Was a beautiful episode all together. You will see those local celebrities who refused to come, begging for interviews now that we have gotten the biggest artist as far as music is concern globally.
As South Africans I think we need to be worried about how we are always perceived as people who think/behave as americans/europians. Akon indirectly said we tend to be the last ones to notice things happening in Africa due to our behavior.
That’s what I also picked up. It’s not a good look because it seems like we in our own bubble,
Its the mindsdt here in S.A. When we go to other African countries we say we are going to Africa. Imagine that.
