Scott Seufert you can get just as close with tandems forward... Tandems rear will make you run out of room in front of your truck in tighter areas. Even if a place makes you slide tandems when you enter, you can slide them forward after you're in. It may sound like extra work but it literally takes seconds if your slide isn't rusted to shit.
I never slid them.. what do you do when your loaded & have to put them at legal position & because of all the sand & crap from snow or whatever you can't slide them back.. Or the ground is ice & the trailer slides..

Jon boy Driver I
It happened to me today and I said to myself I should do after im in the slot, it took me a little bit longer but I had help, I've only been driving for two months. Lesson learned
Dissing on the man but not explaining to why...
good thing you didn’t try because you are wrong.
I never slid them.. what do you do when your loaded & have to put them at legal position & because of all the sand & crap from snow or whatever you can't slide them back.. Or the ground is ice & the trailer slides..
Bro best video I’ve seen that explains every detail thank you
With those skills you should be driving for a better company
guanaco Cruz which company is better ?
Nearly ANY company is better than Swift. Their training is terrible, the pay is laughable and they aren't known for treating employees well.
@@crx122 Lol you act like driving for SWIFT is the end of the world when it could be alot worse. He could be driving for CRE, CRST, or Welfare Express 😂😂
he drives for central. look on the side of his tractor. he's just pulling a swift trailer.
@@dujuanjohnson5025 Well SWIFT owns Central
This is the best expansion I have ever seen.... Thanks 😊
Dude, I've been driving 2 years and never had to do a 90... but I know that's not a 90. That's a 45, overly complicated for no reason. Listening to you explain it gave me a headache.
Thank you for this video. This was very detailed and much needed.
I'm still waiting on the video for the 90-degree backing
Lmao...just what I was thinking 🤔
