Obviously a motorcycle school is great for us riders but it’s a plus to have a friend who’s able to personally help you especially since nobody is going to a motorcycle class every single day. This video is amazing, keep them coming. I wish I had a personal friend who has years of experience to teach me. Great Job for her first time.
So many things cool about this video. For one, you get to teach someone a new skill you’re passionate about AND you were successful. Two, it can help teach other potential new riders who may not have someone to learn from. Three!!! I get to learn how to be a better teacher! My girl wants to get more comfortable on a bike, and watching you teach helps me to become teacher for her. Thanks man!!! Dope video ✊🏼
This is awesome, she looks so happy! I wish I had a cool neighbor like you with a bike I could learn on. Hope she continues learning and buys her own bike (and helmet) some day.
That battery and starter motor deserve a raise, I can smell burnt windings from here. In fairness she likely did better that I would do in her place. I get anxious really easy, and the brain just stops working altogether. Now you have to get gear and stuff for her too, she seemed into it.
I wish I'd have learnt on a bigger bike back in 1996. My first bike was a power valved TZR125, which made about 30hp, but all the power came in at once at 8-10k, but on a 125 stroker, you have to give it tons of revs to get going, so it's easy to hook into that power band and almost loop the loop. this lady has done exceptionally well, and has my utmost respect. It's a very daunting thing to learn, with a steep learning curve, but the rewards are worth it 🙂
I watched this video a while back using my other channel but didn't comment. This is exactly how I learned and it was a Ninja 600. Was in my friends front yard and he had me manipulate the clutch until I felt comfortable and not stalling. Then we went on the road, with him on the back. Brave guy! HAHAHA.
You’re a great friend to teach someone before the classes…the classes are overwhelming. I had a co-worker teach me in the 90’s and she was excited to do it….that was the best feeling so freeing he bike was a 500cc I think she was a lot shorter than me but, it was what made me get my licenses. Well over 24 years ago! Still haven’t gotten my dang bike tho! 😢
Wish I had a slow suburb to practice! I’ve got a gravel driveway that goes to 50-60mph roads…with a blind curve 200yds before my driveway so people come flying around the corner.
Oooohh kwool I got some excellent character building skills 👌 👏 👍 back in 1990 I taught my 12 year old daughter how to ride a 89 Honda Hawk 650 GT 650 V -2 single sided swing arm 400 lb bike perfect for the young ones 👌 🌄✨️⚡️⚡️
she's picked it up pretty qik do think with lots of practice and encouragment from you she'll be on a bike soon ...all good things come to them that wait.,.🤘
Adobo I been away from your channel for a minute however I was going through all the videos, back when you had the R1 was when I was actively watching. I wanted to know if you’d consider a video of your bike progression and why you chose or got ride of bikes up til now.
Your channel wasn’t populating for a while but I definitely missed it. Tracks days too, if you’ve done those. It’s great to have some of that insider wisdom on bikes outside of what’s marketed and common community bs.
very good you let her start with only clutch that is the best way and to walk the bike you dont need throttle i even let people feel the biting point with the break on i say keep the engine running and dont move and dont use the throttle and after that we start walking like you did but good way to learn like you do see to many saying the learner to strait away do throttle and clutch at the same time and then they wiskey throttle
Here in the UK learner riders are restricted to 125cc/11KW bikes, there are three levels of licence and you can't ride on a public road unaccompanied unless you pass at the bare minimum something called a CBT (which is a formal assessment but not quite a test). After that the CBT is only valid for 2 years and there are things you can't do. Also wearing a helmet is compulsory. It's amazing how much more liberal the US seems to be on that kind of thing because where I live everything in this video is completely illegal 🙂
Doing better than me, took my blackbird out last night after not riding for 35 years, maybe I should have gone smaller but I cut out the middle man, it wasn't good to watch. Good effort young lady.
I just got a 650 today and dont get to bring her home until next week and even though I know how to ride just the thought of messing up makes me nervous but this video reminds me that I know what im doing and that im just overthinking it
Hay adobo great stuff with the teaching and i really dont want to be negative but if she shit her self and lost control the helmet is the only thing that might save her life also maybe some boots if she drops the bike at least then it might not snap her ankle just saying
where gear when learning i had a learning bike with big crash cage on it fell using front break in the corner going 3mph bike landed on my foot had riding boots on had nothing for the low speed falls it helps a lot
maybe explain to her that the clutch is the connection between the rear wheel and the engine yes i know its for the gear box i am a mechanic but just to keep it simple
It depends on the bike you have but yes, most of the time you can let the clutch out fully but very slowly, once the bike gains enough speed you can let it out more. Its always good to use a little throttle while in the friction zone to get the rpm's up. hope this helped!
my cousin thought me by giving me the bike in the middle of the road so that I would be forced to ride the bike, looking back at it now it could've ended badly but it didn't
Omg yes. I got yelled at and given a bike that was way to big for me. Dumped the bike three times out of being nervous. I should never have gone to a school first

A grown adult: discipline & maturity. And there's the results. Good on her.
I learned the quickest by being a child on it and having balls and hurting myself actually 😂
Anytime I’m afraid of trying something new I just watch a video of a newtimer trying it and realize I can do it too, this vid was actually perfect
Same and I have also anyone that can help me to learn how to ride a motorbike
Same here.. It has been helping me in all areas of my life
"she's probably going to crash". "you don't need a helmet". This guy is one hell of a teacher 😮
Well he does have a point that it will overwhelm someone who never tried a bike at the start
@@Juanguar6:00 that's pretty obvious. She should be learning from a real instructor.
@@olheghtt yet he been riding for 15+ years tho

🎉 congrats on the huge accomplishment !!! Pretty soon she’ll be ripping gears ⚙️ up and down the roads !!! Thx 🙏 for Sharing
Hope so!
I love it! I hope the cutey has years of much enjoyment!
this made me so happy!!! I’ll be purchasing my 1st bike soon and I to be able to ride it home myself!! Great job teahing her.

Goldwing guy: "Yeah yeah a LITTLE 650"

It’s his son so he’ll definitely take it up soon
There are not many things scarier than learning how to ride a motorcycle on a 200hp sportbike.

I love the energy of the guy coming out of his house and joining with his gold wing hahahaha
She should be proud coz she learned riding from a pinoy! ✌
So cool and she's a cutie! Great vid. I get my training this weekend.
How you doing man!
‘She’s probably gonna crash’
‘I think a helmet is just gonna hinder you’ 💀💀
Considering whiskey throttle is a real thing for new riders no helmet I'd the dumbest thing I've seen today.
Hella late but at least wear a brain buckets or smth if a full face helmet aint there ☠. Actually wild

Part 2?
No helmet, boots, gloves or kneepads. My guess: he cheated with her and is trying to cover his tracks
It isn't hard to drive a stick or to learn to ride ANY motorcycle no matter what size or how fast it's, it's just like riding a bicycle honestly!
She's pretty
I spit out my soup at 6:02
Dobrze jej idzie.😊😊
Any updates? She ride now?😅
taught her how to ride but not how to be safe while riding, no lifesavers, no mirrors, and only front brake?
Learning to drive stick in a car first would be a much better idea
Next step: 12 o'clock 😂

We need more women riding...Salute
Do you teach in San Diego by chance?!
"Helmet is just gonna hinder you"

Today, a squid was born.
She has good throttle control bc a 2-cylinders in first gear is terrible lol
It’s not that bad when you’re on a bike with 47 lb-ft torque 😂
any update?
