this is such an inspiration! i started surfing last year but since im nowhere near any beaches, i havent been surfing again. now im exploring options and started to solo travel while hoping to catch some waves. hopefully by next year, my skills will improve.
Looks like a fun trip. Thanks for letting us all tag along. Food looks amazing. I admire your surf stoke. In fact it inspired me to go surfing in the morning. As far as arm movements go, even the pro longboarders move their arms around. However the goal is minimal arm movements outside of a specific position. For example arms begins your back or simply a smooth arc movement. Smooth arms indicate perfect balance and form. But you looked like you’re having a blast. I move my arms around sometimes. Nobody is judging anyway. I really love your philosophy about following the surf and it’ll all work out! True.

Hey you are going great on that malibu. Those long boards can teach you so much about where the juice comes from and helps you learn where to take it. Great movie's keep it goin!!!

Pay attention to the waves and wave your on! Never mind caring about anything else. That’s what it’s all about, you and the Ocean. Don’t compromise your surfing, because somebody else who probably doesn’t even surf, decides to critique you’re surfing. It’s about you and the ocean , not you and the audience watching you in the ocean. Thank you for sharing China surf. PS. Been surfing with our Mother Ocean for more than 50 years now! Seeing Beautiful surfer girls, who actually surf, never gets old.🙂
I think you said you haven't been surfing very long?? But the good news is you have really good style and style goes a long way keep it up it will all come together for you soon! If you can get one try a round pin the turns are a lot smoother the water comes off the tail just right!!

They’re from Shenzhen, so Cantonese, hehe. We speak pretty flat as well because Cantonese uses less tongue movement.
