Its not whats said, its whats not said. All self help guru advice for the last 5 years, at least the bad stuff, can be summed up to "work hard, dont sleep". Which is shit advice, you should be working efficiently, intelligently, not just mindlessly. And not sleeping is incredibly bad for your health and your work productivity but we had it shoved in our ears for years. Success is possible, but it isnt easy nor is it always simple. If we're having an honest discussion about what it takes to succeed, then dont fall on the same trope of "work hard". Look at most people who made it and you'll notice there's mentorship, connections, investment from families, resources they drew on for knowledge or startups.
how are there not more homeless people? the majority be living paycheck to paycheck. one mistake and you are on the streets. people keep that up for 50 years. that rough. but that's how humans always lived at least now we have a stable income, a place to get food, and decent shelter. we forget our roots and look to people that live unordinary lives and treat that as the standard.

“No toxic work environment” says the women who’s employees make minimum wage sitting for 9 hours at their makeup factories and making their spandex. The audacity of her to never even have to do the worst parts of working and say no one wants to work.
She meant no one wants to work for shit pay and no work life balance. When she said "get up your ass and work" she meant that ladies should use standing desks. It's great for your back. Or she's an elitist knob that is out of touch with reality.

the "baby bar exam" has a pass rate of 20%, the general bar exam has a pass rate of 53%. note that the general bar exam is much harder. the difference: law students from a law school are exempt from the baby bar exam, law students who go through an apprenticeship (like kim) first have to take the baby bar exam before the general bar exam. does that mean the baby bar exam is supposed to weed out the idiots who are too dumb for law school? you be the judge. just remember kim failed that one 3 times...
@@obiwankenobi661 as a person who is a California law student I can tell you the reason the pass rate is low is because only students who are not college graduates have to take it… e.g. high school graduates the exam has a low pass rate because the pool of test takers are not the most educated and skilled it’s not hard. She had personal tutors and time she took it multiple times during the pandemic she’s just not smart. It is what it is. Also non-Aba law students have to take the baby bar as well if not college educated or from a non-California accredited law school.
It’s not the message it’s the messenger. She was born rich because of her daddy, rubbing elbows with the Hiltons. Bought a body by 18 and then got famous because she got piped on camera by Ray J and dated/married a bunch of athletes. Never really worked a day in her life. I guarantee I work more in one week than she has in her whole life. *self-awareness and honesty have left the chat*
Fax! She fails to realize that people actually want to work, they just want to be paid accordingly. It's a wage gap and people have realize their worth
I don't think she doesn't work it's just that her work is amplified by her connections. To sit here at act like she doesn't work is disingenuous. Compare her to her brother....
My afrikaans teacher once said to me, "Not all of us are meant to drive a Mercedes over a bridge, somepeople are supposed to build that bridge, and it's those builders that make living in this world possible." That's why I never clown and say you are a sheep for wanting to go and work for someone else because we all have a part to play in making a future for all of us
It's even more disrespectful because she has been called out so many times for being an extremely demanding boss that underpays her workers, and sometimes doesn't even pay them at all. Not to mention, the factories that she uses to make her products are all in 3rd world countries that are known for modern slavery (and child slavery too).
They are all malignant narcissists, it’s what they do. Which is why I have never watched their shows or bought any of their products, I refuse to support people like them if at all possible.
Thank you for saying that! I wish this would be exposed, really. It shows what her values are. She is doing to other children what she would never let someone do to her children, and/or her family.
Correction on Kim’s statement: No one wants to work anymore FOR HER. The pandemic opened a lot of people’s eyes to the entitlement and selfishness of celebrities and I’m quite certain they can’t exploit their staff like they used to. She thinks she can give young women the okie doke that if they keep working hard they can get somewhere close to her success. Do your own work Kim!
People like Kim who were born into wealth know nothing about work, let alone hard work. Being so entitled it wouldn't be a stretch to think they don't know the difference between hard work and exploitation. People are tired of slaving away their lives, they are just content with having enough to pay their bills and maybe go to a restaurant once a month. Not work till death for their boss's extra yacht and a mere chance to advance just enough to be able to pay for one used gucci bag.
“No one wants to work” there’s minimum wage jobs out there expecting a degree and years of work experience in that field even though it’s an entry level job. People do want to work but they also also want to be payed what they deserve and treated like a human. There’s people out there who work three jobs and are still poor, the world is full of hard workers, just because they are broke dosnt mean it’s due to laziness. It’s because people like her don’t want to pay people what they are worth due to greed. That’s how the rich stay rich. So out of touch.
@@rosalynnelson7764 I tell every kid to try to work in a field where you're servicing society aka doctors, nurses, tradesmen/tradeswomen etc Because in these fields it's about work but if you learn how to be social and communicate you'll go far, connections won't work that well in these fields because it's based on work performance
The most accurate comment to this situation. People are slaving 12 plus hours just to cover less than a third of their expenses. I'm tired of hearing basic taglines that don't reflect reality. I feel like we are robbed of our choice.
I'm blessed to have watched my mom through the years. We went from "white trash" to upper middle class during my childhood. I watched her raise kids, work full-time, go to undergrad, med school, and then work her way up the ranks. She always told me, hard work wasn't enough. She could be the hardest working server but without ambition, she wouldn't go anywhere in life. That's something I've kept in mind through my journey in life.

