THIS is the video that turned me onto these heads, I now use 2 joyo firebrand heads w two marshall 4x12 cabs as a stereo rig. INSANE! It's like 2 hodrodded plexi heads.
@@cocotico9997 It‘s a pedal that sends your signal to 2 outputs (A and B) and you can seitch between either A or B or both at the same time, which is called Y. To each of the 2 outputs you can connect a seperate amp.
Love your playing, Sasha. You are keeping the tradition going of the great rock guitarists like Joe Perry, Ace Frehley and Angus Young. And that’s a great sounding amp.
I like your playing style very good hard rock. I have an SG and a Les Paul. I play similar stuff and think an eq and a delay in the fx loop should make that little guy a good bedroom amp with a 1 12 cabinet. I'm going to look into getting one right now.
Hi there, do you have the Zombie to compare? I have a Zombie with swapped out 12ax7 (For a JJ one) and it's really amazing. How does this compare? They're cheap enough to have 2!!
Another one. I bought the Jackman because it was a "Marshall amp" except it wasn't. This one is closer to it, since it's actually High Gain. What is Joyo thinking?
The Jackman is based on a JCM800... not a hight gain amp. The 800s you heard all the thrash guys using were either pushed with an overdrive in front of them or heavily modded. The JCM800 itself was not a high gain amp. It sounds exactly as its supposed to. Try throwing a tube screamer or RAT in front of it and you'll get those 80s thrash tones. If you are looking for something to compete with a 6505 or EVH though a Marshall, let alone a JCM800, is FAR away from where you want to be.
@@J2Metal I wish this was made clearer but "all the guitar people" would go on and on about that Marshall sound. What else could I assume? Looks like the Marshall sound was a lie.
@@ColtraneTaylor The distortion/OD pedal doesn't change the voicing of the amp, it adds level to the signal and allows the guitar to "hit" the front of the amp harder to make the tubes break up sooner and add gain and distortion. Even the mods guys had done to the amps didn't change the amp's voice as much as add gain to make the tubes break up. A Marshall will still sound like a Marshall. So many great guitar tones are a mix of studio magic and the right stuff inside the signal chain. And keep in mind those guys were using these things before the 5150 or what we consider high gain amps today were a thing. The JCM800 in 1983 was a high gain amp but by today's standards its nothing.
I only tried a reverb pedal in the FX loop, that works great. I had no need to try it with overdrive/distortion pedals because the amp itself has so much gain and sustain :D

Nice video btw!

Outstanding playing, and amazing tone. I'm getting a Firebrand!
Can you make a how to play this song demo? The opening song is amazing.
You Rock BROCEPHUS 🎸🥁🎸 the Amplifier well Amazing! ROCK ON SASHA U SHREDDER U🎸☮️

Hey, sorry I don’t have a Zombie to compare. As you said, they are cheap enough to own two, so just buy the firebrand and check it out 😉
Makes me want to buy an sg
Exactly , and every SG sounds like an SG do distinct

I put a boss os2 (overdrive/distortion) in front of the Jackman and it made a HUGE difference.

Cool demo and awesome playing!
Thank you!
Sounds So Good
Came for the amp. Stayed for the riff.
Just to get an idea of how this amp is higher gain than the others, at low gain it still has a chug.
Brand is Dutch for Fire. So this amp is called, fire fire.
Thinking of getting one of these to replace my Marshall valvestate 8100
Do these amps make for a good pedal platform?
Great demo, thanks.
Me lo acabo de comprar uno me esta sonando bien
Que amp emula el firebrand??
@@victortapia1324 Engl Fireball 100
Nice Job !
Try some 7 gauge strings I use 8 gauge use to use 9's started out playing 10's
killer song
Thanks :)
I don’t need it...
I NEED IT
Hello mate. Is this a mic'd setup or you're playing direct to mixer/DI?
I don't know about this video, but for the Jackman demonstration he used a DI that costs more than twice what these amps do.
Il faut arrêter de me faire acheter des choses , je vais finir à la rue !!! 😄
the sg is for flex, the hbs are for respect.
Would you say that is like the jackman but already boosted?.. british tone but with more gain?
I never compared both, but I think the Firebrand has a different sound character. But yeah it has definitely more gain than the Jackman
very good riff!!!!! }
Not sure if it’s the amp that sounds good or you ripping it into another dimension. Lol
Haha thanks, but the amp is really good ;)
This amp emule a marshall???
Have you tried it with pedals?
I only tried a reverb pedal in the FX loop, that works great. I had no need to try it with overdrive/distortion pedals because the amp itself has so much gain and sustain :D
I use a RAT in front for a tiny gain boost, gain on about 10 o'clock on the joyo, tone all the way down, gets the early kill em all metallica sound.
Signal path please ?
Did you use a cab or modelling?
I used a cab sim from the Two Notes Wall of Sounds plugin
@@SRguitar did you use the headphone jack of the amp to the torpedo? Really sounds killer!
Are you still with Firebrand?
Yeah i still have it and use it :)
I had this amp, but it was called the Jackman.
Then you didn't have this amp 😂😂😂
Guns and
I think the joyo firebrand sucks the joyo zombie smokes it out the door just my opinion.
Both the Meteor and Zombie rock
