Thor, even in traditional Norse Mythos, is too much of a drinker to poison mead. Also that is a dishonorable way to handle an enemy, even this Thor isn't for dishonorable victories.
Why would you poison the mead when it's easier and faster to just to walk in and kill the guy whenever you want? Like seriously, the mythology for Thor is that he spends almost all his time doing three things. Eating, drinking, and fighting, and there's nobody who could beat him at any of the three. Thor wouldn't use a trick to win a contest because he knows he doesn't need to use a trick to win. Tricks are a waste of time and effort for him.
@@markandrew5968 you missed the point behind a lot of Norse mythos. There is a reason Thor was/is one of the most loved gods in Norse mythology. He wasn't about dishonorable anything, because he was so honorable he was able to be unbeatable for the most part(check out the actual Ragnorok legend, Thor definitely was beatable in the mythos and it's blatantly shown in that). *Fun fact* : kratos used to be 7,6 ft in the old greek games but his height was reduced to 6,4 and if kratos would have kept his original height he would have been taller than thor which his height is 7,4 ft
I think they did that on purpose, i saw something that the devs said that they did that in order to keep it "realistic" or something like that cuz well they wouldnt be able to fit everyone on the screen meaning it would be weird and not true to the mythology cuz thor is half giant so kratos has to look shorter, and tyr is also tall so yeah :v it makes sense if u consider its nordic anyways cuz everyone there is tall lol
odin is terrifying, hes so small and scrawny looking but thor follows his every word. he scares him. and hes the literalall father. a true god. thats some unstoppable shit.
What makes Odin scary in this interpretation is not his figure, it's his charisma. And sure he has the power to back up his words as you'd see when you fight him but the way he manages to convince people to do what he wants when he wants, Atreus included, that's what makes him so frighting. He doesn't talk to you like he's above you or superior to you, he talks to you like a father talking to his kid. And he does this to everyone.
Great reaction. This is a game that I wished never ended once I beat it. Wait till you find out why Thor said that this battle seems familiar to Kratos.

Odin:
14:23 that moment got me laughing 😂 your expression already knowing that Thor ain’t coming here to drink 😂
"Here's a deal I know you can trust" said Odin to Kratos, and then he proceds to say the exact thing that made Kratos refuse the deal XD
If I was Kratos those damn asgardians could’ve seen me about my damn roof
I literally was searching y’all’s channel for the last 2 days waiting for the upload every hour. 😀😀👍🏿
The thing is,everytime you both pointed out about Tyr,Im just get more excited XD. Love yall reaction.Cant wait for next episode
yalls reaction to thors height had me dead lmao
I'd love to see this Thor in the MCU. More destroyer
I just realized, the reason Odin let the Ravens in first with Thor, was probably to scout the place for any traps or relevant information.
God I love your guy’s reactions. I can’t wait for your guys’ future reactions in the story
That frozen lightning is crazy
Just casually waiting for the next episode 🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact old kratos Is stronger and he Is holding punches all the time
*Fun fact* : kratos used to be 7,6 ft in the old greek games but his height was reduced to 6,4 and if kratos would have kept his original height he would have been taller than thor which his height is 7,4 ft
@@vaceffl33t85 they made it 6,4 cus thats the height of his voice actor
odin is terrifying, hes so small and scrawny looking but thor follows his every word. he scares him. and hes the literalall father. a true god. thats some unstoppable shit.
The bear name that your thinking of was killed by Loki. They just thought he was the bear till they noticed it was dead.
Great reaction. This is a game that I wished never ended once I beat it. Wait till you find out why Thor said that this battle seems familiar to Kratos.
Thor Snaps his Fingers to retrive Mjolnir
That Lightning Tree was made between the Clash of the hammer and axe in the fight. Your gonna find another later in the story and realize why he said that seeing the Lightning/Ice Tree looks familiar.
Jrocc says Thor is giving me mad Thanos vibes!!!
I bet after Thor got punched he went back home to drink so he can't feel it.
he knocked him out, then used the jolt to shock him back into his senses. he didn't kill him.
In mythology Thor is huge like that…a drunkard, and a BEAST…has a decent heart but Odin blackened it over time
"This feel familiar" hahahaha nice one, those who haven't played the game will understand later
Fifth rewatch
I re watched it today too
@@BaldingSince1999 huh?….I play the game I just love their reactions. Are you okay?
@@BaldingSince1999 they watch because they’ve been following the story and want to watch it like a movie because they can. You’re weird asf and unnecessarily triggered
The lightning got frozen in place from their battle… That’s why it’s there
Thanks!
Thank you for the support!
@TNTGamingonline No problem! Loving the playthroughs!
Kratos froze the lightning with his axe, that's why it's like that
Just my personal observation and speculation. At 12:51 you can see the Blades of Chaos over Atreus’s head…I think this foreshadows him receiving the blades in the future games. Kratos claimed that it wouldn’t happen in the last game; but Kratos saw a prophecy where he might die. If this happens Atreus may use the blades to seek revenge like his father…he is a lil reckless after all.
17:00 Kratos was most likely going to settle with Odin, however as soon as Odin brought up Freya, Kratos knew that they would only settle it through her death. He wouldn’t risk her life.
I have been waiting on this!!!!!
Kratos seemed to be feeling him out, too. Thor is a monster as well and it wasn't to the death. I'd have Spartan Rage him more
Kratos was holding back, once Thor said about his son, he just sent Thor back to Asgard with one punch
And you think Thor wasn't. Thor could've killed him.
@@thegoat4617 So could kratos
@@thegoat4617Kratos kinda doesn’t like to stay dead…
What makes Thor killin Kratos even crazier is in the game, a death loading screen appears when that happens to make it more believable
Awwwwwww YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH Another KICKASS REACTION!!!! 😁👍
About the Lightning it was encased in Ice that's why it's stuck there similar to what Loki did in the MCU in the First Thor Movie
Love your reactions to these masterpieces.. go for Uncharted, Resi Evil series, Horizon and Days Gone too you'll love them👐🌿
Of course he is huge he is part giant lmao
The lightning is frozen. Thor’s lightning, Kratos’ ice.