When you have access to resources that even the hardest working of people don't have, it indeed gives you an advantage over everyone else and that's just how it is sometimes. Aba's monologue about finance was spot on because unless you come from a family with access to that type of knowledge about the nuances of personal finance, you'll be far behind those who do.
100 percent agree I come from a poor single mother and I bumped my head a lot trying to learn about the world and I’m just now learning about finances, credit, and budgeting.
I didn’t learn how to use credit until last year and I’m 39.. I didn’t have a whole system of privilege that allows me to speak with that kind of tone.. Are we really listening to a Kardashian
Exactly. If your parents didn't teach you about finances or they were really bad at finances all together, it's gonna be real difficult for you. Especially when these types of things aren't taught in school.
It's so sad how financial literacy isn't taught in public schools. People would be so much more prepared to live life after school if it was a required class.
That's the parents responsibility. Schools can only teach but so much especially in public schools. Public schools teach the basics, train future generations to be obedient to authority figures and be an employee for a corporate entity. Parents have to do the extra work to teach their children to be critical thinkers, be financially literate and learn life skills. The problem is that most parents don't have the time, the knowledge or the care to do it.
@@sbostic08 My dude it’s not the parent’s responsibility because majority of parents work consistently for a living barley having that education for themselves. So your point makes zero sense.

As you get older that definition of success changes. When Aba said "enough money to pay your bills and go on a couple of trips a year" I was like yup, that's me. I have turned down opportunities for advancement because I enjoy what I do. I know what a gift that is, in an of itself. My ego doesn't play a role in those decisions anymore. Most advancement comes with so much stress and having to manage other people. Not that I'm rolling in it by any means but contentment is priceless.

I used to work 60-80 hrs a week as a welder. I spent months living out of motels and I just thought that if I worked hard enough and long enough it would all be ok. Then I nearly broke my spine due to managerial negligence. I sued the company for $300k and spent a year in rehabilitation. During that year I spent a ton of time with my family and it changed my perspective. Now that I'm unable to do any real physical jobs I've turned to IT/cybersecurity. Same gurl. My ex friend said she works hard as well. However, her mother let her stay under her roof for free during her college years and she was able to work and save money. Also, when she finished college, she had connections to get a job from her mother.
That reminds of this cheese place in LA. They called themselves a small, independent cheese place. I did some research…one of the owners is a Lucerne…I just thought “really y’all?”
It's nearly unfair for our generations right now. I'm 21 with no money saved, no life experience, nothing and people expect us to be able to deal with these ludicrous prices on everything. 50 years ago I could afford a family on the salary of a Mechanic, now I can't even afford rent for most apartments on an over $20 dollar an hour job.
It’s crazy how some people are just so out of touch with the subject too. “Oh people are just lazy, fast food jobs will help you move up the chain, etc.” The reality of it, if it was possible they would have been done it. Cost of living IS EXTREMELY higher than it has been and those same people that say the new generation is lazy doesn’t understand that just cause your family was either born into a situation where money was dispensable, college was affordable and grew up with stability, it’s not the case for everyone. Minimum wage is still $7.25 where I’m from and any realistic person knows that isn’t enough to live off. And with you saying that $20 an hour isn’t enough to afford most apartments is crazy. Then count into the factor of jobs really treat workers like shit as well even if they can be the top worker
Agreed. Apartment prices for one bedroom or studio apartments are ludicrous right now. It’s cheaper to buy a 4 bedroom apartment and split the difference between roommates

