Here's a question, why does it seem as though all Jeeps from factory have the headlights aimed too far up? It seems like there's only high beams and off-road high beams...

I have what I believe to be an antique headlight, but can't tell anything about who made it. It looks like something that would have mounted to the side of the grill much like a Deuce Coupe's headlights, but the opening is offset and it has a latched door that opens it. On the back of the light, it has a grill with a pattern that appears to say "Kirby". Does this sound like anything you've ever seen before? Thanks!

Modern lights are too bright drivers should not be blinded by oncoming cars. This is one time that the government should step up and regulate this industry. And how stupid is the automatic high beem option idk how many times I've been blinded on a curve because the automatic high beems do not turn off in time. I'm definitely not one for government overreach but I tired of being blinded and or being flashed because someone else is blinded.

I've noticed that a lot of times the headlights are so bright on newer cars that it can tend to hide an obviously flashing turn signal.

If aimed correctly they're not that bad, but the thing is, modern day headlights esp led projectors have a real sharp cutoff and by default/from factory they're aimed just barely below the typical eye level of oncoming drivers. If you're heading towards another newer car that with led headlights and they're on an upward incline, you're getting the full brunt of those lights. It happens to me sometimes, and I end up doing the same to others by accident if I'm on an upward incline too. I have Morimoto XB led headlight assemblies on my 17 F-150. They throw out a bright beam that is VERY intense to the point that looking directly at them is pretty much like looking directly at the sun, but are not blinding as long as you're line of sight is above the beam.
