Jon, I enjoy your videos so much. I find the pacing very relaxed and chill and your enthusiasm for what you are doing is very uplifting. It hadn't occurred to me to make the ladder taller than the van but you make a good point!

Thank you for sharing, on your previous video you showed how you made coffee and I'd like to suggest using paper filters with your pour over method as the filters trap 2 oily substances called diterpenes> kahweol and cefestol that can cause LDL cholesterol to raise. Have a blessed day.

Hi Jon, I am anxiously looking forward to building or rather orchestrating my first van build this coming spring. I’m also in my 70s and I am ready for another new adventure. I’m from Minnesota so you can bet I will take my leave in Two or three of the coldest months to do some traveling. The exciting part about all of this is one can go anywhere, anytime you wanna leave home and find a new adventure. So I appreciate all that you shared. I especially want a sunroof, have to see the stars at night. I have a few more months of watching van tours/video’s To know exactly what I want in my van. I have a pretty good idea now but then I’ll listen to another one and get a little more information and then I have to 😅think twice.

Life scoots by so fast, it's impossible to comprehend until it's mostly behind you.. So making your future an adventure is what life was all about from the start. To bad the young couple had to or decided to cancel their plans but great for you Jon that they did... that is a great van and I particularly love the roof and agree 100% on all you enjoy and how you handle your missions !

Jon, I notice your foldable steps. We used these also, but they collapses. Please be careful with these. They don't hold up. We switched to a metal one the Dave & Carrie (van nomads - OneVanture at a time). It has a low profile when folded. Those Harbor Freight ones can be dangerous for us seniors. FYI
Hi Jon, love your videos. I am so impressed with your easy going style…of living and speaking. I realize talking to a camera is not easy to do. Too many UA-camrs can’t seem to handle it. So good for you! Watching this video you mentioned traveling to New England to see the changing of the leaves. Spectacular idea! I’m a retired woman living in Massachusetts so maybe we’ll see each other!Travel safe. P.S. Love your roof top deck!!
Hi Jon, When my husband was alive we camped in everything from a pop tent all the way to a van sprinter so I guess you know I love camping. But the thing you showed that I really really loved is that ladder that is the bees knees. Have fun on your trip when you head to New England I will be jealous with all those steamed clams and lobster rolls Yum.In Florida we have wonderful things but not the fish so much. Have a great time enjoyed your video so much I’m living vicariously through you God bless

Jon, did you happen to have a chance to walk onto the bridge over the Royal Gorge just upstream from Canon City ? . I never had a chance to see it from that perspective as I was a 1000 feet down looking up as I went on my first and as it happens only white water rafting adventure. That was pretty cool going through that narrow gorge. So many nice things to see in Colorado, the four wheel drive back country in the Rockies is what drew me there although this is quite a few years ago now ( I am from Alberta ) .

I am just gonna keep my van simple to start out, but enjoy your energy and enthusiasm. Was surprised to see you driving with the sunroof open. Doesn't it catch the wind?
