If only 5% of the doctors were this informative and helpful.
Very clear : vomiting , abdominal distension and pain ,constipation and no bowel sounds & no gas .
Treatment : nothing per mouth same as pancreatitis , NG tube , IV fluids & elctrolites , IV nutrition . Thank you .
How do you manage IV fluids when the person has a blood pressure of 212/123 mmHg?
@@diyallthings then you should think about using IV labetalol after discussing with your senior, perhaps.
You are great! The videos are helping me a lot to learn for my exam pathology. Thanks.
Very clear and simple, thank you!

I'm going through it now. I need prayers in my video
This happened to me after my appendectomy. Kept throwing up this green stuff even though I wasn't eating anything. They told me it was my own stomach bile. It lasted about a week or so before things started getting better.
All love for you💙✨
This video is solid!
My sister is going through this now. She had an endoscopy and the dr cut her duodenum. She had a stent put in, then got diagnosed with sepsis. Now she had ileus. My poor sister. My heart is breaking for her. Praying for her full recovery.
Sending prayers for your sister ....hope she recovers soon 🙏
I hope your sister is doing well now, do you know what was the cause for your sisters condition?
May God heals her in the name of Jesus.
@@mohammedmurad1464 a botched surgery. They cut her.
@@mariadiez9921 thank you so much
Superb Video
Thanks for the video!!
No problem!
I had this following end ileostomy surgery and it was so awful. The CT showed that I was backed up all the way from my stomach to the end stoma itself and lets just say when my small bowel decided to work it really worked. I passed so much fluid and ended up with a potassium deficiency which was duly treated. The vommiting was bad too for days.
How do you feel now , does they inset the tube to solve the problem?
How many days did it take to recover?
@@LG-oh9rh my bowel didn’t work at all for about a week.
2:13: is absolute constipation the same as obstipation?
Going through this now. My goodness. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Second day of not vomiting. Still enduring a little pain. It does get better.
I'm going through it now. I need prayers in my video
loved it
OPIOD USE IS ANOTHER CONTRIBUTING FACTOR
Wow
Wow
Nice Job :)
Good video. Detailed and to the point with side note. You should do a video on conditions that cause bowel pain after bm. And do a video on conditions that cause fat and carbohydrate malabsorption
Nice one!!❤
Thank you! 😊
Great!
Thanks
my X-ray impression

In 2017 I had ileus. It was caused by eating pizza from 7/11. Apparently the doctor said that that the pizza was expired that it give my stomach to have an infection. I was sick for a week. They put IV fluids in my veins and took medication to feel better. I had to go on a diet to make my bowels rest so they can work properly. The pain was the worst.
Tq
if u describe your lectures with making 3d animation videos it will help much better

Love this where was this when I was in college? 🤣
Hopefully a nice recap
my stool stays stuck in my intestines i can push it out but its constipation 100% of the time also i get flare ups of pain which are my main problem and thing i want to get rid of this happened when i got a colitis infection colitis is gone but symptoms have stayed i am devastated and eventually will need psychiatry :(
I have a question sir. why patient with adhessions developing Ileus
I have that problem. And I don't know how to manage it. Surgery is not good solution, because adhesions came back, even more of them. Don't know what is safe to eat anymore.
I had ileum post total colectomy, it was no joke but thankfully passed in about 4 days or so . Tip if you are given a tube don't talk much it will really hurt the next day ,just try sleep .
I'm going through it now. I need prayers in my video
Not “eye-lius” pronunciation …. But “ill-lius”, as in ill-eyum.
Thank you
Had this after an emergency exploratory laparotomy after a stabbing. Kept me in the hospital way longer than expected and was one of the worst experience of my life.
I'm going through it now. I need prayers in my video😢
Not even a word about pain management or how long it might take to treat. I had one after an emergency appendectomy. I was told to go home & eat & everything is ok. It did not heal & I was back to the ER in 3 days with an Ileus. It took 2 weeks of IV diluadid twice a day until I was better. No food or water, I got to swish water & spit it out. Taking a shower with an IV rack. One of my lifes worst experiences, to be sure. Of course this was back when hospitals were still allowed by the government to dispense according to patients needs. Now they are told by federal agencies who have been analyzing the opiates they prescribe that they WILL cut their prescriptions of opiates by a fixed percentage in this time frame & if patients suffer too bad.
This literally does nothing to combat opiate abuse, the vast majority of abusers are not as many would have it, ex pain patients, they are 20-30 somethings. The only pain they've suffered is withdrawls.
finished
I was absolutely delighted grateful with the immediate treatment I got through Dr igho channel on UA-cam, keep saving live sir.
its pronounced: I LEEEH US !!! you are making a fool out of yourself
it's pronounced differently in England
Can crohns disease cause ileus? Especially during a acute flare?
I had this following AAA open surgery.
It was absolutely horrendous. I had the ng tube for over a week, it was very scary. I was put on tpm which helped, eventually it sorted itself out.
Great video!