This resonated hard with me. My father spent a ton of money on art school, but lacked the support and connections to be able to become something in the art world. I remember a job where I would have to get up at 3-4 am and pack groceries for supermarkets; it was damaging to my health, and I felt awful working. I was 19, so I could handle the work at the time and ate well. I remember another woman who worked the same job as me; she had 2-3 kids (I can't precisely remember the number) and was a single mother in her 40s. She'd had a stroke and heart attack working at the job, spending 70+ hours a week for minimum wage (this is in NZ, so it's a little bit more than in the US). She'd spend time in her car in the mornings before work crying, just to then suck it up and begin her shift. Thankfully, she's a manager now and doesn't wake up at 3 am as often. I'd like to see Kim Kardashian do that for a year or two.
Lol how does getting up and 3 or 4am a bad thing? That's literally normal for a lot of people. You just go to bed earlier. I mean, unless you're leaving out context. Also, my mom went thru the same thing, raised me and my sister, single, working full time 10 and 12hr mandatory over time often and is just fine. Shes retired and in her late 60s. 10:53 really resonated with me. Just finished a bachelor degree, completely useless, can't get a job, and only thing i can show for is a tower of student debts. Yes crying myself to sleep.
That part about the degree hit hard tbh. 5 years of college for a bachelor's degree, graduated in the peak of Covid. Still can't find work in my field after 2 years so I'm living paycheck to paycheck as a delivery driver.
I’m only 24 and what I’ve learned during my current tenure in the military, is that even tho getting secondary education is excellent, degrees not all the time gets you a job in the field, networking does. And taking up a trade is also beneficial as well. It’s crazy the requirements some jobs have and it’s wild for some people to put in the years of sacrifice for college and not see the fruition of their labor
This is why I don’t take advice from wealthy people unless I know their background. You don’t get it. Nobody in my family is wealthy, hell we are barely middle class we all live pay check to pay check. I can’t relate to a rich woman who at the time of her conception was worth more than I probably will ever make in a lifetime. And knowing how she went about getting her fame a money, “hard work” is just another day on her back. Roll camera
Thank you for addressing the fact that not everyone can do what they love. No one is gonna love cleaning sewers and other important crap like that, but someone has to do it.
This is coming from a women who literally has taken almost every look she's had from actual hard working individuals. Yeah she wants you to work hard so her family can steal your ideas and capitalize off it.
The funny part is her advice was spot on, she's just tone deaf as hell about how much of a leg up she has over the vast majority people while getting there.
The advice is a good one, but I feel that the plp that are pressed about what she said are mad at their own inadequacy and jealous they where not afforded the same privilege. This is how the world is some people will always have to work harder then others. Plp need to worry about their own situation and why they feel personally affected about what a person they obviously don’t like has to say. It says more about their own personal troubles than her.
Resonated with what you said about money and financial literacy in this one, and how to get ahead. My dad tried to encourage me to invest into my pension from an early age, but he didn't explain to me HOW and WHY compound interest/investments work and where money goes. This was around 2007/2008 so I knew some of my Dad's friends were having to work extra years and their pension value had decreased and they couldn't afford to retire, and I didn't understand WHY, so I was like helllll noooo I'm keeping my own money. Now that I'm a bit older I have good financial literacy, but I also remember 07/08 and know to diversify investments too. Wish my Dad had been able to explain the WHY to me. I intend to pass my lessons on to my own kids one day, and I hope they end up one more step up than I am. That said, I'm grateful that my Dad knew *something* at least and made me AWARE of managing my money even if it wasn't optimal at the time. As a person with immigrant parents. I give this same advice to everyone else who comes to the U.S. forget about school and building a good resumé. It's not what you know and can do. But it's WHO you know and what they can do for you. Practice english and learn to make the right connections with the right people. That's the only way to make it almost everywhere in life.
Immigrants do very well BECAUSE of their heritage. They build strong communities and help each other based on race. White people legally CANNOT do this, so I would rather be in a tight knit immigrant community than individualistic white communities where no one sees you as their brother or kin.

