I remember watching Sean and his team from Long Beach loose the 92 LLWS (which would be awarded to them later) and came back in 93 to repeat as champions 🏆. RIP

Sean Burroughs overcame alot to make it back with the D-Backs,he was a bust but drugs are why, incredible run representing US in LL World Series when Tawaiin was dominate.
Tony Scott had a productive career as a role player,he lasted awhile!

Sean and I had several interactions over the past 25 years. He was playing travel ball in Long Beach Ca and I was umpiring on a cold and breezy day. He spit and tobacco went all over my face through my mask. I wiped my face and said...PAYBACK is coming. First pitch shoulder high, strike one. 2nd pitch up by his eyes, STRIKE TWO! 3rd pitch over his head and he hit it for a double. A couple of innings later he came up again and used his fingers to spread his cheeks to show me NO MORE Tobacco.
Sean was on the ONLY team that had been in the Little League World Series that WON 2 years in a row. You can still see him pitching 92-93 in the LL WORLD SERIES, best curve and fastball I have ever seen at this age.
He goes on to play for the Padres, Rays and Dbacks. The year he came back he had made his comeback with the Reno Aces and I was in Reno checking on my property and went to a game and was seated on the 1st base line. I was living in Germany at the time. He walks by me and I see his name on the back of his uniform BURROUGHS and I said.....STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TOBACCO AND THE UMPIRE? His shoulders go up in the air he turns around, puts the bat between his legs and spreads his cheeks showing me he has no tobacco. He smiles and walks away. I had to explain this to the Reno fans for the rest of the game that I have know Sean since he was a Juvenile Delinquent in Long Beach Ca. Just 3 months ago we reconnected on facebook and talked about this incident. We have no idea when any of us will die. One important issue. Are any of us ready to die? If you are not you need to repent of your sins and follow after the Master, Jesus Christ and follow Him all the rest of your life. Goodbye Sean, I will miss you! Rest in Peace.

It's not way too early. Most people don't even reach that age. Any Moore, they were old. They died end of story.
