I had a Syrian friend who was a Christian said that same thing. Its the fight over the real estate. He said there will never be peace there. Thousands of years it been going on. We are not going to change their ideology.

Brothers Phil, Al and Jase, I have a dear friend whose son was in Afghanistan -- was injured there, but was very blessed to come home with his arms and legs intact, and no damage to his vision. There's not much a 76 year old can do, but I sew, make quilts. I made a quilt for this young man, and I was very blessed to be able to do that for him. I really wish I were able to make quilts for all those guys who served in Afghanistan, but alas, I am not able either physically or financially to do so. My heart really goes out to all those young men and women who so bravely served in Afghanistan, and my prayers to those who are still there, hostages behind enemy lines. May God bless these folks and protect them!

Hi brother’s in Christ. Thank you for explaining different Bible verses in your pod. It helps me to learn more about the word. I loved today’s discussion because I also struggle with guilt from past sins. I was raised Catholic when I grew up and
the main emphasis was on sin and their different levels (& names), and how our works supposedly helped. I do Not follow this practice now because I’ve been born again.
