Great to see you making Bible review videos again Pastor Aaron. I’m with you, the Allan is a beautiful classic Bible that any Bible lover, especially of the KJV would love to own. However the Canterbury is definitely my favorite and I do love all Schuyler Bibles of any type. On the Canterbury, I really like the decorative drop caps, the font type for readability, the perimeter stitching and the classic Jeremiah Cross stamped on the cover. Schuyler also has wonderful color options and usually combines them with wonderful contrasting liner colors such as your black and red. I have a Canterbury Treveris with the full yap on pre order to go along with my standard Canterbury. Of interest I like to keep the Canterbury at home and use a KJV Sovereign from Nelson as my EDC. The Sovereign has the same layout with the decorative drop caps and much cheaper than a personal size Canterbury
The paper in this bible is Better than the other wide margins - Schuyler ….. Matte finish paper - better to write on and turn pagers . Thank you for this review - I have a 63 long primer ! Love it
I like the black letter because it is very hard to read the red letter format and the black letter has been a around the longest and I grew up with the black letter more and all my grandparents bibles were only in black letter format so when they came out with red letter it really messed up my reading and it really hurt my eyes at times I like that they have it in black letter edition is one reason that I would buy more of them than a red letter
Wonderful Bible. You'll love and enjoy it. I'm addicted to the Allan Longprimer. I have 4 62s (all different colors) 2 52s and a 53. I have to stop eventually. But if the 63 ever gets back in stock... Don't judge me.😉
I won’t tell you how many Schuyler’s and Cambridge’s I have - no judgment here lol. I have the 62 now and have ordered the 52. I’ll be waiting for the 63 right with you!
Does the Bible lay flat with the words not going into the gutter? I just want something I don't have to adjust or move around when reading Genesis or Revelation lol.
It does and the more you use it the more relaxed the stitching will get. You may have a little lift before the gutter - due to the edge lining, but I don’t get distracted by it when I read or preach.

Yeah, I have a Treveris pre-ordered as well. It won’t replace my Canterbury, but I want to see the reading experience of it.

I absolutely love my allen, I bought a blue 62. I too am waiting for the 63 allen as well.
Awesome, yeah I will be waiting for that 63 now. Thanks for watching!

And I’m light sensitive so that happens to be another reason that black letter helps me read better than the red letter

Great review Aaron! I might not get this. But I might get the Canterbury.
They both are nice - but yeah the Schuyler Canterbury is still tops for me!
That is a beautiful bible. I think that the Schuyler Canterbury Wide Margin is just a bit better in my opinion.
It’s so nice to find the Bible you really like! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
I bought one Schuyler and will not buy another. Their references do not even come close to Allan’s
Love this bible that is a very beautiful text block!
It is very nice Bible. I am privileged to own one!
Great review
Thanks brother!
Very good review.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Is Aaron a member of all the bible pages on facebook!? lol! Good to see you doing some reviews again, sir!
Yeah, I’m a member of a few Bible groups! Lol. Thanks for watching and the encouragement!

Beautiful but I’m still a fan of the 53 🤙
Same here.
Oh I imagine the 53 is very nice! Thanks for watching!
Is the paper 40gsm?
Yes, 40 GSM is what it says on the Bible Direct website for R.L. Allan.
