I wasn't putting down this rendition or anyone in the band
i was saying that the original song should have had a guitar solo instead of the fiddle
the fiddle can work sometimes but when you build the song up with all this tension only to wash it away with some fiddle ... mreh?

It's a great song ... but the violin in the end is trash to me
setting you up for such a climax then bam lame outro
and believe me i am not an idiot and i know it's heresy to question the greatness that is the who
but i much prefer when the who would do it live and end with a hamonica instead of the violine
i'm not even saying that the violin isn't great
sometimes in an intro or something it's awesome
but hey i just struck a power chord, here comes a guitar solo oh wait it's the violin .....

I have to disagree, as a violinist, imo it fits perfectly, the contrast works brilliantly, I love it, great performance by Jessie too 👌
