I was 15 years old at the time. My dad surprised me with tickets to this match on the Fall of 2007. I've been an Arsenal life since childhood. We flew out to this match from Los Angeles, California. A day that I will never forget and cherish forever. Thank you for posting, as this is the only video online that I can find of the match highlights.

This season will always hurt so many Arsenal fans. Excellent attacking football. That eduardo injury changed everything.
With just a 8 games to spare. Galas Reaction Spelt it out after the game at Birmingham. That was the defining moment of the season which saw us drop momentum and the Spirit that yes we can do it this time around.

Going into that Birmingham game which Eduardo broke his leg in we had the opportunity to go 8 points clear as it was an early Saturday K:O on the 27th G/W before everyone else played. The football that season going forward with the likes of Fabregas, Rosicky, Hleb, Walcott, Van Persie, Adebayor was absolutely scintillating. The intricate & incisive interchanges and build up going forward was truly breathtaking. Including the Birmingham draw we drew 5, lost 2 and won just 1 of our 8 league games in that period which ultimately cost us the title. Finished on 83 points (4 points off Man Utd). The 2 we lost were 6 pointers against Man United and Chelsea respectively as well to make it even more painful. Even if we'd just managed to beat United during that horrific run of results it would have hypothetically meant that we would have won the league in hindsight if the 3 points went the other way although obviously I appreciate the entire dynamic of the run in would have been altered by those chain of events. Fine margins. We completely imploded from gameweek 27-34. What could have been 😔.
Damn I feel old watching this lol
You’re a hero
I mean, great to see my team win, but cant say i remember it not even being 1 yr old yet at the time😂
Lord Bendtner...
Well done Almunia for keeping us in the game
5:00 - The late Geoffrey Palmer in the stands
What a spot! Well done
You’re amazing. Love you
Beautiful game
This team was great going forward but couldnt keep a clean sheet
If Arsenal had a good keeper I reckon they'd have won the league that year.
@@joecurran2811 True Almunia was not terrible
Almunia was good that season. The problem more was that Toure and Gallas were not a good enough CB pairing to win the league and, like the OP said, the rest of the side was so young and inexperienced that they didn’t defend well as a team.
This match proves Robbie Keane was never near world-class level. He was just a decent Premier League striker. He didn't even crack 20 league goals in a single season!
Never really did much for Ireland either, just stat padded against minnows.
Robbie Keane blew it! This is why don't make subs on corners.

Matchdays15-17?
6:24 that's a penalty after a VAR review today
VAR would also show Toure got to and played the ball off his shin for the first pen
Went to this game.
Nicklas Bendtner could've been one of the best centre forwards in Europe if he'd had the right attitude. So much potential wasted.
He was only 19 when he scored that header. It's still the quickest goal scored by a sub in the Prem if I'm not mistaken. Liam Brady said himself in a recent podcast that Bendtner was a serious prospect as a youngster when he had him in the Academy but never lived up to his potential.
Arsenal are just...BETTER.
Ya gunners ya
And to think manchester city came out of nowhere and bought half of this squad to win the pl a few years later and are now crying that the epl cartel is built against them lol
If anything the EPL allowed it to happen, now they’re trying to cover for their corruption. As much as I can’t stand City, all they did realistically was exploit loopholes in the Financial Fair Play book.
Almunia was so fucking bad.
