@@rakefireimpala the whole other half is how much of a beautiful tragedy the story is, knowing who each boss is and why they are fighting you just makes the games that much more impactful, for example the abyss watchers in ds3, they were a legion of highly skilled warriors who were sworn to demolish countries at the slightest sign of corruption by the abyss, but upon reviving after sacrificing themselves to link the flame, they themselves became corrupted by the very same abyss and driven mad, but in their delusions they remembered their oath and mindlessly fought the abyss, which meant mindlessly fighting each other, locking themselves in and endless cycle of killing each other, then reviving, then killing each other again
the player then ends up coming upon them and putting them out of their misery and putting them to rest, whist using the ashes of their bodies to fulfill their own purpose

@@rakefireimpala dark souls 3 combat is a little slower than bloodborne but i think its just as good if not better, only problem with it is that there is just a couple weapons that are just leagues above the rest, which i dont remember if bloodborne is the same way, and i personally think dark souls lore is much deeper and better, but i feel thats only because dark souls has 3 games and bloodborne is a standalone title
