What an adventurous day we were in for after deciding to take the small lake-side road along Lago de Chapala, instead of the main road further inland. According to our, probably exaggerating, bike computer, we had 27 % climbs and 50 Celsius in the sun! This made us especially happy when reaching asphalt again!
We were also reunited with Marlene & Lukas, with whom we cycled three weeks in Turkey last year, and had a great few days with them, catching up, sharing stories and visiting the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacán near Mexico City.

Avid biker 🚴‍♂️ my self. I live in Florida and saw your channel looking for videos on biking my State. Once you hit the 5k mark on UA-cam subscribers you’ll start taking off. Keep up the videos and content. It just takes time. Enjoy the journey and things will come. You must go to Antigua, Guatemala 🇬🇹. The 🌸 flowers and old churches and organic food is amazing. I loved it. Costa Rica is safe too and they have a saying there “pure life”. Pura Vida”.
