they managed to pull off that group comeback at all.

I remember watching Lil' Touch first time and being star struck by Yoona's beauty.
Forever 1 was super significant because it was their first comeback TOGETHER after some members left SM. So after 5 years, they came back together saying they are forever 1!!!!!!

Girls' Generation's singing in the ballad song, which overlaps one after another, is extremely beautiful and overwhelming, and of course their unison is also beautiful! It's strange that everyone has a unique singing voice! It is very significant that 'Time Machine' was released in Japan after the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Girls' Generation is a rare existence that appeals to the audience by making various kinds of music their own. Talent like The Beatles, not the Rolling Stones.

Fun fact about Sunny’s hair. For the music video and promotional material for The Boys, she wore a blonde wig, but decided it was too much to keep putting a wig on everyday, so she cut her hair at the beginning of The Boys promotions. For about a week it was still brown before she bleached it. You can see the progression through the first few episodes of Invincible Youth season 2.