This is big facts. This needed to be elaborated heavily! Connections matter. The better the connections and social skills the more opportunities. It is what it is. And it's terrible that some people don't know.
Networking is a HUGE thing especially in arts/entertainment. I work in Film/TV (mostly Union productions) and most times all PAs (Production assistants) are either there to scope out what they might be interested in or to network with another department and prove themselves. Most times it's literally the only way to get into a department unless your a director or producer's kid. Which happens, but there is usually a lot of resentment and anger towards the people that get dropped right into higher departments, especially from other members of that department that grinded to get there, and the PAs
I didnt understand, you mean like PA's are at filming locations/sound stages just hanging around looking and networking? Ive worked in Production before and never seen that. It just tripped me out reading that.
Aba was speaking facts on that college tip. Everywhere I go on my industry people know my Dad and it’s gotten me in rooms and better opportunities. I do the work, but I’d be lying if I did it off the strength of my own deeds
Even having parents that aren't leaches makes a huge difference! When you've never been able to keep your birthday money or prize money from winning things, and never mind your teenage job income because you grew up in a family that always needs your lil ole dollars and cents is a whole new world.
A rich persons world is so different from a poor persons world. If you were born rich you dont know what its like being poor. if born poor and become rich, you appreciate stuff a lot more. (thats the difference there) For people like Kim who didnt earn her fame, her reality is just so (hate to say it) privileged that she doesn't know real struggle. She doesnt have to go get groceries, she can hire someone for that. She doesnt have to save money for an expensive buy, she can just buy it. And getting paid SHIT. my wife is constantly working, back to back day/night shifts for less than $20 an hour. While simultaneously being threatened of termination due to not getting covid tests enough times per week.
@Sincerely Respectfully Still kinda odd, I thought most nurses were paid $25 an hour bc of how difficult the schooling is. Unless it’s like a nursing assistant position maybe. Nurses do A LOT, even 25 an hour isn’t enough for the bs they go through 😓 i hate how somme health care positions are underpaid smh
My husband is a successful man. What he attributes to his success? Incredible luck. Yes, he was working on his career since he was 10, and yes, he has awesome mother, who is a successful entrepreneur and helped him with legal side of things and a loan - but the element that he praises the most is just being lucky- to be born in his family and being lucky that he could change his adolescent hobby into a business. Saying that working hard equals success is an understatement to say the least.
This was really good dialogue. Very fair, and honestly nice to hear as a person that has worked every day of my adult life. I don't resent wealthy people, but I do resent when they act like they know what it's like to be me.
I resent the rich because they create policies that only benefit them and screw over the rest, this family makes tons of money by making young women insecure! I wish we have real role models for people today!
@@magicalmoonb @whatoc Well we have to be self reflective of why they are popular and rich. People eat up all their drama shit from the TV shows to the magazines to facial care brands and so on. Heck, this can be said about most of Hollywood for men and women, but that's a conversation for a different day.
From what my parents came from, they are successful, however in the eyes of our society they are middle class at best, the statement ya'll made about who you know and establishing good connections is spot on, as I move through my life working hard myself I can't count the amount of times someone less deserving would get the promotion, or some new hire that has no experience in the position (one that I would like to apply for) knew the supervisor and got it, yes working hard can pay off (it is something I can't turn off myself), but it can only go so far... it hinges on your upper management recognizing what you are doing, but if your management are filled with incompetent people who couldn't careless about yours or their position, all that hard work goes down the toilet.
My grandma had the same job for 20 years. Never took any sick days even when she broke her foot. She went to work on a broke foot. She was paid $11.50 an hour and she was only making $15 before she quit. Hard work rarely pays off. Also she was doing everyone else's work for them pretty much, especially her boss's he was lazy.
Big facts bro. I'd say about 80% of time in the workplace promotions and better positions are given to people who are friends or are liked by "management" regardless of work ethic. If the "manager" or "supervisor" for some reason just doesn't like the cut of your jib you ain't getting sh*t no matter how hard you work.
This is hands down one of the best videos you guys made. No wealth is greater than information and education and while the outrage towards Kim isn’t misplaced, the core of the issue is so much deeper.
I recall submitting an application at a measly ice cream shop at the Pike in Long Beach, CA. I never received a response. I saw the manager out on the town one night, and asked her about the position. She told me, “I actually gave my friend the position.” Relationships are definitely a factor.
Interesting how she talks about "no toxic work environments" but people who have worked for her and her family have come out about things they went through..
The hard work stuff she's talking about is insane. Their social media is not due to working hard. It's due to bare connections, and also due to body enhancements, bought with money, money from a rich family. Like cmon..
The thing is Kim and Khloe were extremely sexy before their nose jobs and other cosmetics surgeries I always had a thing for Armenian women ever since I used to date a woman named Susha from there , she had green eyes and her dad was funny he always called me "My friend" which means he likes you and I was a 18 year old black kid I can tell you that's a lie Armenian dads don't want their daughters with black men, they definitely don't want them with white men or Asian men I noticed, it's why I wasn't shocked they all date black men it's kinda common
I can testify to the "it's who you know" comment, for my current job and my last 2 previous jobs, it was via connections. I didn't even need a CV/resume
Btw .. their father no disrespect to the man , but he hit the Americas radar on the trial.. but he'd made mills already as a defense attorney for the music industry.. so she already had the name, and connections.. they just have never lived a "regular" life so they sincerely don't understand what their saying..
