Mate in all honesty let me be blunt: Phil Heath at his best 2011-213, towers over ALL the champions past and present. The man had literally NO discernable weaknesses. He beats Arnold, Haney, Yates, Cutler and Coleman. That incredible structure, small waist, superb conditioning, impeccable flow, perfect mass with density and balance was simply a work of art. It was as if A mad scientist took all the best components of Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler and Shawn Ray with a dash of Chris Cormier and creared the Perfect competitor/Champion. Heath is what Sergio Oliva envisioned as the perfect Champion, when he stated he was always disappointed in Ronnie Coleman for going the extreme mass monster route as opposed to maintaining his 98/99 version. Heath with that 3D effect to cap off everything, in my view surpasses even that Coleman. He looked THAT jaw dropping phenomenal. Hadi Choopan whom I respect a good deal, just can't touch Phil Heath, The REAL Phil Heath at his all time best form. No one can at least for now.
@@johnparisi3424 The man had literally NO flaws that one could say held back his physique. From 2010-2013 he was flawless. Absolute perfection and everything you EXPECT a TRUE Olympia worthy champion to look like. Pristine conditioning, definition, superb flow and aesthetics with BALANCED mass and density, capped off by that incomparable 3D look that just separated him from the pack. The only other physique I put on that level is a Peak Shawn Ray who was in my opinion a work of Art who came along at the wrong time thanks to the unhealthy love affair judges, fans etc.... had with the ugly mass monsters with obvious midsection issues. If Ray was around today, now that the sport finally has come back to its senses and places a priority on shape, form, aesthetics, conditioning and structure, with balanced mass, I have no doubt that Ray would have won at least one Olympia.
Phil definitely losses to Yates and Coleman, stop glazing. Not having apparent weaknesses doesn't mean you're unbeatable. Also, his width is a MAJOR weakness that impacts every single pose. It's not like having weak biceps which are irrelevant in 5-6/8 mandatory poses. Width is required and a major aspect of any and every pose there is.
Pitch black background & good lighting plays a big role on stage,as you can see in case of Phil heath 2011, now they ruined production & lighting, they care about sponsors logos on the screen, worst lighting
Hadi is very good and on paper won and deserved it this year. He's packed with as much muscle as you could fit on a frame too. That said he doesn't have a very aesthetic physique. But Phil, Ronnie, Jay, Yates, Haney... These guys are on another level - esp Phil and Ronnie. Huge AND aesthetic. When Phil 1st competed you KNEW (or at least I did) that he'd be Mr. O at some point. He just had that awe factor. I don't know anyone these days that has that. Maybe the stacks are different in this era? Krizo comes close (and maybe Good Vito) but there's not a certainty about them as there was with Phil. They still need to fill out in some areas and work on symmetry. Can't remember the last time a bber appeared where everyone was like, "WTF!?" There are lots of guys jam packed with muscle who on a given day could be Mr. O and maybe that's good but somewhere there's a WTF guy who'll come out of nowhere and just tear it up.

No comparison here. Phil is better is every single aspect, the fact that Hadi managed to win the Olympia is a huge statement to one: his great self-belief, determination and focus on strengths like conditioning and deep cuts, but also to how much worse the level of competition got when some with such a long torso and long limbs rnds up beating everybody.
I’m sorry but there is no version of Hadi that beats Phil Heath. Derek Lungsford right now is the only Open competitor that matches Phil across the board. Don’t get me wrong they all work hard and make more sacrifices than I am sure we make in order to be successful in there craft. In my humble opinion CBUM looks like what an Olympia Champion should look like. Todays open competitors I’m sorry don’t look good.
I think the lighting at 2022 Olympia wasn't the best. Prior years seemed to have less bright lighting from all directions. It would form more shadows in the crevices inbetween the muscles and also make the muscle bellies shine more. This creates a contrast between lighted round muscle and the shadows in the crevices. I think that plays a big part. The upside is though that with more bright lighting you can more clearly see all the details, just things seem less round.
Phil has no weaknesses other then being narrow according to many 🙄. Every muscle group is in perfect balance/ symmetry with one another with insane separation and detail its incredible. I know it’s subjective but from a pure bodybuilding perspective I dont even think ronnie beats him
Hadi has had a few rough decisions in his Olympia escapades including the 2020 Olympia Open and when he competed against James "Flex" Lewis in the 212s! Phil kills him in your 2011 v Hadi 2022 though.
