Ok, I have a theory: You know how Sparkle says "I am Elation" but also "Who is the real Sparkle"? What if Sparkly is not necessarily Aha herself, but the real Aha is one of her personas, and she, is in turn one of his personas (like maybe the one that seems disturbed by the stuff going on, and in one of the shots is lying on the ground, and in another is a puppet). What if he made her insane by, basically, taking over her mind like a disease? Could that be why she follows a path other than Elation, but says that she IS Elation...