I love how they just memorized some shit someone wrote on pinterest years ago to make people work harder so that their boss could go on more vacations... Yeah, world
You don't even need to be rich to be disconnected. Once I was out of dept, I realize a lot of my worries were just gone. Now i don't penny pinch at the grocery store. I just buy what need and don't care about the price, except for beef because damn those beef prices right now are insane. 😂
Rich people are almost always out of touch. They live in completely different world and have no clue what common folk have to deal with on a daily basis. This woman has live her whole life with a silver spoon in her mouth and thinks she knows all the answers. But no, she doesn't.
You hit the nail on the head, "working smart" is way more important than "working hard". Working smart is managing your time wisely (learning a new skill vs watching tv). You work smarter when you make money, but you still live like you're poor (investing most of your money into a business, property etc vs spending money on depreciating assets i.e. shoes, cars, jewelry etc).
Great, great talk. Probably my favorite one you guys have done. Instructive, encouraging and neither mean nor disheartening. I had a lightbulb moment when I first read that $100,000 quote too. It's often attributed to Charlie Munger, Warren Buffet's partner. "Accumulating the first $100,000 from a standing start, with no seed money, is the most difficult part of building wealth. Making the first million was the next big hurdle." For me, it did seem a long time to climb to that first $100k. I'm not to a million yet but it's snowballing.
People who use social media to the extent that the Kardashians use it really shouldn’t say anything negative about its impact unless they’re willing to also accept responsibility for being a part of it. Anyway, why do people still care about the Kardashians?
That bit about Preach still being signed to a Job site, I'm the same way. I went from working as a Park Ranger to sweeping cigarettes in a Walgreen's parking lot next to a main street. I'll never forget how that felt and I told myself that I never wanna go back to that type of work again. I've been at my recent job for about 5 years now and I'm humbled.
We can’t really blame Kim at this point for saying “outrages” things because she does it for the money. People buy her shitty products still. So no it’s not just them to blame but us for being easily influenced by someone who doesn’t care
The sad thing sometimes is that this kind of balanced/nuanced content won't generally reach the masses. I'm glad to have been following your content for a while. 👍🏽
Imagine being a single mum in poverty working 3 jobs trying to provide your kid all the best you can then hearing that..I don't know what's wrong with her. She can literally leave her kids with 4 nannies and neglect her kid while enjoying luxury
These two brothers have an incredible amount of self-awareness and wisdom, there is no capping, no machismo and no ego just real actual facts and knowledge from experience. keep up the great work!
100% this video. I came from a financial illiterate broken black family. My mom even went into bankruptcy (and also used my name for credit, which i found out a few years ago). I went through college not knowing the repercussions of student debt and well, debt in general. Money started mattering to me when I actually started paying bills out of my own pocket and I needed a car to get me to work...and that was at age 25. Im 30 now and thankfully i finished my degree in Computer Science but, MAN do connections matter. I started networking as soon as i got a job in illinois (because Mississippi is ass for tech jobs) and got into a full-time IT job. Definitely not staying at this job for long but, its a good stepping stone for my certifications and network for future plans. I'm also thankful everyday to be in the position im in. I just paid off credit card debt from a previous 4 year relationship and now to start planning on the student loans part. It sucked going back to living in an apartment but, at least i have a nice quiet apartment to stay at (and I can afford), nice car, and good health.
I'll never forget the moment I was talking to a group of work friends and I mentioned my mom was hitting me up to pay her utility bills again. I said it so casually because I thought it was something we were all going through. That's when I found out their parents had never asked them for money and if anything, they were still helping them financially when things were tight.
@@alitabbicca2772 I've had times my mom asked me for help. She raised me and spent a lot of time on me, I never felt she was setting me back if she was in a tight spot and needed some help. I helped her immediately, no questions asked, and even gave her MORE than what she asked for and paid off the entire bill. That's what good children do. It would be different if we are talking about drugs or something else, but everyone goes through tough times and I have no idea where Americans got this mentality of just kicking people out when they are 18. That's one of the worst things you can do to your children tbh and it sets them back heavily financially because instead of saving up for a down payment for a house, all of that money is now going towards rent.
@@Nolimitsoldier43 yes, yes I would. I would say utterly shameless, depraved things to her face that would dishonor my own mother in an effort to get her to attack me. Imma get that bag
Preach was so spot on here, those words would resonate so much better coming from someone who actually went through hell and gained an opportunity, rather than from a certain someone, with certain relations, and having privileges most of the world will never have. Work is needed for success, but the difficulty of that success is dependent on where you are.
In life it's "who you know or who you blow" (sometimes both) with a sprinkle of luck that can determine your success. In Kim's case...she started off as Brandy's stylist which means she was always around celebrities and the celebrity lifestyle and parties allowing her networking opportunities (Paris Hilton and such). Also, being around Brandy gave her access to Ray-J...I'm sure you all know the rest LOL.
I can’t lie I love these guys man. Very level headed, not aligning with right wing ‘pick yourself up by your boostraps’ economic politics nor left wing ‘its everyone elses fault but my own’ economic politics. On social issues too. A lot of what they say is the view of the majority outside of the states where people understand that not everything is so black and white. I personally align more left wing politics just because I think we’ve strayed so right with all this self help “its your fault you’re poor” bullshit
Straight facts that y'all were spittin 💯 Especially that post university life comment, your connections matter and so many factors influence how things play out outside of your qualifications and work ethic.
