What an emotional interview. Im a Pirates fan but Rhulani's coaching brilliance was hard to ignore. The man is a football genius. I've never felt so much sadness for a coach to be released from a football club. 😢

As a Chiefs fan I am glad that he is gone because it gives us a chance to fight with Sundowns again, but for Bafana Bafana it’s a big blow and I hope that this doesn’t derail our progress.

I’m one of his biggest haters and it’s purely banter. I can hate on him on many things (mostly a lack of emotional intelligence at times) but I could never hate on his craft and skill. This is a South African gem. Par excellence. Annoying as he might’ve been but this man was HIM.

Very sad! Rhulani must not drop his head, he has done exceptionally well as a coach more especially at his age. He has outdone even some highly-respected veteran coaches' careers with his achievements this far. This Brother deserves respect and he needs to invest in his brand, build a technical team and start taking on projects as coach Pitso does. He also needs to think and work towards joining national team, has what it takes to lead Bafana in future. Best wishes, Koena!

This is heart breaking and very disappointing to witness this. I might not be a Sundowns fan but I'm a proud south African man that loves Kaizer Chiefs. I believe this is one of the best young talent we have in this country. I really don't know what people want and expect. This man worked very hard and really delivered. Numbers don't lie people. He might have not won any star for sundowns but he made them the most feared team in Africa. We take pride in the players sundowns gives us for the national squad because of this guy. This is black excellence guys and we r failing to recognize. Tell me of any coach that has such a close relationship with his players. We are supposed to be the people defending the team against all outsiders. Gooners rally for Arteta, Coys for Ange and even united fans for Ten Hag. But Barca fans act like they hate their coaches/players. You can have high standards and still recognise progress and effort. Barca fans have the shortest memory of all. Before Xavi we had not won the league since 2018/19 season. We had a change of president, lost the GOAT, financial handicap, PR explosion and expectations were for Barca to go into ruin or become the "next Milan" for years. However, we won 2 trophies which includes the biggest trophy in Spain."
