(a) The facts contained herein are within my own personal knowledge.
(b) I have read and understood the requirement of local content (LC) and the same is specified as a percentage
calculated in accordance with the definition provided in clause 2 of revised Public Procurement (Preference to Make in
India) Order 2017.
“Local content” as per the above order means the amount of value-added in India which shall be the total value of items
procured (excluding net domestic indirect taxes) minus the value of imported content in the item (including all customs
duties) as a proportion of the total value in percent.”
(c) I have satisfied myself that the goods/services/works to be delivered in terms of the above-specified bid comply
with the local content requirements as specified in the tender for ‘Class- I Local Supplier’ / ‘Class-II Local Supplier’, and
as above.
(d) Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017
1. Select one of the following only.
1) Class-I Local Supplier -
2) Class-II Local Supplier -
(Note: Class-II local supplier means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services, or works
offered for procurement, have content of more than 20% but less than 50%, as defined under this order.
If local content is more than or equal to 50% then it is a class-I local supplier.
(e) The local content calculated using the definition given above is as under:
