Heavy engineering, made to look easy. How these guys cut with thermal lances and then welded without machining the cut edges, managing to cut to accurate size and weld to make very heavy gear boxes. Phew ! Great to watch. Thank you! 😊❤😊
With the cost of so many health and safety regulations heaped upon them I can't see how they can make a profit.! I need to get myself some of those safety shoes and one of those top notch welding masks.
How people worked in England or in the US 150 years ago? I think it's the same. Only then there were not as many socialists and "greens" as today, who can only complain.
These men are very skilled workers ! Ifeel bad for them. Somebody is making a fortune off their backs . Think about it for a moment. This is a sweat shop, and nothing else. It's dismal there, and don't kid yourself for a minute they hurt their workers all the time . I worked in a fab shop down in the gulf , in the great state of Louisiana . It was dangerous there. I witnessed several injuries . Hell, we were dressed to work had boots gloves helmets welding hoods and attire. These guys have sandals and robes on and are being used and abused, going home every day carrying nothing but their fuzzy assholes out the door. Wore out put away wet .I realize it's Pakistan and not America . Workers should wake up and download a little bit of self-worth and some dignity. And , you people who run work should consider a little bit of empathy and take care of those hands that sometimes actually bleed for you !
In the west it would take a machine engineering shop 75 days to work out what brand of coffee to have before they even put pen to paper to design this thing. 😆.
Welcome To India the land of NO ground clamp hardly ever they have the bare wire of the ground just touching what ever they’re welding on or something conductive touching whatever they’re welding on 😊
Two 5+cm metal plates welded together without any edge chamfering and no gap only with single path of electrode is joke. This transmission weight 10 tons and can be made with only 20% of material with proper drawings, little bit of calculations and optimalization from 2cm steel plates and proper bearing housings. Iam still surprised by fact they are able to move this heavy anchor from their workshop.
I Have The Same Issues With This!!! Although I Like Things Built Extra Thick, The Lack Of Any Bevels At The Welds Is Quite Alarming!!! There's Literally No Weld Penetration!!! I Guess It Stays Together By Sheer Weight Alone!!!
Classic engineer response. You can make it 20 percent lighter according to what? You don't even have the print. Is this a fair thing to say when you don't know the environment the transmission will be operating in, or the material used for the part?
Cargo cult. They copied the design of a gearbox and made a "nonfunctional" knockoff. What's the purpose of 4" thick reinforcing plates if the working part is a weld joint with 1/4" penetration at best?
One of the best comments here with no mention of the sandals. No bevels equals surface welding. What's the point of the thick plates then? And I agree. With a few hours of work on the drawing board, they could cut the weight down by 80%! 😂
I guess steel is so cheap over there, that they would rather throw 3" thick blocks everywhere rather than do some weld prep and achieve some actual weld penetration.
If you're given a set of blueprints and asked to tender for making it you do exactly that. Your job isn't to redesign the object and probably you don't know what its job is.

How do you think Titanic was built! You're not seeing every single operation or the video would be 25 days long at least! 😂
Respekt vor dem Arbeitern,Hut ab .
the real masters of their craft do everything by hand

75 plus but in northern areas of Pakistan it exceeds 100 plus years
Bet it took longer to make it than to break it .
amazing video. Those guys know what they are doing.

¡IMPRESIONANTE! 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

and how do you know how many days it took to desgin this transmission

Easy to tell you’re a third world person. The West is drinking coffee while their computer model creates the design. Good try though
Really? They goes to the moon dude.
I'm embarrassed for you.
now i want to see them fit it in the car.😁
great use of the steel toe nail safety flip flops they never realy took off in england.
This guy’s are Amazing 🤩 🤘😎✨👍
Pekerja tangguh
Saya pernah menggalaminya

No preheat --grinding after bearings still exposed. Unbelievable and saddles. 🤔 god help us
Shouldn’t you finish your welding first and then machine the surface so warping doesn’t occur for a precision fit.
I'm guessing that the amazing skill is the total absence of weld prep....
Work used to bedone like that here till peoiple got modern and thought they were too good to do it that way any more. WONDERFUL job!
Exactly! There’s something inspiring about the old-school ways of doing things-pure skill and hands-on effort. Wonderful job indeed
@@hydraulichands Just shows a computer is NOT necessary! Just hard work!

Well done fellas. First production Wizz Wam for grinding smoke built in Pakistan. 😂
Please show the heavy item how it upload in transport . It will be amazing.

Welcome to UEA...just sit, shut up and eat your free bread...it grows on trees.
With all that stuff on everything how do they get anything plumb they put everything in the dirt and what ever
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I guess that they apply the rule “ in case of d0ubt build it stout”. But yes, I wonder how log will those weldings stand.
Gute Arbeit 😊😊
A piece of possibly warped wood for a straight edge. You can’t make this up

Do you clean the factory once in a year ???????? Strange!
Maybe start up a go fund me for some safety sandals .

It is a double reduction gearbox casing.

What is this transmission used for?
It is used in steel mill, to run the other machinery