I am glad people are being more critical about the “work harder” narrative perpetuated by the rich! I am not saying they didn’t put any effort but they have to acknowledge the capital they have that made their success easier to acquire. I am glad that Americans are becoming more class conscious because it wasn’t like this a decade ago
Jordan perterson said, "It's a luxury to do what you love, but it's a moral obligation to do what you find fulfilling." Although the reality of the situation is often very different and comes in varying degrees of difficulty, i always loved what that statement represented. This video touched on a lot of that for me. Great content as always guys.
This is a great video. I’m finally realizing I’ve been deluding myself. When Aba mentioned that some people will only go after success and validation it hit me hard. It’s all I do. I don’t want to put in the work and sweat but I still want validation from others for my existence because I can’t find it in myself.
"When you're the smartest person in the room, you gotta leave that room" probably what her yes-men tell her when she gets sent to the kid's table to give the adults some peace and quiet.
I would love to see research done on the evolution of wealthy people's psyche. I feel like at some point it was no longer enough to just be born rich. It suddenly became cooler to be a self made millionaire, and now everyone is pretending to be self made. I miss when these people used to just be secure in their being born with a silver spoon in their mouths.
I work in the entertainment industry, and I can say from first hand experience that the only way anyone is getting hired on my production is through nepatism. There has yet to be a single person hired because of a submitted resume. We need a certain role filled, someone on the team suggests someone. But here is the flip side, the reason these people get hired is because they are talented and hardworking. These days, hard work is half the battle. The other half is networking and luck. Keep hustling, but don't expect the world because of it.
I def agree money, beauty, connections will all give someone a giant boost on their path to success. When people ask me if I like my job I always respond with "I like making money" followed with "I'm good at what I do, which makes the job alright". To be passionate at what you do is a def luxury that many do not have. It seems like the Kardashians were speaking to people within their bubble. They probably do not truly understand what most really have to do in order to provide for themselves. Though I do agree hard work does pay off....maybe not like making millions...but def achieving a few personal goals and becoming independently financially stable.
An analogy that might be useful to someone: Sometimes you could be working hard at the wrong thing. I practiced piano with the wrong technique for years and its caught up to me now and I have to repractice everything with the right technique and finger placement so I can be able to do the meanuvours I want to do. Practice makes perfect only when you are practicing the correct thing and sometimes you dont even know what that is. A guide or mentor would be helpful.
As Kim said to her kid, "daddy is a singer, performer, artiste. Mommy...has so many talents I can't begin to name them..........." Aba has a point...it tends to be about who you know. Billions of people in the world, don't nobody know you. If you want that high profile job that others who have similar qualifications to yours are competing for, you gotta know somebody or be well known.
They know that and they don't care. My question is why are they preaching this message to the masses while in S&M outfits? Isn't Kim in her 40's. The over sexualized Barbie look is kind of played out 😬🤭
Well said!! I am a first generation immigrant, and I came here from Cuba with my mom and sister…that’s it! My family owned a home for 1 year until the bank took it from us. I have lived in 15 different homes in about 17 years as a kid. I had NOTHING, I was given NOTHING, and my vision of the future was grim asf! I was your regular homie drinking out on the block and chillin with friends, chasing street rats. I went through multiple unemployment checks, and food stamps, all while going to college. I had many loved ones die on me, many of which I couldn’t even go to the funeral to. I graduated college, still broke asf no car. I got myself my first car, I went from job to job selling myself in interviews. I used to do 50-100 applications a week! Now I make 6 figures working two full time jobs, I got a career within the degree I acquired eventually, and escalated. I been practicing trading on my own, and flipped 15k to 25k in a little over a month, apparently that’s a rare situation. Now im working two full time jobs, trading, and studying real estate, to eventually finally one dayyyy make it after an entire youth of pain, suffering, and grief. Every student, (especially minorities where their immigrant parents don’t know about the financial system in place) need to have a basic financial class where you can learn budgeting, investments and stocks, mortgage and credit cards. It is immoral to send kids out there with no practical knowledge. My dad took a class like that in highschool and was the most helpful he ever took. Especially for men, math=money makes things much more interesting. Dad taught them real life budgeting. Finical independence and upward mobility is the way out of poverty and towards true equality.
I work with a high school that has mostly immigrant students, some of the students are still learning English and some of them have parents or a parent who is still back in their home country. They don't really have anyone to guide them on the topics you mentioned. I was glad to find out that they started a class that covers those topics and they even incorporated it into an after school club. I really hope that other schools follow suit.
Yeah, learn the game, the rules, and understand the reality that the game is rigged to benefit the elites from the start. Then, plan how to survive in that rigged game. It is what it is.
My dad was a high school math teacher and did a budgeting lesson along with real life food prices. How to save 20 cents by Not buying your kid the happy meal when fries and nuggets are cheaper without the soda and toy. Not bitter at all but well taken care of. Lol
They used Kanye to meet these clothing designers before Kanye they weren’t invited to Met Gala and other major clothing events. OK my question is would you take on her responsibilities. She puts her whole life out there for the world to critique. I'm gonna be 100% honest I wouldn't and couldn't do it. You know there is probably 1000s or more people that are looking to sue, rob or even kill her for that money. I'm good money ain't worth my peace of mind.
I worked for a rich family for years. Believe they keep eachother rich. The Dad set up the kids, who made advantage marriages. And everyone bought their cars from the family car lot. Everyone hired from the family temp agency. Everyone worked at the family business where I worked... they keep that money in the family.