If phil did not try to get bigger and retain the size and physique, he would have win more than 7 olympia. Look at all the olympia winner after phil, none of them beat this.
Guys I'm not someone who follows bodybuilding alot...but if I say Richard Gaspari and Tom Platz (those whom follow will know), I follow hear and there over time. Okay that being said... Phil at the beginning...says it all. Phil's definition... Phil's arms a bigger and the triceps are huge. Phil's forearm Brachioradialus muscle ( hadi's non-existant). Phil's Tighter abs/mid section. Phil's Front deldoids...I'll start again...smooth from the traps to front delts to triceps - ripped and built!!! Chest and lats....even. Hadi wider quads, but...definition know where near Phil's. Phil's condition is tighter and bigger and better alot better definition. Calves go to Phil. With my limited knowlegde and just a passer byer... Phil beats Hadi...comfortably. My comment is from the initial first picture. Hey, you can't take it away from both these men... Mr O's both of them. Cheers.
Hadi lacks good separation in his arms and legs unlike young Phil. The skin texture also makes a huge difference, Phil looked like a statue while hadi being extremely impressive looks like a ball of muscle. Their conditioning was comparable but Phil was more conditioned and you can see it from the glutes and low back. All that and the fact that hadi’s arms look smaller in the most muscular shows that 2011 Phil was just nearly unbeatable
There is no way in hell Hadi takes even one pose away from Phil in 2011. Hadi is a good champion, but Phil has one of the best physiques to ever grace the Mr. Olympia stage. I understand the need for making a comparison video more interesting, but Phil closes the door decisively. Not even close.

This is a perfect example of how symmetry doesn't just refer to the size and shape of a muscle but also it's conditioning. He
looked THAT jaw dropping phenomenal. Hadi Choopan whom I respect a good deal, just can't touch Phil Heath, The REAL Phil Heath at his all time best form. No one can at least for now.
Completely agree, 2010-2013 Phil Heath is the best physique we’ve ever seen in bodybuilding and we haven’t seen it since.
Width is required and a major aspect of any and every pose there is.
overall size + width = major disadvantage.
Ronnie was not aesthetic neither was Cutler or Yates.
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 1998 Ronnie Coleman. He was lights out in size and shape. He rivaled Flex that year in aesthetics. 1992 Dorian Yates. 2006 Jay was on the edge and he did get too big for his frame but he had good aesthetics early on. As did Ronnie, Yates, etc.
rear back double bizeps...look at the triceps of phil..awesome
I think we’re all starting to especially appreciate Phil Heaths prime physique
No comparison here. Phil is better is every single aspect, the fact that Hadi managed to win the Olympia is a huge statement to one: his great self-belief, determination and focus on strengths like conditioning and deep cuts, but also to how much worse the level of competition got when some with such a long torso and long limbs rnds up beating everybody.
It's s tough one, but I really do just think that the judging criteria has changed somewhat since Phil's days
If it was a video-comparison there was no competition
I die laughing everytime you do that "hweh hweh hwehhh" on the You Pick Tuesday 😂 😂
2011’s Heats version is almost perfect exept for collarbone width. In the years on he looked for more mass but he lost his stunning overall look.
Phil here looked great. When are we gonna get Shaun rhoden vs Andrew jacked?
Since ronnie and jay . Phil heath at his prime is still unstoppable in this decade.
The men’s open competition has been on the downward slope for a while now and this really illustrates how low we have sunk.
Cheers.
Hadi was just as good in 2020 as 2022 and Phil was at his all time worst and still beat Hadi. I love hadi but no where close to Phil sorry
Heath for that roundness and perfect symmetry👍🏽🙌🏼💪🏼
Hadi lacks good separation in his arms and legs unlike young Phil. The skin texture also makes a huge difference, Phil looked like a statue while hadi being extremely impressive looks like a ball of muscle. Their conditioning was comparable but Phil was more conditioned and you can see it from the glutes and low back. All that and the fact that hadi’s arms look smaller in the most muscular shows that 2011 Phil was just nearly unbeatable
Front lat spread looked way more proportioned on phil ..hadi looks too blocky
There are so few physiques in the history of the sport that can stand up next to 2011 Phil
Ramy 2014 MR O vs 2022 MR O
GOAT fitness did that comparison and it was shocking to see
That backdrop and lighting is amazing makes phil look even bettee
2011 Phil is beautiful. Symmetry and roundness. Hadi looks like a brick.
Ronnie Coleman will always be in his own league, but Prime Phil Heath no one touches him
There is no way in hell Hadi takes even one pose away from Phil in 2011. Hadi is a good champion, but Phil has one of the best physiques to ever grace the Mr. Olympia stage.
