Nicely done, Stewart. Hey, you’re wearing a shirt from 6:50 Santa Monica, CA, USA. That’s nearby. You’d better not come out here without letting me know!
Stewart good seeing you again. I really enjoyed this video. Kudos to the wife for good videography. First thing I noticed was your backpack. I have exactly the same one. Second thing was your t-shirt. I live about 40 minutes from Santa Monica. I love your printed cards and flash setup. Thanks for putting out great content. You are a fantastic creator. - Jim
Yes thoroughly enjoyed it and waiting pensivley for the next one. No apologise for the future repeats as revision is always good , especially with my memory.😂🤣Thanks and lot more walks.
The insects over there are so calm and docile, so nice that you are able to approach them till so close. The insects over here, fly off as soon as you start to go near them, even if you approach very slowly and deliberately.
Yeah I definitely enjoyed this ‘live’ walkabout style video! It’s interesting to see what you might find on your travels and encouraging to see the raw process, rather than a finely tuned studio approach. It’s a bit different, and I enjoyed it.
Your video is very helpful. I really like the background for you to take pictures of. Can you share the image file with me please. Thank you very much!!!
The raw walk was definitely fun. Glad the misses said weekly. My rare, accidental crab spider sightings came when a flower I'm familiar with looked misshapen. Another time I saw a leg sticking out from a bloom next to the flower I was shooting. Hope it helps your search.
This just shows you never know what you're gonna get and what you'll find. Macro is my passion for this reason. Anyone can go and take a photo of a building or landscape but macro is totally dependant on what subjects decide to be where you are. Ive always done macro outdoors but ive just ordered a few bits and pieces to try some indoor shooting especially when the weather is shit, I live in Manchester so that should speak for itself 🤣. Great vid mate, got some lovely shots. Favourite was definitely the bee, pin sharp.
Nice video Stewart. Everytime I’ve seen them red insects they’re going at it…worse than rabbits 😆. Where can I get that diffuser bro?. I’m stuck using a diffuser that looks like a child’s bib. Lol
Did you like this format of video showing you a macro walk without the editing?
No
A great format, keep them up Stewart! A big applause for the awesome videographer too!! 👏👏👍
Yes! A good company out walking the dog at midnight. 😁
Nicely done, Stewart.

Yep, more please
Thanks, Stewart. I enjoyed your macro walk. You had a nice Spotted Longhorn, Rutpela maculata, and many Common Red Soldier Beetles.
Thank you for the information.
Real life macro. Love it!
Thanks for watching.
I like the macro walk because it's spontaneous and you never know what you'll run into. That's what makes it fun to watch.
Thank you.
I like this format Stewart! Makes a nice change.
Glad you like it!
I like the walk-a-bouts. You find more bugs than I do!
Plenty about but not found any crab spiders yet :(
Refreshing video and wonderful shots! Loved it!
Glad you enjoyed it

It was a cold dull day, in hot weather they are all over the place.
Yes please weekly will be great
Fantastic as always. Just wish I knew where I could buy some clock seeds 😮
The flat top whiteflower is queen Ann's lace, look under the white flowers.
Will do, thank you.
Most enjoyable, please do more of these
I'll try.
Great Video... WOW, I love the whole thing. Thank you and your wife for your time and effort producing this wonderful "behind the scenes" video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed the video, and very interested in how you made the background cards. ? Thank you 😊
They are textures from my website, you can download them and print yourself.
@@StewartWoodArt very kind of you to share. Thank you. 😊
Enjoyed that. Great shots.
Thank you.
I like these types of videos Stewart. I bought your texture pack and would like to get a set of cards like you used. How would I go about that?
You'll need to print out the texture's and laminate them using a matt laminate pouch.
Why are there no subtitles, I’m French and without subtitles I can’t understand
Afraid not, maybe in the future.
Great video 👍
Yank here. Thought you were saying “macro war.” Enjoy and benefit from your work, mate!
That's just me, can't pronounce "W" lmao

Contact Cygnustech on instagram @cygnustech, he'll sort you out.
Do you make up those background cards yourself, if you do maybe a quick video on how ?

@@StewartWoodArt Thanks Stewart, i have only just found your channel so havent had a chance to look through all videos yet.
Awesome vid!
Thank you.
Like me in the field ;) great grass documentary How do I know this;D
Huh?
@@StewartWoodArt sorry my English is poor, now is edited to simply version ;) Great Work ;)
Enjoyable
Thank you.
name of your bag pls?
It's a Lowpro Protactic BP 450 II
Yeah like this type of video
Lol, i come for macro besause bird fly off, but same thing for insectes😂😂😂, thank for the cameraman, no every boby have one😁
Thank you.
it's very strange that your photos of insects are not very sharp in this video, there are not much details on those insects.
They are sharp enough on the computer, maybe it’s a UA-cam compression issue.
Cedar moth? did you mean Cinnabar moth?
I see you like to chew your cards, what flavours do they come in?
Many different flavours.
This is why people look at me funny.. Out there crawling on the ground staring intently at something no one can see.
nice to see. I can't shoot with one hand
Why not?
@@StewartWoodArt the camera is actually too heavy. I have a Sony A64 with a 90mm macro lens
I see, that’s a shame but I’m sure you manage 😀
You mention pornhub a bit...is that another hobby? Also, do you not find those backgrounds are more trouble than their worth?
lmao, the background cards are easy to use.
