The first year in the league, he was on the bench with Fitz as the starter and when the team decided to swap to Tua in midway through, everyone in the league and on the team was shocked as the Dolphins were doing pretty well. Tua came in and stunk up the joint so bad that he was pulled twice. Would have been a third time in the final game of the season where a win would have gotten us into the playoffs but Fitz tested positive for the flu and had to sit the game out. Fun times as they lost that game. That was the 10 win season that you somehow credit to Tua. Now shoo.

I'm so glad the Dolphins hired this head coach because he lets Tua play his game unlike the former coaches , but without Tua they can't win and people are now seeing that he's one of the best qb's in the league once they get over their hate for Alabama , same for Jalen Hurts he's also one of the best qb's in the league .

Mcdaniels has def given Tua the confidence and plays sorely lacking from Flores. However, with the positive you also get a team that is now undisciplined in penalties and the defense has regressed. Mcdaniels needs to work on that stuff big time.
@@manuelper The Defense definitely not looking so good, but keep in mind Ogbah been playing injured, Howard has been dealing with a groin injury all season, and Byron Jones hasn't played a single game this season. They should still be playing better but their 2 starting CBs are either out because of injury or playing injured, and so is their top pass rusher. Hopefully the defense gets better when and if these guys get healthy.

Tua/Hill stays healthy. Hill has his best career year. Without question
Hella great year for yards, but he's gonna have to get more tds, atleast 10 and 1900 yards. In 2020 he played 15 games had almost 1300 yards and 15 tds averaging 17 a catch

These recent lions games have been some of the most Lions-esque football of all time. Keep it up.
Nobody throws a more catchable ball than Goff. It sucks that there is much more to the game than that and it's physicality and situational awareness that seem to plague him. He's so frail and doesn't seem to be situationally aware as to when he can't throw a trademark beautiful spiral into a situation that will certainly be a turnover.

Dolphins fan here, a couple thoughts. Glad our defense played better in the 2nd half after giving up 27 in the first. Great comeback and Tua, Hill, and Waddle led the charge. The Lions should be better than 1-6. They have a pretty solid offense.
We also need to clean up our discipline. So many penalties.
They should have beat you guys

Yo I didn't know Waddle does a waddle as a celebration. I'm dead
I know Tua underthrew Hill a few times today, but I think that has more to do with chemistry then it does a "weak" arm. If you notice whenever he throws deep to Waddle, those passes are usually right in the bucket more times than not. But when he throws deep to Hill those passes are usually underthrown more times than not. Remember he played with Waddle for 2 or 3 season in college and then last season for the Dolphins, so they already have that built in chemistry from playing at Alabama. With Hill its different, they've only played 5 games together, and there was that one game where he hit Hill in stride for a deep TD, and it seemed like Tua and Hill chemistry was getting stronger but then Tua got hurt the next game I believe and missed 3 games and now they have to rebuild that chemistry again.
Tyreek is soo fast it's a totally different RANGE to pass him the ball,..lol,..I mean that dude is soo much faster than the 2nd fastest player in the league it's not even funny,..I don't care WHAT 40 times say

Coming from a Bills fan, I still find myself rooting for him to have a good game.. Gained a lot of respect watching Tua the last couple of weeks. He's a competitor and one of the toughest if not the toughest in the league. Hopefully he can continue to improve throughout the years, especially with probably the best receiving duo in the league giving him some pointers. You guys have a great quarterback if he can clean up some of his weak spots. Even if he's not great... unfortunately Waddle and Hill will make up for it most of the time by being open by 10 yards.

Tua throws underneath because DB's dont want to get beat deep. But give up big chunks just not the TD. Hill and Waddle cannot be covered one on one so give McDaniel and Tua credit for adjusting to what D gives them.

Tyreek is almost at the thousand mark already. However, he only has 2 touchdowns
He has helped put us in the red zone and we have bigger red zone weapons so it makes sense. He just hasn’t been able to break one like in KC. Also Tua doesn’t have a strong enough arm to lead him into the end zone unfortunately, otherwise Tyreek would have like 10+ TDs 😄
If he didn’t get under throw every time 😂 he’d really have so many td but he’s having once if the best seasons of his career just not scoring as much

I’m still so annoyed that the Sherfield catch wasn’t called a TD. McDaniel shouldn’t have even had to make the decision to throw the challenge flag (or not throw it). Refs were so quick with the penalty flags but couldn’t see a TD right in front of them.

I'm a Dolphins fan since I was born so I'm ecstatic that they pulled out the win. But, god damn the Lions are so close to being a good team. I loved Dan Campbell When he was with Miami and I still think he can be a great coach. He's got that fire damn it. Almost every game this season has been within a touchdown for Detroit whether it comes down to an offensive catch or a defensive stop they just need one or two more key players to make a game winning play and they could be a real contender. I'll always root for my Dolphins first but damn I want to see an underdog surprise everyone one of these seasons.
