This reminds me of Bama days. Getting up 30-0 then Tua sitting for the second half...
God I loved those days...Pretty much by halftime we already had the game locked up, then bring in the back-ups for quality experience
He was getting sacked a lot good choice
They put him out there for one too many drives in the second half. I'm all for giving him the first possession in the third quarter, but bench him after that. He's taken enough damage for the season already so keep him fresh for the playoffs. I don't see any good reason for putting him out again when you're up 30-0 and he took another hard shot because of that. Tua is amazing, the Fins coaching staff is very questionable.

Proud of my Phins, incredible game that we won in the first half alone. Would’ve loved to see Tua pad his stats and fully unwind from the time off but I agree with the decision to pull him after multiple big hits.

Tua is undefeated in this season. Highest QBr. Top 5 in TDs while missing 3 games. Bounced back from a brutal concussion to throw not one, but two of his star WR teammates to top 5 in 20+ yard catches. All this while being one of the most heavily criticized and disrespected QB in recent years at this level of talent.
I like Tua, but even when he gets arm tackled for a sack tye whole nfl holds there breath, he been hurt to much for his age .
Late this season I expect to see more teams disguis blitzes and try and confuse him , at least to try and throw off timing

I remember when Tua came out they questioned his arm strength. I dunno but its looks fine to me!!!
Tua proved me wrong. After last season, I thought this would have been his last year in Miami as a starter, but damn has the kid taken a massive step. You can tell that he thrives off of the criticism and disrespect he has received in the media and online all of last season and during the offseason. And it’s more than just ‘oh he has Tyreek now’. He has grown as a quarterback exponentially and it’s great to see. I thought he was gonna be a Justin Fields or Zach Wilson, but he turned it around and is putting up numbers. He always had that potential though, ever since his Bama days. But it looked like he wasn’t going to fulfill it last season. It shows you we can’t predict the success of players as well as we like to think. He’s like a totally different player now. Last season he seemed so hesitant and gun-shy and when he did go deep his accuracy wasn’t great.
I mean look at Baker, Darnold and Rosen. Every one of them are busts, and Lamar Jackson is never gonna let those teams who passed on him or viewed him as a potential wide receiver or running back forget that they selected them over him. I thought a change of scenery would have helped resurrect Baker’s career, but he just isn’t good enough at all. I could see him as a decent career backup, but that’s if his ego can accept being #2. That’s gotta be tough as a number 1 pick though. Lol

I think being bad for so long has given a lot of Dolphin fans PTSD. Sure they took their foot off the gas in the second half and there are some things they need to clean up but this was an easy win that the Phins were in control of the whole way. Only real concern for me is Armstead, line looked noticeably worse after he went out.

Hard to win a division let alone conference when you've given up the most points , but what my concern is what I've just seen , how will they respond to teams that take them out of there timing , there lost when they don't have that warm cozy feeling and no pressure .

This is the first Game the Phins won this season when Tua did not finish the game, though it looked shaky once Armstead went out, it does not explain the defensive collapse, Oline needs to play better pass blocking and run blocking and defense needs to play the full 60 minutes.

The Dolphins pass game is unstoppable at this point. McDaniel’s has done an incredible job creating their offense. They’re so dangerous, and yet so smooth. The defense has to play soft because of the deep threat, and Tua just carves them up underneath. They’re like “Fine, you wanna cover the deep ball? We’ll just throw for 10-15 every pass and you’ll never get off the field.” This is the first time in 25+ years us Dolphins fans can be excited about our team. Phins Up!🐬

It is at least nice to see the emotion on the Texans defense. They obviously care about the game. It is so hard to have that when your owner/gm/team is so blatantly tanking. It sucks to play like this. They are also doing about as good as they can with the worst offense I've seen which is saying something compared to past Texans teams.

Love my phins but our O-line is such a weakness when Armstead is out. I know our defense isn't as good as the last few years but I honestly feel like our O-line will be the key reason for ending our season if/when it happens. If Grier doesn't fix our O-line AND supply depth in the offseason I'm going to be pissed.

Mark my words. The DOLPHINS offensive line is going to cost the DOLPHINS any chance of having future success this season. Terron Armstead injury is a huge problem that has had rippling effects on the DOLPHINS offense.
Really at this point the question is: are Miami just another "almost-there" wild card team,or are they a legitimate SB contender? If Tua has truly arrived, the rest of the league should be nervous.

I think TUA should have been taken out of the game as soon it was 30-0. The Texans have zero offense and TUA took some nasty hits unnecessarily. When the team's Super Bowl hopes completely ride on him, why would Mcdaniel want to risk another injury just to see his offense pad their stats?

Dolphins need a better line for Tua. Tua had 2 concussions, missed 2 1/2 games, came back in beast mode and maybe the hottest team right now. I'd hate to Tua go down again because of weak O-line.

I hope the Tua bandwagon sticks with the kid, regardless of how the next three games go. They were nowhere to be seen until this season so I am dubious as to their staying power should he struggle over what will be the team's most challenging stretch of the season. It's a gauntlet to be certain but I'm setting the bar at 1-2. I believe they can win every game but I'm keeping it real.
