I was the proudest to be the Sundowns supporter when you coached the team and I followed this from 1991. Thank you Rhulani, your passion challenged me.
Just got this quote from a Barcelona fan after Pep left the team: " understand people have high expectations and want to see Barca playing at the highest level but the harsh criticism from the people who are supporting the club the most is disappointing. We are supposed to be the people defending the team against all outsiders. Gooners rally for Arteta, Coys for Ange and even united fans for Ten Hag. But Barca fans act like they hate their coaches/players. You can have high standards and still recognise progress and effort. Barca fans have the shortest memory of all. Before Xavi we had not won the league since 2018/19 season. We had a change of president, lost the GOAT, financial handicap, PR explosion and expectations were for Barca to go into ruin or become the "next Milan" for years. However, we won 2 trophies which includes the biggest trophy in Spain." "Sometimes I wish the fans get what they want so they can learn the hard way. Bring in Arteta/De Zerbi or whatever other popular name, Ten Hag used to be a name people called too, and see how they will implode. They have done worse with less pressure and more income. Let's if they can survive the calls for your head after losing your first game all season. Winning 1-0 at a tough away game to a team that has not lost at home in 15+ games and people still say it's not good enough while Madrid gets praised for being resilient and showing up for only 15 mins in every game."

I am a khosi 4 life fan tse tshehla tsa motaung . But sundowns floped they will remember rhulani mokoena am telling you . They will see peprulani was a good coach if not the best .
Chiefs is a flop
He is a stellar coach of the game, as chiefs fan you are highly appreciated by being high astute winner of the game, you are the best.
I am an Orlando Pirates, what happened to this Coach is unfair I love him. one of the best Coach in this Country hard luck coach😢.
I'm too sad but honestly sundown will regret this, I'm khosi fan and he was once managed us 5-1 and I didn't remember the last year's chiefs loose in such margin
In football there's no coach win every cup we saw it at Real Madrid during the time of Ronaldo, Figo , Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Raul, Zidane, the list çan goes on bt they didn't won every cup
He must rejoin pirates then
Take him back. The loan is over 😂
What a set moment for our beloved sport to loose such young talent. All the best Rulani walk tall my brother u left a mark at sundowns which next coaches have to live up to.. I doubt we will stil see the the beutiful play sundowns played in your tenure. All 5he best my brother

Good luck coach, i enjoyed watching ur carpet football... yeah u are crazy lol. Khosi fan.
I am not a sundowns supporter, but a great admirer of what they have achieved with Pitso, Manqobo and Rhulani. This man has surely taken this team to another level of football. Infect his impact on sa football went as far as bafana bafana, now we watch our national team play a brand of football we are proud of. Rhulani don't be sad, you are indeed a great coach sometimes we got to let go things we love in order to realise far much greater heights. Lift your head, far much more greatness is still ahead of you be strong. Congratulations coach on your overall success at age37 and all the best for the future sir. 🎉
Watching the interview with sad heart ...chowing my data buying it again to hear the sadness we jus witness as fans....all the best our Own SA PEP keep going bro all the best in future

U can tell he very intelligent 🧠. Very intelligent
I never thought I'd live to see this day. If Rhulani has failed, I wonder how should we classify the other 15 coaches in the PSL.
Other 15 coaches didn't have that huge budget
@@KBKoapeng So coaching is just about budget ?
@@sphesihlemadlala7843look at Al Ahly achievements in the last 6 years, then you'll know why he failed
@@sphesihlemadlala7843 Yess if you will be a successful coach, it's about budget.
In part, yes.
I'm Sundowns fan I wish you all the best coach you've done well for us 😢😢we loved you
I'm Kaizer Chiefs fan sillo you are a king bro

Bra Rob, thank you for this interview. Coach my coach, all the best in your future endeavor.
I was the proudest to be the Sundowns supporter when you coached the team and I followed this from 1991. Thank you Rhulani, your passion challenged me.

literally shedding a tear for the departure of such a rare talent in Rhulani ....ohhh what a gem! what a coach!!!!
One of the best on the continent and the entire global South
Thanks for everything you did for us coach will forever love you as the yellow nation
However, we won 2 trophies which includes the biggest trophy in Spain."
"Sometimes I wish the fans get what they want so they can learn the hard way. Bring in Arteta/De Zerbi or whatever other popular name, Ten Hag used to be a name people called too, and see how they will implode. They have done worse with less pressure and more income. Let's if they can survive the calls for your head after losing your first game all season. Winning 1-0 at a tough away game to a team that has not lost at home in 15+ games and people still say it's not good enough while Madrid gets praised for being resilient and showing up for only 15 mins in every game."
he is a great coach , all of the best Rhulani .. he will always be successful.
The last caller spoke facts, the comments from some sindowns fans are below par.I am convinced that Pirates fans are the only people who appreciate what Rulani has done for sundowns.
Yeah I have noticed that
but you guys are ridiculous, like he also said he didn’t want to leave but things are beyond his powers, so what should we do coz it was not our decision! It is a hard pill to swallow but what can we do, we move, he’ll surely get something better because when one door closes the others open
@pulengmphahlele5742 I'm not speaking from Rulani's perspective. I am touching on "some "sundowns supporters comments. Rulani once said in an interview that he doesn't feel appreciated, which highlights the statement above. If you really stroll through the comments underneath this video, twitter etc.. Some sundowns fans are ungrateful tbh, Calling him a plumber , saying he has failed as a coach...etc
Thank you for the role you played at the club. I hope your coaching career can only go up from here. Wish you all the best . This breaks my heart but what can I say it's all part of the game. The way you've shaped SA football is incredible please continue pushing no matter where you are we will still follow your work 🙏🏽