It's so sad how financial literacy isn't taught in public schools. People would be so much more prepared to live life after school if it was a required class.
Let’s be honest, in school how many times would you as a teenager would you pay attention in class for something you don’t understand.

I also live a much more quiet and thrifty life because at the end of the day all the stuff I had really didn't make me as happy as I was sitting down with my brother and playing some board games or drinking with my sister and her husband while we rewatched the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

It’s great to have Aba and Preach giving people advice about the reality of success and money.
Bitch be out of touch
It's nearly unfair for our generations right now. I'm 21 with no money saved, no life experience, nothing and people expect us to be able to deal with these ludicrous prices on everything. 50 years ago I could afford a family on the salary of a Mechanic, now I can't even afford rent for most apartments on an over $20 dollar an hour job.
Move to mexico. Im dead serious. Gonna learn spanish
@@imnotyourunicorn91 and some of the one bedroom apartments aren’t even fancy enough to warrant those prices. $7.25 was a wage to live off of for the average person, key thing WAS. Now..? Pfft people wanna at least just live.

Immigrants do very well BECAUSE of their heritage. They build strong communities and help each other based on race. White people legally CANNOT do this, so I would rather be in a tight knit immigrant community than individualistic white communities where no one sees you as their brother or kin.

People who use social media to the extent that the Kardashians use it really shouldn’t say anything negative about its impact unless they’re willing to also accept responsibility for being a part of it. Anyway, why do people still care about the Kardashians?
Because people don't have any real hobbies. Like anything associated with grass.

Imagine being a single mum in poverty working 3 jobs trying to provide your kid all the best you can then hearing that..I don't know what's wrong with her. She can literally leave her kids with 4 nannies and neglect her kid while enjoying luxury
Kim is lucky to be rich enough to have 4 nannies while frolicking around making sex tapes with Pete Davidson that are just dying to be leaked...

