My mom was super involved in the Charismatic Renewal, I am now so inspired and encouraged by her faith and growth back in the 70s through 90s. She is still inspiratiing to many and especially her family. Feel proud of her and grateful for that. My late dad with his faith was such a role model as well.
It was one of the surprises from reading Maria Von Trapps's autobiography (sound of music lady) that she became involved with the charismatic movement at Notre Dame in the early 70's. She had only positive things to say about her experience.

I grew up with the Latin Tridentine Mass which was very Holy then later on it was changed to the Novus Ordo and I didn't think that was right and I don't believe this Charismatic Renewal movement is right either.
If you think any, or all of your problems can be solved by Jesus then think again. You have to realize that Jesus is the cause of all your problems not the solution, if you don’t think about him then he’ll go away, it’s time to dump Jesus and all his silly rules for your life, you’ll begin to feel free and so much better. Tell Jesus to take a hike.
