That off ramp curves into almost a complete circle. You have to turn into it reducing your speed. These cars must have been going way to fast and could not take that sharp turn and flew off
Yes. I just went to a hotel taking the same off-ramp and there was scratch marks from the incident. They were definitely speeding.

It went airborne off the bridge. Fly or flew in this case just means it was in the air. But yeah, proper English would be it went airborne from the bridge, crash landing in the parking lot below. I’ve noticed a number of televised anchors, politicians, celebrities, etc, speaking in pretty bad English.
