Watched the entire video and I can feel.your enthusiasm for meeting this amazing family. You've touched everyone across the 🌎. Keep promoting our country. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
At this point, I think the Miinistry of a Tourism and the Culture Ministry should really look at the work you and the Backyard Cafe are doing when it comes to promoting Guyana, it's food and culture. As a matter of fact, stuff like this should be airing on the government control TV channel. Thank you for what you are doing to keep us wanting to come back to our beautiful Guyana 🇬🇾 💯
@troydeweever4091 Troy, you are absolutely correct; however, that's the problem. We will continue to lose talent. Now we have someone like chef Delven, who is SOLELY responsible for showcasing Guyana 🇬🇾 beautiful and fresh food, bringing celebrity chefs and foreign dignitaries to Guyana, with little or no support from his own country. That's a problem.
@@backyardcafeguyana102 A question…I know that you have probably heard this a million times, however, I am going to be the one to add one more. Why don’t you expand into a larger restaurant whilst keeping your original flavor? I ask based on the notoriety you are receiving, and have received. People would naturally capitalize on this exposure. You can even expand into franchises. Maybe you can respond in kind. Thanks…
Greetings chef Delvin and crew. Thank you's for another cool episode showcasing to the world this beautiful land which holds all my roots. Your guests were amazing. 👍❤💯
This is one of your best market tour videos. The young people are enthusiastic about the food and the country of their ancestors. Although I was born and raised in Trinidad, I felt that I was Trinidadian-Guyanese Chinese because both parents were B.G. born and raised, and 80% of my relatives were living in Guyana. Although my great grandmother was Indian, my DNA test showed 1.5% South Asian.
Chef devan i enjoy your video you always do a awesome job ❤ keep it coming god bless you and your crew have to visit one day when i come back to guyana 🇬🇾
Here tuned in from Barbados🇧🇧

You are on point, the world 🌍 recognizes what we are doing and we will keep pushing Guyanese cuisine to the TOP.
Well anything to deal with the ministry is a dead deal. They are too slow and don't want to spend.

That's the East Indian kicking in there: hot pepper sauce! They look like mixture of East Indian and White.
I am coming back for sure..