Kardashians 0:50: "thauuugt is sew TrU !!"
My eyeballs are permanently rolled back in my head 🙄
I'll never forget the moment I was talking to a group of work friends and I mentioned my mom was hitting me up to pay her utility bills again. I said it so casually because I thought it was something we were all going through. That's when I found out their parents had never asked them for money and if anything, they were still helping them financially when things were tight.
So true, the wrong parents can set you back
@@alitabbicca2772
I've had times my mom asked me for help.
@@Delimon007 I got kicked out at 18 by my father and joined the Air Force 🤷🏽♂️, where are you from by the way?

Preach was so spot on here, those words would resonate so much better coming from someone who actually went through hell and gained an opportunity, rather than from a certain someone, with certain relations, and having privileges most of the world will never have. Work is needed for success, but the difficulty of that success is dependent on where you are.
👍
I lovetoalkibg to people who aren't from the states.... they're generally very open minded.... very solution based and optimistic.

Although the reality of the situation is often very different and comes in varying degrees of difficulty, i always loved what that statement represented.
He said cry yourself sleep I felt that in spirit…Life is no joke.
It’s no longer trendy to be viewed as “old money”.
An analogy that might be useful to someone:
Sometimes you could be working hard at the wrong thing.
Mommy...has so many talents I can't begin to name them..........."
Aba has a point...it tends to be about who you know. Billions of people in the world, don't nobody know you. If you want that high profile job that others who have similar qualifications to yours are competing for, you gotta know somebody or be well known.
I pity their kids, they don't know their mother is whore.
I love how they're mother looked like she was trying not to laugh the whole time her daughters were speaking. LMAOOOOOO!
"I raised a couple of air heads, but they are extremely lucrative air heads so I'll keep quiet"
No one is going to give them full credit for their success based on how they achieved it. They have to know that.
They know that and they don't care. My question is why are they preaching this message to the masses while in S&M outfits? Isn't Kim in her 40's. The over sexualized Barbie look is kind of played out 😬🤭
@@sbostic08 idk how or why people find her attractive looks like a horror movie killer with all that plastic surgery

Them basic kardashian empty minded fools can eat a ****! I run circles around people like them any day. I don’t even know how to ask for help without looking awkward because all I know is how to get it 100% on my own. Let this message be read by someone who needs this, thank you.
Ps: it gets better if you maintain relentless consistency.
I find the total lack of acknowledgement of beauty privelege and being a millionaire as a child impressive. Why are there no ugly, fat style influencers? I bet they're out there working hard, but it's not about hard work at all really. It's about nepotism and dopamine nonsense.
Thanks, rich dudes, some of you are just Martian to me. 👍

True. A guy born into money or a woman born naturally beautiful.... they both start the game in creative mode.

Nah they just have rich privilege because they used money to get plastic surgery to look better then what they were naturally born, then complain about having to compete with beauty expectations

These flags could be a result of insecurities, emotional and/or mental immaturity, childhood emotional neglect, attention/validation seeking, attachment issues, etc.
Observing people's personalities, character and behaviours rather than focusing on their 'physical attractiveness' is a good way to overcome the halo effect.
Also, like attracts like, so make sure to be self-aware and reflect on your actions/behaviour to grow and mature as a person. And be compassionate to others as you'd be to yourself.

Lol
It's actually crazy that people like kim K think that what they do to make money even remotely qualifies as "hard work"...
Exactly what I thought when she said that
They used Kanye to meet these clothing designers before Kanye they weren’t invited to Met Gala and other major clothing events. Before Kanye Kim was promoting toilet rolls and whatever else Chris Jenner could get money from. So she did work hard with the advantage of who her father was and using Ray J, brandy, Paris and Kanye as stepping stones add to that she’s also made girls have body dysmorphia with her unrealistic plastic surgeries. Good luck yo her and skeet.
@@emlave7254 exactly. Kanye has his own flaws but her marrying him was probably the best thing to happen to her… other than ray j of course
OK my question is would you take on her responsibilities. She puts her whole life out there for the world to critique. I'm gonna be 100% honest I wouldn't and couldn't do it. I like being able to go somewhere and be unnoticed. Kim can't even go to a gas station and get gas without swarms of sycophants approaching her. We can all say someone else has it easy when we don't know half the shit they go through. Just having the money they got would make me nervous. You know there is probably 1000s or more people that are looking to sue, rob or even kill her for that money. I'm good money ain't worth my peace of mind.