I understand the need for making a comparison video more interesting, but Phil closes the door decisively. Not even close.
Dude you're Hilarious!!! 😹 Awesome vid and totally agree, Phil is INSANE! 💯
The fact you made the sound with your mouth 😂
Phil's 3D 🏆 wins but Hadi is a big body...I think the Phil that beat Kai would still beat Hadi.
Hadi condition is great! But Hadi shape is way off!! Phil has a way better shape, and symmetry!!
One thing is for sure, the lighting was a lot better in 2011…
Hadi looks like an oompa loompa compared to Heath. I dont know... Hadi is great however he looks strange next to Phil.
Hadi beats Phil "The Gut" Heath in 'Abs & thighs'. Thats it. Its a 7-1 rout.
If they stand next to eachother in real life it would be very different. Here they look similar in size but in reality Phil is a complete monster
Hadi is bigger.
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 dude there's a video with phil and hadi next to eachother and phil literally mocks him because his arms look half the size of phils
@@Professional.Bro.777 Yes arms Phil has some of the best arms of all time but Hadi is pretty much bigger everywhere else. Phil is my second favorite bodybuilder right behind Shaw Ray so I'm not hating on Phil.
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 ua-cam.com/video/JQL6ei8X_P4/v-deo.html dude c'mon
@@Professional.Bro.777 first off that was 2020 Hadi is much bigger now and especially if you are comparing 2011 Phil against 2022 Hadi which this video was. So again 2022 Hadi is virtually bigger everywhere than 2011 Phil Heath except for arms and calves.
Hadi is not even close. Not even close
for some reason i feel like the 2011 lighting was better, and possibly phil's tan being more shiny was highlighting the 3D-effect,
i wish we could see hadi with the same tan and lighting
Serge vs Ramon Dino??
i don't know what u smokin bro..but the comparison was supposed to be 2011 vs 2022
This is a perfect example of how symmetry doesn't just refer to the size and shape of a muscle but also it's conditioning. Phil has the rare gift of being conditioned top to bottom front to back just like Yates. Hadis lower body is harder and more conditioned than his upper body which hurts the symmetry of his conditioning
Interesting comparison
Can't agree with the decision... Phil's arms look like an anatomy chart, legs also. Super visible individual muscles. Hadi might have more striations on the pectoral muscles, Hamstrings could have an edge, sure. But his arms, legs, back and even the external oblique, these muscle groups are all blurred compared to Phil. I need a video on judging criteria... ... ... (please please please!)
It’s a no contest.
Phil wins everything,every single time!
I like Hadi but he is never beating Phil!!!
No question, Phil beat him easily. He was on another level that you might not see again in a long time!
Phil.. easily tbh. Love Hadi tho
How has the lighting got worse, can't we have the black background back
hadi vs dexter 2008 would be interesting
Only Coleman could touch prime Heath
Sus
Best body of all time and Ronnie 1999
Nope. 2011 Phil!
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 even hany rambod said Ron is the goat and Ron 99 he better than Phil he bigger and better condition
Phil Heath > Hadi Choopan
The only weaknesses Phil has are his narrow frame and his midsection. Other than that, he basically maxed out every aspect you could imagine: best arm, best delt, best back, best legs, etc
Phil esta a otro nivel , por algo le dicen el regalo , sobre todo ese efecto 3D que no se le había visto ni he vuelto a ver jamás en nadie
Phil all day very easily.
Do we think Phil’s amazing shoulders are partly to blame for hadi an rammy putting all this shit in there shoulders? Thank god hadi took it easy on that this year
HADI WILL NEVER WIN AS MANY MR O'S AS PHIL .I REALLY THINK HE WILL JUST HAVE THIS ONE WIN. THEY COULD HAVE GAVE IT TO DERIK OR NICK AND NO ONE WOULD HAVE COMPLANED . THESE NEW GUYS ARE JUST COMING ON TO STRONG FOR THESE OLD RHINO'S IN THE LINE UP !
From the front relax Phil wins
